- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). I started getting new growth from the tops of my colas. I thought this might of been down to raising the light up 10cm but it might of been down to high light intensity so I also moved one abit further away from the other to try and help. The pictures in the dark and videos was around 4minutes before the lights came on as all my photos are over exposed. Next to this plant I have an experiment with pink kush and zombie kush using the light given of from this grow.

I estimate another 2 to 3 weeks. Then I can harvest. I'm really looking forward to my 2 ladies 🤩😎

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). Hello growers day 22 with the mbap iv got some very impressive growth from 2 of the girls and 1 is like a mini plant looks funny don’t no what’s happened there but yer all is good I see her first pistols yesterday so added biobizz top max/ bio heaven 2ml of each Tharp are loving life at the mo so sweet until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️🏻

This Is not a 55 days strain like the package and BSF's web claims, they should change this información because is wrong, it seems to be a 90 days strain.

The plant keeps maturing but is not there yet. I'm not the biggest fan of how it grew (long and slender) but might be a combination of the fertilizer choice and the new light. Anyways this plant should not have any mold issues ^^ Should be done i 1 or two weeks :)

Gave them their 3rd and final heavy defoliation this week. Had lots of useless side branching that will just shadow out the good stuff and cause them to not ripen properly, a lot of this growth was due to the unintended extra 10 days they had in VEG before I noticed the timer wasn't doing what I asked it to do, just one of those things. Always a surprise in the grow room no matter how much you try to prepare and problem solve. I also had an air line manifold blow out this week which was very strange to see. Caught it early so girls didn't go without air for to long and I have 2 air pumps running so 1 going down is only a minor issue but still a great example of the random mishaps that occur when growing. If its one thing that experience has taught me its that less is more when it comes to how many colas you try to fit into a space. Do to many and you'll just end up with a load of mids, battling humidity problems and stress of keeping tons of half ripe colas falling all over onto each other come week 6 or 7. Everything is going great so far, no issues, although I have noticed some of the white hairs on the budlets have slight ginger tops (only a very small few) I have read in the past that this can be a sign of stress and potentially they might flip the hermie but I've done nothing to stress them so I am hoping this is just a abnormality from growing under LED. Boosted the nutrients up to 1000PPM now to let them feed heavy and pump those buds up. She’s been battling some strange P and Cal deficiencies for the last few days while thickening up, planning on taking a soil sample and flushing. Otherwise, she has been happy and healthy. Not really seeing a significant stress response from her. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.9.

She's coming on nicely packing on the bud sights I like the structure on her removed some leaves and waste from the underside introduced sumo boost a good week should see some nice changes soon will get some better pics soon ...put up bew pics and video in better light thanks for reading happy growing guy's

She is still alive and kicking. It smells amazing and looks awesome! She won’t be getting much of anything except for water for the rest of the time, not that she’s gotten much anyways. I’m just waiting for her to tell me she’s done. It’s almost harvest time!!!

Hello growmies. We are reaching the end of the journey! I enjoyed the experience so much that I will repeat it. I'll take a look at the trichomes to decide when to cut it. 4 Setembro - flush a todas as plantas com água muito fria (3L a cada).

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
