Week 1 Flower Report: Anesia Pheno Hunt! Hello, wonderful Grow Diaries community! Welcome back to another exciting week of our Anesia pheno hunt. We've officially entered the flowering stage, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share the progress and updates with you all. Week 1 Flower Highlights: Transition to Flowering: Our Anesia ladies are making the exciting transition from veg to flower. The stretch is on, and they're reaching for the stars! This week, the plants have shown remarkable growth, with sturdy branches and lush foliage. Future#1, Zoomiez, Apricot Oreo, and the resilient Red Banana Pudding are all thriving beautifully. Nutrient Update: To support this critical phase, I’ve adjusted their nutrient regimen. Using the fantastic Aptus Holland range, I’ve started them on the flower mix, including Regulator, CaMg-Boost, TopBooster, and P-Boost. The All-in-One Pellets in the soil provide a solid nutrient base, so no need for the All-in-One Liquid. This powerful combo ensures they get all the essential nutrients for robust flowering. Environment Control: Maintaining optimal conditions is key. With the help of my Blue Lab Guardian monitor, I’ve kept the TDS at 420 and pH at 5.8, ensuring perfect balance for nutrient uptake. The Future of Grow LED lights continue to provide the ideal spectrum for vigorous growth and bloom. Topping and Training: Earlier, we topped the plants, and the results are showing! The plants have developed multiple strong colas, promising an abundant harvest. The water droplets after topping always bring a smile, signifying the plants’ health and vitality. After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

The week starts Monday, Dec-9 in vegetative stage. Started lowering the distance from the light to 45cm (18") over the coming week. The extraction fan on its lowest setting is too strong for the current growth environment so the humidity levels have been rather low (35% -> 50%). An attempt to stop/start the fan with 30min intervals caused both temp and humidity levels to swing wildly. The environment inside the tent is now stable, albeit low temp and humidity levels since the fan has been left to run continuously. Added a large tray of water with an aquarium heater warming it to raise the humidity level inside the grow tent. And added a large hanging wet towel. Both methods helped. The plant is recovering very well and stretching in its growth. The side branches are reaching out to the light. Starting to increase the frequency of fertigation to daily as the plant seems to be sucking up water/nutrients well. Run-off was measured at EC 0.94 and pH 6.2. Topping at 5th node - start of LBH’s Famous ScrOG Tutorial. Cut the stem above the 4th node. The topping should probably have been done a few days ago but I wanted to see the plant recover first.

The week went very well, the plant stretched for an additional 15cm and is now showing the first proper bud-sites. Had to change the nutrient solution after day 5, as the tank was almost empty. I increased the nutrients to a 1000 ppm, which caused a tiny amount of tip burn, so will not be increasing it next week. The second scrog net helps greatly spreading out the canopy, I will continue with a very light LST during the flower as well to guarantee maximum light exposure for all bud-sites. I am enjoying this grow very much, first time in a while for me to grow photos inside and I think I will continue growing photos, it seems they are a bit more forgiving and I feel that I can take the time to really let them fill the tent. On my previous grows I usually had 3 autos in there, which would always lead to issue in regards to some plants growing quicker than others. I have a very optimistic outlook in regards to harvest, which I will keep yo myself in order to not jinx it, but as you can see it looks promising. Thanks for reading. Until next week :)

First day of week three so topped today and gave them a half dose of Hesi TNT . Looking good so far so I'm happy. Light running at lowest setting.

Waited until the lil ladies showed the beggining of their 7th node, then topped them all back down to the 4th node

Plants are going great, top dressed and been watering with 1 gallon for all plants. No problems flowering great, couldn’t be easier.

I knew she wasn’t going to get very tall as they are height limited plants so I vegged her until she was as tall as she would get. I lollipped her to an 18” canopy depth in the third week of flower. She reacted very well and even broke my previous single plant harvest record of 434g set by one of my S1 Acid Dough plants!

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳

Last week of nutes before 2 week flush. buds have bulked out Nicely had to turn the fan speeds up so the humidity didn’t rise to high overnight. No signs of mold. Whiping tents with antiseptic whipes once and week and vacuuming round tent every few days.

