Day 42, everything is chuggin along pretty healthy. Definitely some seeds in most of them which bugs me. The whole tent reeks tho which is nice. Some of the citradellics look like they are gettin pretty close so I'll start keeping an eye on them. I had to take the pics again and was strugglin so they arent my best. I have to go thru them still so I got the video up and tmm or as soon as possible I'll get the still shots up✌️ 1 is seeded but healthy, havnt really smelled it but its sticky af. The plant has a beautiful structure but the buds are kinda ugly lookin despite the pink pistils. 2 is tryin to make it's way it's got some hideous lookin leaves but they are kinda cool in person they are the thickest leaves I've ever seen and the stems of the actual leaves are thick and almost perfect rectangles.

Day 43! I’m so happy how well they are doing as my first growth ever. A lot of research is key 🔑 lol Day 44! In the last 2 days I don't know what happened but they jumped 1.5"-2" in height. CRAZY Also started to defóliate more as I approach week 8 Dat 45 Readjusted the lights, since they’ve grown so much since I messed with them. Day 46! The video speaks for it self 🤗🤗 Day 47! 2 more days than switching to 12-12 schedule Day 48! Couldn’t be patient and started 2 days earlier the 12-12 schedule, since they looked ready, and....... she grew from 15” to 18.5”! Day 49! This concludes this week 🔥🌱😌

🗓️ WEEK 2 / DAYS 8-14 (flo) 💧 To tackle this week, I've increased the EC to 1.8, PH is nicely oscillating between 5.9 and 6.1. Her thirst is definitely increasing, as she's now drinking about 2.5 LT/day. 🌱 As early as day 10 of flowering she was already clearly showing preflowers – much earlier than any other photoperiod strains I've grown before, I'm really impressed! The plant seems to have undergone a complete metamorphosis and has become absolutely beautiful; you can really see it in the video I took on day 14 flo. Around mid-week, I did another round of defoliation – nothing too extreme, but it was necessary to improve air circulation and expose more of those preflower sites to the light. In terms of stretching, she shot up from 29 cm to 42 cm this week!

Day 58 Stigma are coming out all over the place and you can see everything filling out really nice. Royal Kush is still a bit behind, but that is likely why she is the tallest of them all. With the pollen I collected from the Sour Diesel, I want to pollinate the Kush. Day 59 I decided not to start the pollination as I was going to spray with a slightly stronger concentration of Bioneem Oil. The aphids will not let up so I'm trying to increase the strength. Day 63 There are still aphids and I'm starting to think this Bioneem Oil is actually snake oil. I've held off on watering as the medium holds water so well. I'm going to have to rework my watering amounts.

The plant was watered once with 1 litre of water with Bio Enhancer from GHF. I forgot to put the greenhouse lid back on the plant in the middle of the first week and the little one got burnt. Nevertheless, it continues to grow well and recovered very quickly after the cover was put back on. The plant does not yet smell.

Things are looking very nice! I’ve top dressed and defoliated here and there. Lots of frost coming in as things are starting to stack and take shape.

deluxe slurbet are frosting up nicely and drinking about 2-2.3L of water every 2-2.5 days. The GSC are drinking 1/2 that amount and are showing major signs of what I assume to be cal/mag deficiency. I dished out a lot of cash to go with a more “organic” calcium source with Herculean Harvest (1/2 cost was shipping to Canada) but it doesn’t seem to be cutting it. Maybe the issue is Mg. Maybe it’s a disease … as these gsc always seem to have issues.. not sure Fed both cultivars cal mag at day 33

Watermelon Autoflower is growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 in the Gen1:11 nutrition. She is doing a lot of stretching. I lollipopped the plant and defoliated her some. She also got a solution change a few days ago. Everything is looking good. Growing well this week!

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

However, I had to reset my watering system due to an error, which involved removing the mulch layer. Since then, I've been closely monitoring to ensure the watering remains consistent. Watering and Control Systems After resetting the watering system due to an error, everything seems to be back on track. I'm observing the system closely to ensure its consistent performance. Challenges This week, the defoliation process has been particularly challenging, even though it usually goes smoothly. There are just too many fan leaves with trichomes this time. Goals and Expectations I am curious to see how the plants will continue to develop over the next two weeks, as this period will give me a good indication of what to expect at harvest. The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #6 Transplanted the plants into their final pots (18l). Last week feeding was a bit too light, some plants started to move their Nitrogen, their bottom leaves turned light green/ slightly yellow. But the problem has been solved in 3 days after transplanting and watering with some nootz. Adding some more light. The Mars-Hydro SP250 has done an excellent job on its own during 5 weeks but it’s time to give some more light coverage to grow bigger plants, by switching on an MH light under a wing reflector. Using Cellmax Product-X* into their BIO Soil with some BIO 8-2-2 and some RootBooster makes this crop a 100% bio organic growth. *Using 0.7gr / plants in the transplanting hole in contact with the roots (and not 1ml/1l). (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)
