Wow wow wow... Apollo what have you guys made at SweetSeeds... My dear this strain is a monster and a keeper. Do you want regular-sized plants and buds in 8 weeks? No problem! Do you want plants that can handle any condition even as a noob? Check! This beast of a strain is out of this world and I'm over the moon with the results. I can't believe it. Normally I've seen auto's do 30 cms and some buds on top... This is simply alien tech... I think I have never seen any plant grow that fast... This is something to try if you haven't already... Completely amazed... And this is while making all sorts of mistakes: too hot, soil also too hot in nutes and temp, hotspots in tent by lacking fans, less PH buffer. Stuff I learned: - In my climate: at least 20 liter grow pots, maybe bigger. - Add hydro corn, I forgot this - Less bloodmeal and bonemeal - More perma tea since mine is now too old to use, it will rot the earth. - More often more water, in smaller pots - Better ventilation and routing of fresh air. - Light a little higher also during flower. - No training is needed, a little defoliation is enough. I love Poundcake; I wish I'd discovered it earlier and grown it in an 18-liter pot right away. If I could have an autoflowering mother plant, I'd choose this phenotype. Girls are loving the light! I was bit worried with the smaller gal and leaves pointing up, but with no sign of light-stress or anything else negative I've taken it as a good sign and they are just thriving so yesssss! I'm prone to want to defoliate as I'm use to growing in a much smaller environment (5 gal bucket lol) but I've been good and have only snipped a handful of leaves that were either blocking other bud-sites or restricting airflow. I cannot wait to see what this harvest brings in, I'm hoping for 3-3.5 oz (85-99grams). Now that they are flowering nicely I'm no longer using Gro, just Micro+Bloom with some calmag and silicate. This is my biggest and healthiest plant I've ever had! I'm so incredibly amazed by Deepwater Culture that I'm thinking about not growing in the ground anymore and instead setting up 6 DWC systems in the tent. Tody i defoliate the plant :)

This is the final week of nutes for the ladies! Time to flush her for the coming week. Also read that Purple Punch needs cold temps at night to turn color. Since I can't do that where I live, an alternative is to flush her with ice water. Giving that a try and will keep you guys updated.

Day 50 Update: Looking great, feels back on track! Definitely a few more weeks to go, but really about the healthiest the plant has seemed to me since before vacation. Monitor and water for now. Going to check some growing guides to see what I might need to do over the last few weeks. I'll check back in most days this week with a whole plant and main cola shot. Otherwise, not much to do but watch and enjoy! Day 51 Update: Pics added, probably just dechlorinated tap tomorrow. Might get one more dose of Big Bloom, but otherwise, I think my soil might be hot enough to just go with mostly just water the rest of the way. There's a few lingering yellow leaves of little concern but still feels as healthy as it has been overall. Day 52 Update: Water tonight with a small dose of Big Bloom (0-.5-.7), half of recommendation so 20 ml in 1 Gal. Video shows some yellowing on lower leaves, feels too early in flowering, but I don't know. Still seems healthy otherwise. Day 53 Update: Left the light off while I was at work, so lost a few hours of light. Maybe a good thing because it was hot today and the tent was 78 degrees with the lights off. Anyway, things under control now. Yellowing didn't seem to get any worse so I think maybe Tiger Bloom Friday and only once more after that, something like days 55 & 61, then just water until harvest. My guesstimate is around Groundhog Day (day 71), but I've been reading about when to harvest, so I'll let the plant tell me when it's ready. Day 54 Update: Yellowing spread a bit too much for my liking at the stage its at because I know the under-watering set its schedule back a bit. The other plants got their first Tiger Bloom tonight and while this plant didn't need water, it got a little bit of that as well. Not much, .5 L maybe. Next water is up in the air because of that now. Some really nice reds/purples are starting to show at the bud sites! I went through all my pictures of this plant earlier tonight. My LST was pretty sorry on this, so I kind of really did just let this plant grow as it does. My other grow is still benefiting so learning is happening. Day 55 Update: Just a couple new pictures. Water Sunday probably on Day 57. Not much else to say. Day 56 Update: I will check if she needs water later tonight. The yellowing continues to spread, but a couple are going yellow to a red-purple hue so might be somewhat normal. Looking to other PPA diaries to see what weeks 8-10 might entail.

Leaves are starting to yellow / and pistils are burning - I believe I’ve overwatered them slightly trying to flush them the best I could with clean water - this or perhaps my last feeding was to high? The EC was 2.5 . But these signs were increasing for a few weeks . Let’s hope it clears up !
