START WEEK 03/29/22
+Started with some Medium Defoliation this week. Sort of spooky. The girls don't enjoy being jacked around. However, they seemed to have recovered nicely. I'm relieved.
+Saw some real stretch the past week, beginning to form buds, pretty amazing and fun to watch the girls grow!
+I do realize my plants are different sizes because of experimentation. Not a good idea in practice but great learning. 2 plants have been ScrOG, topped, fimmed, supercrop, you name it. 1 plant just fimmed and 1 plant untouched. The results speak for themselves. 2 plants really wind up being trellised and natural. I hope I can make some decent and consistent buds to make "sort of" final comparison.
+bumped ppm to 1200
+beginning to smell VERY strong.
+I will do some leaf picking (not enough to consider defoliation) this week just to expose a few more sites. These plants have been extremely bushy and a challenge for a Newbie like me.
+Basically, I am just letting the plants do their thing.

THANKS FOR THE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTION LOTS OF HELP. BASICALLY, THE SAME CONCEPT. PROBABLY DIDN'T DO ENOUGH DEFOLIATION BUT IT GETS A BIT SCAREY (WHEN EVERYTHING DROOPS) AND I DO SORT OF SUBSCRIBE TO "LESS IS MORE" . May be incorrect but at least on this 1st grow it will probable be my practice.

?Should I? Can I? supplement red spectrum light? I have the ability just don't know if it is necessary. Also, might just be curious to see how my newly purchased light flowers. It's claims to be full spectrum?
?Do I need any additional boosters or additives? They appear to veg very well but I would like to make sure they get what they need to flower.
?Should I be popping seed for my next grow? Gotta get me a nice dedicated Veg light. Or maybe try autos?

I harvested Whiskey Zulu at 75 days, it smells amazing and isn't building anymore.
It's a really light and airy structure but smells like a super funky sour grandaddy purple.
I quick dried and smoked some lowers and the flavor reminds me of GDP x Amherst Sour Diesel × an earthy og (with a slight note of northern lights.) Fantastic flavor and potency. It's like I'm smoking multiple buds at the same time—it's so complex.
Makes me want to find and breed this pheno to get this flavor on a bigger plant with a decently dense bud structure.
The flavor profile is nothing like anybody online said about it that I could find. Serious stuff for a freebie

02.10.2022 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱

ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand
The plants tolerate the nutrients well, some of the lower leaves showed slight signs of burning, they turned a little yellow and the tips of the leaves were brown 🍃🍃
Therefore, I will continue to use only one Bud Stimulator and that - Jungle Indabox Environ X, I will leave Big Bud from Advanced Nutrientiens for other plants.
Training:
Defoliation: I still remove the large and lower leaves so that they do not shade themselves 🌞🌞
I'm not planning a bigger defoliation until next week, the girls are a little leafy, but not enough to need more trimming 🌴🌴
General: The girl is already blooming strongly, dense buds are forming 🌸🌸, the branches reach the same height, exactly as I wanted 👍 At the moment it has more leaves than I would like, but I will do more defoliation later, as I wrote 🍃
I will adjust the nutrients from the next watering, I will leave the only bud stimulator 🏵️

Northern lights has been doing great. She has started to show maturity signs in last few days. I did the video on it for the week. She was moved into the small Spider Farmer tent I have under the SE3000. I will veg her for about a week, and let her get use to any spectrum changes. I will likely flip her to flowering next update if she has little to no issues. I feed her about once a week. She get water almost daily as she has been drinking a lot. I still have not had run off during watering. I have fed super light as more of a supplement to the soil when I have given feed. On her next feed I will aim for run off. As I wish to test it for ph and the tds. I already know I have a little salt build up, but it has not become a major issue yet with light feeds. Everything is looking great and hopefully continues. growing chem pie was amazing from start to finish, he made beautiful buds covered in resin. Every day it was wonderful to go and see how it blooms.
during cultivation I came across two completely different phenotypes. One had rather more open but very firm buds, but the other was more like a crossbow and also firm buds.
During drying, a little mold appeared on one of the bud, but otherwise everything is fine. after a month of curing, the taste of the smoke was very pronounced.

