Week 5 — Even Canopy, Big Potential Probably one of the best development I've seen from an automatic so far, really stoked with how she's coming along. The training has paid off, the canopy is sitting almost perfectly level across the whole plant. She took every bend and tuck without skipping a beat. Today I did a light trim, removed the lower branches that were never going to see real light and cleaned up a few leaves to improve airflow. Nothing heavy, just redirecting her energy to where it counts. Also gave her a small first dose of Plagron Green Sensation. Keeping it on the low end though, I'm running an organic soil setup and I dont want to stress the microbiology in there. Just a gentle support going into the stretch, not a push. The canopy is honestly begging for a SCROG net right now, it would fill one perfectly. I'm still on the fence though, mainly because I like being able to rotate the pot freely while watering. A net would kill that flexibility. Might regret it later, might not, we'll see. Either way, the structure is there. Can't wait to watch her explode over the next few weeks. 🌿

Well she is putting on the height and buds have been forming up nicely ... Good to see some buds again in my tent been to long . The smell is fruity to me and she shows no signs of slowing yet lol those bottom branches are reaching up as well. I love resilience of these plants she takes transplanting well and ph issues all my fault ... I'm still learning but getting better every week and so will she ... I always put them with a baggie over the cup to hold humidity. Works wonderfully. You should try it.

Well we thought something was wrong with our white widow being that from one day to the other she was crooked and looking Ill.. so we cut her way before time.. BUT (bud hehe) after closer inspection it was a block of in the autopot.. so she prolly could have bounced back..

WEEK 5 I think this is the week we'll see them take off :) DAY 29 - Plants are starting to show sex, removed 2 Urkle Mints males, the other two are females, the rest are fems so we're down to 13 female plants total with only a single weakling DAY 29 - Watering 8L with 50ml Vega (shouldn't have been later than today!) DAY 33 - plants exploded over the last 4 days and most are stretching and starting to flower DAY 33 - Watering 10L with 60ml Vega (feeding Vega once or twice more then we switch to Flora) DAY 35 - Just cruisin' 😎 WEEK 6 Lots of stretch the past week, flowers are setting in, the laggy Iced Out was culled, 3 plants are a bit behind the others.. DAY 36 - Watering 10L with 50ml Vega DAY 39 - Watering 10L with 50ml Vega DAY 42 - Defoliation WEEK 7 DAY 44 - Watering 10L with 50ml Vega DAY 47 - Switching to flowering nutes - Watering 10L with 50ml Flores WEEK 8 HAa to break the stem on the stretchy Sugar Cane to keep it low enough DAY 51 - Watering 10L with 60ml Flores DAY 54 - Watering 10L with 60ml Flores

Start of week 3 Update 2/27: they have been fed with a dose that was cut in half (fox farm dirty dozen)

The CBD and SAD seem to be finishing a bit quicker than the other 2, they might be ready in a week or two. I will probably drop the EC next time I fill the tank. Some of the branches with heavier top buds were starting to hang and get too close to other buds, so I used some garden wire to fasten them to the tent poles, which can be seen in the video between the 13th and 14th. Pretty uneventful week otherwise.

it's been 3 weeks already, the girl is short, and I performed a major ring cut on her:) this will be my first such growth, I want to see something different :) overall, the girl looks healthy:) I think she will be really great :) as long as she hasn't received the main ones nutrients, but I will introduce her to them in the next watering - she will like it :) good luck to everyone :)!

She was transplanted into her final home (18 gallon), we added extra EWC to her new Promix..she's still having some nutrient uptake issues (definitely getting enough to eat)..we decided to drop her PH to 5.0 to see if this helps and we decided to hold off on flowering her until her color looks a little better... we gave a small dose of bloom, we like to do this 1-2 weeks before the start of flower with all our plants.. thanks for reading, happy growing 😻

#WEEK 14 — HEAVY CUT Well, well well. Id recommend a bigger tent for these kind of Experiments, 70x70cm too smallz for even two plants, it seems. Finally, i hope they reached their almost final height and so i had the courage to ✂️. A Bit Late, i think. I had sticky Fingers after 🙄. And so, so many leaves and light-green/-yellowish, very long shoots - what a waste. I think it took 60-90 minutes for both plant, and do they look rough now. Hope they will recover soon. Because then, i suppose, i will have a fine sea of sweet colas. But Finally enough room for airflow, enough exposure to light, and for the view of the massive stems. 😍 Some shoots broke out, canopy is Not very even at the Moment. I guess that will Make it possible to chop these parts first later. Also looks like Slush Mint Cake is about to purple (bottom side of some leaves). However, temperatures starting to rise outside, so we will see (the saying is cold temperatures trigger the purple colors, no?). Smell: there‘s something, but still very faint, not very distinct and rather weird / not so tempting (thats how i would put it) at the moment (yet). According to a lot of other diaries Slush will become very massive - fingers crossed. Make a wish: tents that Open on the backside or both adjacent outer sides as well. Was a slog / grind / drudgery that way.

Lots of smells have become their own... The fried banana has this crazy skunk smell with a real earth dirt smell once the skunk fades... The orange cake NO kidding, smells like a fresh peeled orange and some kind of batter smell... It's nuts... The big Z has the immediate Skittles blast with a earthy afternote... And the paint is just like the last one and smells real chemical like! When u say the name it makes u smell the paint... Is that just me???? Hahaha anyways... Thats what I got .. everything is going amazing and for day 37 I think they've filled out real nice... Now hopefully they fatten up in the next 20-30 days!!!!

Today the Blue Cheese Pheno 1 became the first time rinsed, and now only gets 0.4 Ec water for the next 10 days ca :-). Everyone else needs a while. otherwise there is not much to report this week. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week.