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Day 29 – Holding Strong Indoors While Awaiting the Sun After two bright and sunny weeks, the UK weather has taken a turn—temperatures have dropped and grey skies have taken over. For the second day in a row, the plant has remained indoors on the windowsill, patiently waiting for the return of warm, sunny conditions. Despite the limited direct sunlight, the plant is showing steady vertical growth and structural development. The inter-nodal shoots are beginning to stretch confidently, and the canopy is broadening out with healthy fan leaves. It’s clear that the root zone is well-established, as no wilting signs appear and the medium remains nicely moist—no need to water for now. While it may seem like a temporary pause in outdoor activity, this rest indoors is helping the plant conserve energy and avoid potential stress from fluctuating cold and wet conditions. Once the weather stabilises again, it’ll be back to soaking up real sunshine. Observations: Location: Indoors (windowsill) due to cool outdoor temps Temperature: Noticeably lower; unsuitable for outdoor stay Soil: Moist, no watering needed Growth: Internodes extending, foliage thickening Patience remains key, and this CBD Auto 20:1 continues to impress with its resilience. Day 32 – Stretching Skyward with the Sun After a few overcast days indoors, the sun is back—and so is our CBD Auto 20:1, basking once again in full-spectrum natural light! The shift outdoors today was met with bright, clear skies and a lovely warm breeze. The plant is thriving in these ideal spring conditions, showing confident vertical growth and a strong central stem that’s gaining both height and girth. The leaf spread is wide and lush, with healthy serrated edges catching the sun from every angle. What stands out now are the multiple lower branches developing evenly—clear signs that this plant is preparing for the flowering transition in the near future. It’s rewarding to witness how much energy the plant can absorb on days like this. The outdoor environment clearly encourages a more upright and assertive growth posture compared to the last couple of indoor days under diffused windowsill light. Observations: Light: Full sun exposure, ~7 hours direct sunlight expected Development: Lower branches maturing, stem thickening, leaf canopy expanding Mood: Energised, reaching, vibrant We’re now well into the vegetative peak, and the structure is shaping up beautifully. Let’s hope this weather holds—it’s perfect for what comes next. Day 34 – First signs of flowering! We’ve entered a new chapter—today marks the visible appearance of pistils, signalling the official start of flowering! This beautiful CBD Auto 20:1 from 420FastBuds.com has been developing steadily, and it’s been an exciting journey transitioning it from indoor windowsill care to full outdoor exposure. Last night’s rain disrupted my plans to leave the plant outside overnight, but perhaps that was a blessing in disguise—timing and adaptation still matter. Today, however, the sun is back in full swing, delivering strong warmth and excellent light. The super soil is doing its job wonderfully, holding moisture and nutrients efficiently. The plant is clearly enjoying the rhythm of nature. Growth has stretched upwards significantly since the last few days, and side branches are expanding too. Unlike in a tent where watering might happen every 1–2 days, this outdoor grow has taught me the art of patience—watering is done only when the soil truly dries out, which depends on weather, sun, wind, and positioning. Day 35 – Settling Under the Open Sky This CBD Auto 20:1 lady has now officially begun spending her nights outside under the open sky. So far, I haven’t felt the need to cover her, and she’s handling the shifting weather conditions with impressive resilience. Some nights are slightly cooler, but the days bring back that familiar warmth – and she clearly loves it. Her structure is becoming more defined, with side branches now fully visible and stretching confidently towards the light. Since she’s grown outdoors from the beginning, the natural rhythm of sun and wind has made her strong, well-adapted, and noticeably more robust than my previous indoor tent grows. It’s truly fascinating how dynamic and engaging outdoor growing can be. There’s a deeper connection to the process – monitoring the skies, respecting nature’s timing, and witnessing each subtle change. Plus, it’s certainly a more economical setup! The pistils are now popping with greater clarity, signalling the transition into flowering. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch her shift gears and get ready for her next stage of development. My super soil continues to do all the heavy lifting – no feeding schedule, just pH-balanced water when the topsoil is dry, which depends entirely on whether she’s basking outside or sitting in the shade indoors. Massive thanks to 420FastBuds for this incredibly vigorous and well-adapted strain. She’s growing with confidence, and I can’t wait to see how she flowers under these natural conditions. This lady has some more uneven growth going on, it could be a strategic topping mistake from me. I don't know. Anyway I'm trying to fix it by topping some more and I'm gonna apply some lst strings to keep the two main branches a little more down👨‍🌾💚🌲.. Everything for that even canopy baby😎 So far still only water with sometimes adding some Aptus

Been abit lst with posting and both with the plants as I say first time grow me and pal ain’t got a scooby ran into few problems with nutes this week and rust spots showing on leaves after reading online have been feeding nutes once a week on a saturaday and watering 2 days after with 6.2 water n calmag 1ml per litre (in hindsight was feeding the nutes it said on back of bottle and ended up burning couple the plants )

Day 44 01/07/2025, I flushed with a quarter strength nutrient solution but kept with the usual does of cannazym and Rhizotonic as sure it could only help her, im experiencing some issues with yellowing and a few brown spots plus tip burn, I've never done an auto before and never considered that they might need less feed than a photoperiod, feel very stupid, so with that being considered I think it was probably for the best and will move forward with half strength feeds. I am also actually trying to get the night cycle in check as I've been advised of some processes that won't happen with the low VPD that I was allowing to happen at night, the dehumidifier works but also heats the room up to nearly daytime temps, it's a desiccant dehumidifier though and I think it just pumps out more heat, I'll have to reinvest in a more suitable dehumidifier Maybe the issue is too much calmag, it also has iron in it and an iron excess can cause a manganese deficiency, unsure.. I have had some heat issues over the last week hit 30c for a short time and has been consistently over 28c, I have kept the humidity higher to keep vpd in line but it's not great, this is just due to some very warm conditions in my area over the last week or so, and I just don't have the cooling capacity to deal with it, hoping things cool down a bit now so I can at least make sure temperature is ok..
