So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

Plants are doing great. One more week of nutes and then ill start a 2week flush.

Hello grower, Growing continue:) She's biggest and more and more sweet, I can't wait to try it 😅. Harvest is probably in 4/6 week so need to be patient. Day 94 - 13/07/2023 Start of 8th Week of Flower and FLUSH Day 95 - Buds are starting to have that final golden color, harvest really is arriving. I could harvest now but i want to flush this plant properly. Today it started to rain and buds are all wet. When it stops raining i´ll check the plant and shake it to remove water. The plant love it but humidity is really high here and mold can forms even when it´s not raining. I´ll check trichomes when possible aswell. Day 96 - Today rained in the morning, but after midday sun started to shine. Had some minor mold problems which i removed immediately, but nothing really to worry , this strain is tough aswell. I checked trichomes, i already have some amber but i think i saw some clear ones here and there. My instinct is telling me to harvest now, but my experience wants to flush this plant properly. I think i should have started to flush earlier, but i did not regret as i want to try out and let a plant really mature. After all im am not that experienced. Day 97 - Today the pot was already kind of dry so i watered her to help the flushing process and i think this will be the last watering. Day 99 - Here i just think i took some really cool pictures, for me at least! 😄 I´ll let the soil dry well so i can harvest with less humidity possible

Por lejos este ha sido mi mejor cultivo hasta ahora, han sido los cogollos más grandes, densos y llenos de tricomas que he cultivado, comparado con el cultivo anterior en el que usé el mismo tipo de planta, está vez fue muy superior. Los motivos de la mejora pueden ser varios, incluidos más luz, ya que en el cultivo anterior solo tuve 480w, ahora fueron 720w, también usé tutores y palitos de madera para crear una estructura firme en algunas plantas, y fueron estás mismas las que tuvieron los cogollos más grandes, así que lo usaré en todas las plantas del siguiente cultivo. Además el tiempo de cultivo se redujo de 4 meses a 3 meses y medio, aprox. Ahora solo queda esperar unas 2 semanas para el secado y ver cuánto fue la cosecha total en gramos secos, la anterior fue de 635 gramos secos, está yo creo que por lo menos rondará los 700 gramos secos, incluso puede que me sorprenda y sea mucho más.

Semana de bastante crecimiento. No se ha estirado mucho, pero han salido muchos brotes nuevos y hojas bastante grandes. Todo va viento en popa y a toda vela. No he detectado ningún síntoma de estrés. Cada dos días las giro 180º y subo 2 cm. el foco. También le aplico riego foliar cada tres días y le sienta muy bien, es una cepa que admite bastante bien los excesos. Han comenzado ha aparecer los primeros pistilos. Preparándola ya para la floración para la semana que viene. No se lo pierdan.😉
