Start of week 5 (day 1) 8/20/25 Flushed with sledgehammer: 5/21/25

Was a little bit challenging for me, due to the outdated nutrients table, mostly on the Flowering period, also little thing like i have to fill more the pots, also with this kind a strain and also with cuts instead of seeds, may be is better to don't do the topping and don't loose time and energy on the vegetative period. At the same time, more or less about the 8th week of flowering it starts to appear something like Alternalia or Overfeed of Phosphor still don't sure. All this issues have impact the grow in terms of the size of the branches and the whole plant, the size of the buds and the hardness. In strictly terms about the strain, the quality is out of mind, amount of resin is crazy, just have to improve my skills and get bigger crops

Hopefully only two more weeks to let her flower. Keeping an eye out for the color change. Everything seems to be bulking up as we speak.

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

Day 14: Still not much sun this week or higher temperatures. Therefore my plants don't grow faster and thicker. Just bit by bit. Also because of the lower temperatures, my medium doesn't dry up and the roots don't drink that much, so I can't water them often. If I would water them everyday or once per 2 days, they will get soaked, roots will rot and the plant will turn lightgreen and stop growing. I gues the same climate temperature will continu for another 2 weeks, meaning that my plants won't veg into maximum size before going into flowering. Let see how it goes and hopefully i'm mistaken. Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.

She‘s doing okay. Buds are building pretty nicely. Top leaves are yellowing just a bit.

Día 15 se realiza transplantes de 1 a 5 lts . Esta semana se comienza con riegos vegetativos.

Excelente experiencia, volvería a cultivarla nuevamente.

Week 6 use kale and lettuce juice with

Fimmed the mothers and accidently topped an Auto because I wasn't paying attention. No big deal, all plants super healthy and growing strong

Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

Finally, harvest was 3 weeks flushing without nuts am trying to test something I will see soon. Btw can't wait to smoke it 😎

Beginning 3rd week of flowering

11/17 removed nutrients from water, plant will be ready to harvest in a week or so, I'll be doing the flush until harvest. Buds did turn to a more noticeable purple, pistols are orange and shrinking. I have noticed a few trichomes starting to turn amber. I'm excited to see harvest dry weight, buds are very large.
