So as you can see my girls suffered a bit in week 3 but are on the mend. I've continued to LST them tying down the new growth sites and either tucking or removing the fan leaves to allow light to penetrate to the new growth sites I'm going to veg for 2/3 more weeks then flip them Just did a complete water change and stripped down the whole system to clean the water pipes air pipes and air stones. After visiting my local hydroponics shop they recommended a organic ph up and down which I thought sounded good less chemicals in my grow what's not to like about that. However once I had used them I quickly realised they had issues I was constantly checking and adjusting my ph levels as they would drop to 5.3 and over the course of a few hours would rise to 7.4 upon checking my water pump I found my filters where completely blocked so I flushed them and put them back in and it seemed to work fine until the next day when I checked again and yet again they where blocked. I think they had reacted with my other nutrients and caused a brown funky sludge. I have scrubbed each bucket and reservoir to get rid of the gunk then used disinfect on all the equipment and the grow room. Finally cooled down this week, maybe 5mm of rain, not much. Did some light defoliating, lollipoping, really doesn't need too much this early, especially with the height the Hugel gives me, keeps the bottom nice and clean with great light penetration. 2 hours of drip irrigation, and weekly foliar spray of Neem, Kelp, Aloe, Epsom is all she's had. Still top dressing Gaia Green mix every 3 weeks, but I really doubt she even needs it. I gather it might make a bigger difference during flower but we'll see. Haven't fimmed or topped in 3 weeks, may just leave it, shape looks great to me. Will defoliate harder closer to flower or if it gets wet and rainy, but weather looks great. The trunk is getting HUGE, going to need a chainsaw to take this bad girl down come Oct!

Did some high stress training on the painkiller and honey cream maybe it was a bit late for that but I wanted to really make sure that they have a the space they need. Autumn is here and it did start with a lot of rain, I'm a little worried about mold if it's raining non stop. The temperatures dropped down to 10c° in the night and humidity is high, so fingers crossed that no mold will appear. The honey cream finally started to flower properly but she's still around 3 weeks behind the other two strains. The painkiller is getting closer to the finish line, she still has around 2/3weeks to go though. All plants received a lot of thining out removed some branches and leaves, lolipopping style hope this help increase the airflow and prevent mold. Pictures made while it raining.

This girl has such a unique smell, like nothing I've smelled before. I can't wait to smoke her. She is coming along nicely, fattening up and started to ripen. I can see her colours changing. Not long till harvest now! Thanks for stopping by!

Originally I didn’t think I had much to update until I compared the plants photos at 7 days. The ff3’s have definitely responded better to their new home than the neighboring ff2. They are definitely getting a thicker stalk and adding more foliage. I started the week with a light dose of flora flex nutrients which is by weight rather than tea or tablespoon. They call for 1 gram of the v1 & v2 per gallon of water and I opted for 1 for the entire 6 gallons. But with no response I adjusted the ph and added a small amount of Cali magic and flora grow. On my previous rockwool multi time per day feeding I would have expected these to be twice the size at two weeks. Hopefully we get some explosive growth soon.

Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week. Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me. I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway. Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today. Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

I was forced to chop a small branch off of the Fire OG because of PM. Tropicana Cookies was lightly affected as well. I finally grabbed a larger 70 pint dehumidifier, I’m hoping that high humidity issues are now a thing of the past. On my next run, i will definitely run a longer veg with more LST training. I feel like my buds are pretty small in comparison to others I’ve been seeing at the same stage as mine. The trichomes are coming in nice and heavy tho!

Blue Dream Extreme is still growing good. I had a accident and broke a top off. Still trying to get nutrition in line. Will be doing a solution change tomorrow.
