Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: PG 34 – balanced structure, well-developed branching, consistent stacking. PG 52 – dense flower set, compact top formation. Pink Gelato stands out for its sweet candy-like fruit aroma, paired with symmetry and early bud quality.

So I had some internet issues so I couldn't upload. But now everything is alright. This last week I only gave her water 2 times. first time I gave her 500 ml water and the second time only 250 ml water only. And I took more fan leafs off her as you can see I only had to hang her up without trimming or anything. After she is dried I am going to weigh her and see how much I got. ***************************************************************************************************** As for grow report : Blue kush is really easy to grow just make sure the temps optimal. The buds grow really dense thats 1 of the parts I like about this strain. She takes normal feeding. Very strong genetics. And she can take a few mistakes so this strain is perfect for beginners and in medium or expert hands she can get really nice with the colors and smell and taste. Next week i will post the weight and the dried product.

Full recovery from the accidental excess calcium. Cheese still has purple stems from lockout. However, the buds are filling up nicely. Gorilla Cookies has long skinny colas. The 4 Assed Monkey had to have the branches tied together. The branches are too weak for the weight of the buds!

🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸 Harvest – Apple Fritter (Kannabia) 🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸 Chopped on 05.09.25 (FW9) after a clean 9-week flower. Didn’t weigh every single gram, but what I trimmed wet came out to 939 g+, and there’s still some left unweighed. Dry yield will land somewhere in that ~quarter-kilo zone once everything’s cured. She finished with 14–16 solid mains, stacked up dense and resinous. Scissors got glued quick, buds are heavy, sticky, and already giving off that sweet fruity/pastry smell Kannabia promised. Had a couple bumps (bit of bleaching during stretch, thrips halfway through), but she bounced back fine. Easy to train, forgiving when stressed, and filled the tent nicely. Super happy with this one — pressing part into rosin and slow-curing the rest for the jars. 🍏🍪🔥 Ps rest of grow info in week 20

The plants look and feel incredible, I can't wait to do some serious supercropping later into this week. Follow along! This should be fun. Day 3 flower update: holy cow I love these plants, I am having a ton of growth and turned the optic 8s up to 100/50/25 and going to leave it here until 9/1 then switch to 100/60/50 and see how they react. Clones got cleaned out today to a buddy so we can further a couple other strains, the Chempie cuts were exquisite. Side note a little bit of nutrient burn noticed on main girl ZKWC but not anything to stress about, washing machine mother does not seem to mind a higher EC feed. The last few weeks have been a 30 second watering once a day. As of today 8/23 I am switching to 5/5/2.5/2.5 ml/g for BasisA/BasisB/StartR/Calimagic. I am obviously not an expert grower, just a guy trying to grow some beautiful big fat flowers. Take my advice with a grain of salt but feel free to lurk and watch the results! So day 4 of flower I was contemplating what my goal for this grow is, and I settled on schwazzing this grow, I did it with my first photo grow in Hydro and had awesome success on all but two plants (weaker blue dream phenos did not respond well and I had all kinds of feeding issues not entirely sure they would've made it without the schwaz either but anyways...) So yeah we're gonna try it out. Plants are bouncing back quickly from everything, I supercropping a ton to really spread the plant out and I'll be throwing a trellis back up after they have a chance to reach.

Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! Let's Go!

During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

Day 106. AK is going to end, i start to see ambers. Will push 8 more days. Watered today, one more left and then chop. Sweet smell is everywhere from her, very nice ! Mars TSL2000 has far reds integrated, so i expect a bit more coat ;) Great light ! Happy Growing !!!

Getting a growth spurt on switched to flower mode on the 600w led, installed the extractor and carbon filter as it's getting to smell a little fruity even at this stage. Lite feed in this early stage with the listed nutes, seem to be responding well. 17/10 Defoliated today and made a CBD smoothie from the lower canopy with almonds, apple, lemon and lime, the leaves were very fresh, it was pretty nice. * ********* Week 3, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********** * So we have been chugging along and doing well. Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH??? They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage. Little more detail....... April 25/20 - Day 15 - Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH. - each girl given 0.5L feed. - humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65% - light heights at 30” roughly right now. - GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light. - GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider. April 26/20 - Day 16 - no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue? - mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L - GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt, - increased light intensity a bit today. April 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue. - cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier. - GSC has liked the increased lighting. - all the girls got clockwise rotation today. April 28/20 - Day 18 - Girl Scout girls given 3L watering with Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml = 100ppm and 5.1pH - runoff numbers: - GSC - 600ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 475ppm and 7.2pH - pH is still too high!!!! - leaf colours on all the girls look good😳 April 29/20 - Day 19 - more runoff numbers to look at - Mixed 8L for each girl with Dual Fual @ 1.75ml - 325ppm and 5.0pH........each girl given this amount!!!! - Run off numbers: - GSC - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 525ppm - GSC2 - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 500ppm - now we see if the flush will help in the next couple of days. April 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - stems are looking thicker today. All nodes are separating and they are growing.......slowly though. May 1/20 - Day 21 - dry out day again - need to let the pots dry out in order to adjust the pH further. - they are looking taller and happier today. Sorry for running behind gang. Always so much to stay on top of😀........

I harvested this plant about a week ago. Gd was suffering some update issues still, but appears to be resolved. The plant grew great. I am impressed with the results myself. Nice big colas of frosty goodness. She bounced around a bit in growing under different lights. The results were great. I was even running the flowering light lower since she stretched a little too close to it. That was probably my biggest issue during the grow. I am anxious to try it once I get it processed.
