We are at day 21 on this gorilla cookies. I think she would be quite a bit bigger if I didn't break one of the mains on week 2 but she is still chugging along and growing well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

Mid week is day 21 of flower. I'll do one more leaf strip in the next few days and then I should be done screwing around in the tent with these ladies. I'm extremely happy with how the canopy filled out. Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cull 3 of my 8 and that left a void. The last leaf strip is done. I also removed the trellis netting. I am unsure if this was a good idea or not. As far as I figure, My canopy did fill the 5'x5' but it doesn't any more. Now that the scrog net is down everything "stood tall". The reason I removed it is so I could make sure that 1. I could strip everything that I wanted/needed to before everything turns woody and fragile. 2. get to my plants to make sure that no Male flowers surfaced. I did consider putting it back in but then I though of harvest time, what if one in the back is ready before the one in the front, that is gonna suck to pull out. So I left the net out. My hypothesis is that as the buds start to gain weight, the weight will get the branches to come down and spread out again. If the weight seems like it may break limbs, at that point I will apply the scrog net as more of a trellis net that will be easily removed. It's weird, two nights ago I was dreaming that I was in a panic looking for plant yoyo's. I was dreaming that my kolas were so huge that they were snapping. LOL Hopefully it wasn't a dream and it was more of a vision. I have still been feeding by my pH range. I still haven't had to use any pH up or down in the last 18 days. I have noticed that flower isn't as forgiving as veg cycle. I do have one strain that is showing leaf tip burn so I have decided drop my EC enough to let my pH rise a bit more quickly. In the flower cycle the plants seem to be more finicky with their uptake. If It's too strong they leaf tip burn within a couple of days so if you need to make changes you can't tip toe like in veg. You need to aggressively get back into range because the plant isn't going to wait for you. It's clock is ticking and it's going with or without you. After my recent leaf strip, my humidity has been lower than ideal so I will probably be putting a humidifier in shortly. I have been using the dimmer to dim my lights to 75% but I would rather have them at 100. I am looking forward to what the next 5 weeks bring so I hope you all stay with to see how this turns out. It was not what I expected from her ... shes in flowering and I am left of that stature .... in a 20 liter pot ... it will be a very poor production in buds ... compared to the others .. but we will follow its evolution over the course of the weeks... and try to eradicate the bug.

it grows so fast. The lower leaves are shaded and away from the light. So I cut them as the plant gets taller I really don't have a good setup to be able to clean my roots. I tried this week anyway. I watered each pot with 2L (not enough I think :/) of water at 450PPM PH: 7 then after I gave 1L of water at 900PM PH: 5.5. There was a big puddle in the room afterwards. But it wasn't that hard to clean up after all. In 5 minutes with a rag and a bucket ------------------------------------------------ -Daytime temperature: 24-29°C -Night temperature: 22-27°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... Dam these two have just blown my mind in terms of ability to handle stress and environmental changes . The platinum bananas is the best looking plant so far the healthiest look and vibe , the ripper is also doing very well and looking very bright green and strong smell.. I'm going crazy till next week and can't wait for that flower time ..cheers

Feb 18: addendum. Just a note to mention that although the baby bud sites are a plenty, Overall growth isn’t as dramatic as I have seen. I have been pruning fairly regularly through the first few weeks of flowering to expose light to the baby buds below, which is working for sure as they are getting bigger. No trichomes tho on the leaves - or anywhere to be seen. This is different from my last photo grow, a NL #5. Feb 14: Valentine’s Day so just a quick note Things are holding steady - bud sites a plenty! I think I fucked up the weeks. It hasn’t been 4 weeks

Hello friends, I planted this plant as an experiment as you can see but today in day 17 from seed i decided to share this growth here coz it surprised me with the so far growth. Sorry for lacking photos from week 1 but i didnt take pictures.. she is under the sun whole day and 4 hours 250w HPS... and as you can see some leaves curled in coz she is too young for 250W hps 25 cm from her.. So far I foliar fed her and regularly watered, dilluted 2ml/L of B-52, 2 ml/L fitobacillus (essential bacterias and enzymes) and foliar sprayed her. With every watering so far i put 2ml/l fitobacillus and 2ml/ B-52 and mycorhizae in the very first and second watering. As you can see her main stem is already fatter than average for that time of growth and the root mass is so dense and thick, also many many hairs ready to absorb some nutes so tmrw will be her first nutes dosage, day 18 that will be from seed. I am hoping only that the pot size will not restrict her growth, as the roots already reached the bottom and started to curl back in.. but their colour is bright white and i have no worries bout rot or similar, at least so far so good :D Stay tuned brothers and sisters, all my grows are for you in order to learn ultra fast all the interesting and mind intriguing stuff by following only one grower. @James drop an eye here, you did a good job with genetics on this one.. Today i applied some more lst to maximally expose side branches to the sun. You will see some interesting pics and vids explaining my low stress training technique. I blv this plant's main goal in life to be LST'd. Dont be afraid, side branches will be thankfull and your harvest will be thankfull.. You can se some lst with side branches and how i tucked the leaves and made sure they stay there using the green wire and forming that shape on the pic. Today i also noticed a white hair showing up, still not sure if it is starting to flower in her DAY 19 from seed, or is it just "stress defending mechanism". Seems to me i will find out soon :)

The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Of course there is an extra update for this :-). Otherwise the week was poured 3 times with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and all women checked.