What a champ! She didn't even blink an eye at the massive defoliation I did... she's eating and drinking and going to give me a pretty good harvest I think. Just amazing! Going to bump up the EC today to 1.2 and keep it there for the rest of her run... Honestly, I'm so impressed with this little lady, I can hardly believe her... and to think there were so many times I was going to throw in the towel and start over... I'm glad she wasn't able to read my thoughts!
10/27 - She continues to humble me... her persistence makes me ashamed of my earlier pessimism... each bud site is stacking - there will be few, if any small single buds (not talking "popcorn" but rather decent sized but still single buds)... She's plowing through the water and the nutes .... I've got the lights up as high as they can go unless I end up having to rest them on top of the top crossbars of the tent (which I may have to do!). I may try to eliminate or at least mitigate that problem with some creative LST efforts... she won't mind... she hasn't really minded anything I've done.. Also going to do a little bit more defoliation today...
10/28 - EC and pH are both nice and stable... she's gone through about 1/2 gallon since yesterday so will top up the reservoir. Didn't get the defoliation done yesterday.. heading in to do it NOW! :-D
10/31 - Haven't been terribly attentive to this part of the diary - but there's been little to say! She's doing really well, drinking a lot and handling a LOT of defoliation like a champ... And tomorrow, she turns 8 weeks old... I'm thinking she's going to run for another 5 weeks or so... Buds are rather slow growing at this moment in time but again, I'm not worried about her at all ...

Went away for seven days had a friend come by and water the garden
Absolutely exploded since I’ve seen them last very pleased with all of the plants except for mystery auto number one. It is disappointing me some but hopefully the top will bring more growth.
Can’t wait to see these continued to develop!!!

Día 1 clones ya enraizados listos para transplante a recipiente de mayor tamaño 0.5L aprox.
Transplante realizado con la incorporación de micorrizas de la marca micoroot además de rizothonic de canna, esperando el enraizamiento completo del recipiente para transplantar a maceta de 20l.
Día 3 se transplanto desde los vasos a la maceta definitiva de 20L para ambos clones de tangie y se instaló malla scrog Kanovi.

Hey folks and welcome to my 2021 outdoor grow diary! I hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts and see how these ladies will end up by october!
Just to break down this years grow, I will be trying new grow techniques, as last year my plants turned out like bonsais, as always, organic grow using Promix HP and Gaia Green Organic Amendments, and watering with a mixture of molasses to feed the soil microbes.
So my pops got his hands on some "local growers" clones of Kings Kush cash crop, apparently it is an 80/20 Indica hybrid with a THC average of 14-23%, the smell is suppose to be like musky, peppery Kush and taste the same according to the guy that sold him the clones. Tho, I wouldn't rely on the sellers credibility, all I know is that the strain is mold resistant which is a must in the GTA and is a strong plant and has been doing well for my pops indoor grow so far. I will keep you guys updated on how his batch turns out.
So I got 4 of these clones ready by May 16th and transplanted them from a 1 gal to its final 15 gal fabric pots.
With that, I used Promix HP and amended the 15 gal with 2 cups of Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 with approximately 1 cup of Gaia green power bloom and mixed well into each 15 gal pot. (About 70/30 ratio @4tbs/gal of the mixture)
After the transplant was completed, I started to water the plants with dechlorinated tap water pHed to 6.5 and gave each pot about 0.5gal each of water.
My plans for the next watering is to introduce blackstrap molasses at 1tbs/gal of water to start supercharging the dormant microbes in the soil!
I also have to add yellow sticky strips to keep an eye on pests such as fungus gnats and spray neem oil as a PM in the soil and plant.

Continuing flush. Planning on harvest this week. Started the flush a bit early on the CBD and probably should have chopped a week ago, but lesson learned. Both plants have a bit of yellowing on the sugar leaves and the tops of the buds (especially the CBD feel a bit crisp and are browning. Hopefully won't affect much other than appearance since this is just for personal use anyway!
Will update soon with the harvest details once the initial drying is done.

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99
08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots.
[General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

Week 10,
Week 10 has been fun. The buds are becoming denser and starting to almost look like a finished product. I am planning on harvesting the plant the first week of next month, so three weeks or so and counting!
I am adjusting the tie downs twice a week trying to get the buds as much sunlight as possible.
I am watering every 3 days with 6.0 ph water. I have been putting a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water with a tablespoon of molasses mixed in but it appears she received a little nutrient burn. I'm not to worried about it because I wanted to make sure the flower sites received enough nutrients to make some dense dank buds. It isn't a huge burn but a little. As a result I started mixing only half a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water to make sure any future burn doesn't happen.
I am excited about the plant, she is starting to look like a thiccy ha I am probably going to starting flushing in three weeks.

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well.
Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem.
Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week.
Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes.
Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim.
Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself.

Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!
