DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. All in all this is going great now and continues to impress me with the capability of this unit. Come on #viparspectra , send me a p4000. Lol Be safe and well growmies.

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ................................. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

102.5g dry, top nug 13.3gs dry. Absolute beast of a plant especially as a freebie, had a good bit of fun with this one and it’s nice seeing improvement through each plant.

Dieser Strain ist eine echte Augenweide mit seinen fast Schwarzen Blättern und dunklen grünen Blüten die weiß vor Harz glitzern und leuchten Orangen Pistillen. Unter dem Mikroskop zeigt sich das der Großteil schon Milichig geworden ist aber noch sehr viele Durchsichtige Trichomen am Tag 56 seit Keimung. Und sie benötigt definitiv noch 1 bis maximal 2 Wochen das alle Trichome Milichig werden.

Well the trichomes clouded up fast! Maybe I didnt notice them initially but majority were cloudy with some amber so I gave it the chop on the night of Day 80. Will update with dried weight soon. Very exciting times for a first time grower!

She is starting to come together finally. Ive never seen a plant like this one. But, I love an underdog. She is getting some nice trichome production already, which is always good. Taking a full dose of nutes and loving it. So far so good. I am loving 420 Fast buds!!!

Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.

Hello! Another week of vegetation is behind us 💪🤪 this week I did LST and Defoliations on all plants. Unfortunately, while bending one of the plants, I broke a branch. Although it heals, I made a mistake that is worth noting. I have to be more careful when working with the plants. The photos show how the plants are bent. Due to the differences in plant sizes, I decided to extend the growing season by one week. Next week I'll be focusing on branching down and observing. I will do the next defoliation in the first weeks of flowering. Greetings to everyone !!

Night time photos so ladies look a little droopy from being in the light all day. Woot woot Cheers to Ecofarm for Fast and friendly service. Got the grow bars in today and they will added to the tent, they are 90w Led grow lights 4 feet long with Banks of Sanan Epistar Smd 2835 and Osrams. PPFD of 198 @ 18” added to the power already there and we got a heck of a light setup. The lights are of great quality and have a three year warranty. Next big investment will mostly be an Apogee Light Meter, tired of fucking around and playing the Guessing game with “Lux meter” on the cell phone. After we acquire the ppfd meter the next step will be acquiring parts to build our own grow light. Also planning on experimenting with light moving technology next grow so we can avoid some of hot spot issues known to be present with Cobs. Lights lights everywhere lights what the heck is going on here? Well the whole idea is to have a ppfd that is as close as possible to 1000 or higher Par/ppfd at 5 foot by 5 foot. Ladies will burned but yields will be large. No guessing or estimating yet. Taking a wait and see approach. The purple gelato mutant is still showing signs that she may indeed be going into flower. Not overly concerned, just kind of cool thing. So all said and done we will try to run 6 side bar lights. 4 cheaper led bars equaling about 180w with 2 Chinese high quality led that are also equal to about 180w. There is also a 2000w Cob grow light with 4 cobs and a bunch of leds draws about 400 watts. And finally a Parfactworks 500w grow light draws about 150 watts. These are all give or take numbers so really I could be drawing 1000 watts or I could be drawing 800 watts. Not really concerned about the power draws we are after bigger weights. And without investing in a new grow light this was our best course of action. Pleased with how everything is progressing and looks great. So I'm actually kind of not use to plants growing this fast every plant is showing gender now in some way. The mutant is most likely not pushing into flower. But again I'm not use to plant growth this fast... Umm #@$% you Advanced Nutrients I used them for half a year and never really had anything to compare them too. This is a superior product in every single way including Price.. Thank you Green Planet Nutrients for making a fantastic product. SMD 2835 – A cheaper led fairly efficient rated at 2.2umols/j with a 3 year warranty offers good value to performance. Comparable to Lg 5830s and Samsung 301h(b) But not as energy efficient. Things are looking good. I'm in a bit of a time crunch so I think I'm going to harvest early. Sometime this week probably, just shy of 8 weeks. Cool strain to grow. Very interesting calyx formations at the crowns. I dried a couple small buds and threw them in my vape a few days later and the terpenes seem great. Can't wait to see how it tastes fully cured. I'm going to wash and decarb the buds before curing them, and I've never done that before, so I'll post that here too. Thanks to everyone who read and commented! Happy growing!

Going well this week. Playing around with the cycle times courtesy of my new find, a 20$ repeat cycle timer. We will switch to flower as soon as the tent is available, hopefully do this entire grow on fog alone.😬 Root prune test, two plants on the right are getting pruned, the left are not. The goal is to build thick tap roots to form a beard-like rhizome. The largest root is roughly 5mm diameter. I believe it's working.
