So week 10!we have a 9 day heat wave on our hands so things are getting tricky i guess.lets see what happens! Its hot over here with temps of 34 degrees Celsius!After a nearly sunless month we have a heatwave that will last for 6 more days.Checking for water 2 times a Day. Cheers!

Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Week 6 / flowering Everything is looking good so far. The plants are stacking weight nicely and there are no major nutrient lockout issues at the moment. The next couple of weeks will be all about keeping things balanced and not pushing them too hard before flush week.There was a minor heat-stress burn during a temperature spike, but it’s under control now. The purple colors from the genetics are starting to come through on some phenos, which is great to see. Was soll man sagen? Es waldet quasi. Alle Damen haben gut zugelegt und gehen nun sichtbar in die Blüte. Scheinbar mache ich nicht allzuviel falsch. Zwischendurch noch was defoliert, aber sieht man auch schon wieder fast nichts von. Es duftet zunehmend im Zelt und selbst die Chili zeigen Knospen. Wow. Love it. Videomitschnitt der letzten Woche wie immer am Ende. Es. Sind in der hinteren Reihe ca 13cm Wachstum. Nice Nochmal ordentlich entlaubt, so alles was kein/kaum Licht kriegt oder zuviel Schatten gibt

She started growing new nodes and I started raising the feed on nutrients and kept the ph at 6.5-6.6. She looks like she’s ready to flower soon. Started giving a little bit of a smell like citrusy.

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Not much to report this week. Going well, 4 more male growths. These girls are on autopilot for the next 4 or 5 weeks. Finally done the last big defoliation. I am happy with the amount of tips, I dont mind sacrificing a little size and quality for a potentially much larger yeild. No real stretch to be seen, I guess the scrog is to blame for that. A side note, I may have a little bit of a micro nutrient deficiency, iron in particular. I know this is rare but I did miss the iron last week, long story. Its presenting from the top down with choloris near the leaf base moving outwards. I also think I have a slight k abundance at this stage but the plant should take care of that as it begins to demand more.

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Oct 3rd, - start of week 9 in flower; Panama Red, Honduras x Panama get a visit and a feeding tomorrow - (ford) Pink Kush (Bahia black head) get a visit and phood tonight as well. (Bahia Black Head is being Flushed this week, no food) - Alaskan Purple is simply putting on a Huge display after being so quiet all year long. Pictured bottom branch is over 9’ long… 4th - applied the Milk treatment as planned. White Powdery Mildew has been knocked out on this plant; Alaskan Purple. Its also completely stalled Mildew on two other grows. (2-part Milk / 3-part Water. 3.25% fat content is what the Gardener references used for hard vegetables: 7-10 days as req’d 5th - fed Panama Red and Honduras x Panama. (Black Tuna gets Chopped Sunday) 6th *** its a great story, and I’ll keep it short here. - LEGACYMARKETFARM gave me an opportunity earlier this year, and I want to give a shout out to them so people can see the High-Level that they are working-on. Andrew bought some seeds at auction that were created and bred by a Famous and Notorious grower; Charles Scott. aka the original Reeferman. Andrew provided me with a wonderful palette of seeds to work with, as I adopted many of his growing targets and patterns into my own efforts this year. One of the Seeds I could only shake my head at; “TOM FORD Pink Kush x Vanilla Frosting” wtf is this was probably really close to a direct quote. There was Nothing online beyond Pink Kush… and One of the seeds was Germinated. Here we are 6 month’s later, I’m planning a harvest, and looking up tentative flowering times, and Lo and behold, the exact Seed I am growing, is now on-sale from Reefermans former employer: Old School Breeders Association. The exact Strain… Kinda freaks me out that I’m at the head of the Line, but there was lots of useful info on the site, and she stays outside for another week or two now thats for sure… Please help me celebrate this great discovery of info, and give Old School Breeders a Look, they have some amazing Genetics at work there. I’ve reviewed their Black Willie, thats why there is a second one growing outside right now! Hey guys ! What a blast ! 10 days drying at 55-60% RH and 15-18°c. 45gr/plant. 3 plants, 2 differents phenos 1 pheno is realy Kushy, with specials notes that remind me some sort of GMO terps, with no real notes of permanent marker. The second one definitly have permanent in it, smells realy special, like medical products. Thing smoke realy nice, realy terpy

Day 14 of flower, starting to bud up.

Hey guys, The things I did in this week. Shamans: - 6th week of flowering - PH 6.3-6.4 - EC 1.7 As you can see I did a mayor defoliation on the Shamans, this was necessary because this week and in the comming weeks there was/will be many rainy days. Therefore the risk of bud rot increases when having alot of leaves and not a propher airflow. I switched spots between the two shamans and turned them 180 degrees so I won't get undeveloped buds on the other sides of the plants. Done this many times before but forgot to mention. Lollipopped them and got rid of some weaker branches. Critical Kushes: - 2th week of flowering - PH 6.3-6.4 - EC 1.3-1.5 - Lollipopping - Minor defoliation All the plants had been sprayed with Canna Cure.

160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

Scrooge has bounced back after the trim, looking much improved. It's also showing more active feeding. I've started watering it separately and keeping a close eye on its progress. 🌿💧 Keep up the good work!
