This should be up to week 2-3 of flower, where the Mimosa x Orange Punch, which had the earlier Mutation, started herming on the mutated part, which i noticed a bit too late and it pollinated some of the other buds, i cut all of the affected bud sites of, in the end the furthest away runtz got pollinated but the others luckily barley did and only had like 5-10 seeds in total.

Got these transplanted to the rain science 3 gal bags and moved to a 4x4 in the basement where it's a little better environment in terms of vpd. I had a full bag of roots organic soil so I decided to do a soil/coco blend like I did with the current autoflower crop. I also topped every single one of em mid week. Once I get the flower tent all cleaned out and everything I'll be throwing these in there for bloom. Hoping this will be an even better grow than the last since I have both my arms back. I'm doing the update a little early since I was late on it last week, today (tuesday 9.10.19) is day 43 from germination and about day 39 from full sprout. Before this week they were under only about 185w in a 4x4 area so it's been slow growth so far. These are doing solid, some are a little small and bushy like the purple candy paint and the rocstar breath but not that they have some room to grow maybe theyll pick it up.

loved growing this girl didn't need to tend to her much she does like to drink but other than that grew with no issues she has a good stretch and branches out well has an excellent bud to leaf ratio with more buds than leaves I was excited about this as I'd heard great stuff and she definitely lives up to the reputation thanks to all who help comment and make the site what it is thanks for reading happy growing guys

These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. As you can see, she is getting thicker as days go by! Looking to harvest her in 2 weeks! Minor light burn on the top cola, but other then that no deficiencies at all.

I looked at the trichomes every 2 days this week. There are still some clear ones but they look cloudy overall. The OG Kush begins to have many amber ones. I started to flush too soon and the plants are now struggling a bit. I will harvest everything next week! The final grow area is around 1,1m x 1,1m.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.
