November 6, 2021 The Quick Critical is taking off!!! I started feeding some nutrients this week and she really seemed to like it. I could flip her to flower now, but I'm going to wait another 1-2 weeks so the other two ladies can veg longer (and to give the autos a chance to finish). Critical Sour looks like she is ready to start rocking, I expect to see significant growth this upcoming week. CBD Medi Kush is finally starting to look like a cannabis plant! I have no idea what caused the delayed growth in the initial couple of weeks, but she's seems on track now. Lots of good growth in the past couple of days. This morning when looking at her closely I noticed she is growing two stems. This is going to be fun to watch how she develops. I just hope she doesn't herm out later. Neither of the two Dr Bruce Banner seeds nor the one CBD Lemon Aid seed I tried planting ever popped. This is now a 3 plant diary.

Just this one girl is ready. Not too hard of a grow. Some powdery mildew towards the end but not too bad. The amount of trichomes is amazing. It was to the point I thought it was PM on some of the fan leaves. The smell was great. A definite grape smell and some fruity fuel as well. They can take a bit of a beating. I had a huge ph issue for weeks and they kept going along. I can't imagine if it was a flawless grow. These buds seem very dense. It was deceivingly heavy when i chopped her down. Will update with weight and the rest of the harvest. If you haven't you should grow this!

Day 84 (day 21 flower): Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back. Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation). Day 86 (day 23 flower): They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470). Day 87 (day 24 flower): Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c. Day 89 (day 26 flower): Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor. --> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 The end of next week we'll be getting close to her wrapping up with the 'Finish Line' approaching by Week 10, but it will all depend on when she tells me that she's ready to go! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we're going into that last 3 +/- weeks for this 'Frost Queen' and she's looking like a Rock Star covered in bling! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Day 21 Veg: Hi all. Hope we are all free and healthy in the grow diaries community this week. It has been a very enjoyable and productive week this week. The purple monkey are gaining a nice size and taking to training really well. Their bases are getting thicker and i am now seeing small white female hairs at their bracts. I think flowering is very close now on these ladies. All three are looking very healthy and green with no signs of any issues to worry about so far. They are all reaching the pots edges with their side branches now so should make a decent sized canopy and bush after the stretch has finished. I did strip lower, small tips out too so that air can reach all of their budsites from underneath too. Banana Mash is a little behind the monkey so far and has no real gender signs yet. The mutant is growing out a little better now but is still looking odd. I have included 3 seeds that came from my last exotic run and where in some of thenbuds that I harvested. I suspect a lemon mimosa xhicked some pollen before I took her/he down and it hit all of the strains except 1. I now have about 100 seeds crossed with the mimosa lemon amd have kept each seed batch separate so I can have some idea of at least the mothers genetics if mimosa isn't daddy !!. They are also doing really well with the Mango cream X being the best looking so far. be interesting to see if they remain autos of just keep growing as photoperiod. I am adding the Megacrop to feeds now as I approach flowering and plan to germinate the next exotic goodies to join the second harvest. ( to follow...) They are all being trained now amd have taken to the idea quite well. I did have a snap on one of the Purple monkey ladies but tape should rescue the buds on that limb hopefully. So there we have it , another good week with plenty to do and the next week should hopefully see the start of some flowering stretch to wrestle with as they explode with growth. lol be well growmies.

Day 56 - She grew 9cm this week. She is a large plant, very bushy. Lots of flower sites forming. Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.

Week four progressed well. She handles the LST like a champ and bounced back from the light defoliation that was necessary to reap the full benefits of her training. This is definitely a hardy strain. Not minding the 90F temps at all. Had to treat her with some light spinosad spray to do a bit of insect control. Won't be able to for much longer once she starts with budset. She smells already, a very deep and classic skunk scent and not a preflower to be seen. She's going to be a strong scented lady by week 8 or 9, I can tell already. Gave another dose of Fish Mix + Grow + Recharge for the week. She seems to love it. Not much else to report for now. Como estáis fumetillas, yo estoy flipando, y es que las flores de estas skunks son como rocas, y no solo lo compactas que están si no que están bastante tricomadas, las 3 a cada cual más , lavamos las raíces y ya estarán solo agua, dejemos que termine de florecer y madurar, tampoco hay prisa, ph controlado temperatura ideal, bajamos algo más la humedad, puede que tengamos que tuitear alguna pero estoy evitándolo, se irá viendo estos días, ya nos veremos esta semana que viene un saludo familia y buenos humos.

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.
