Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

🌸 Week 3 Flower – The Jungle Takes Over The girls are now towering at 1.20 m, turning our tent into a proper green jungle. Both phenotypes are thriving with thick stalks, lush foliage, and a dense network of branches promising a spectacular flower set. This week was all about control and balance. ✂️ Defoliation & Growth Management Although these plants have been allowed to grow naturally so far, their explosive stretch meant I had to step in. I performed a strategic defoliation, not because the plants were weak, but to: • Improve airflow through the canopy. • Ensure light reaches lower bud sites. • Slow vertical growth and help prevent them from outgrowing the tent. Even with a high ceiling, there’s still a risk of running out of headroom during the last stretch. Defoliating at this stage also redirects energy to bud formation instead of excessive leaf production. Note: During this process, a few branches were accidentally broken while moving them out for photos. I left this in the report and photos as a learning moment, large plants can be tricky to handle. The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!
