Yo my fellow gromies what’s cooking✌️ Day 56 has arrived and these pineapples are filling out nicely now. All starting to pack on some weight. They smell so good! These ladies will now be on plain water for the next 2 weeks to flush and finish up. It’s not great as one of them is a little behind but my drying tent is also my grow tent so I just hope they are all going to be ok the window for harvest. They should be. My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. 30-7 Well i'm a hoping she produces like her cousin did. I know Patience!! It's been so humid in the house the dehumidifier has been producing constant RO water at 22PPM. So far no leaks in the new system🙏 This is an interesting CBD we will see if a new location in the room makes a difference this go around.😎

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

It was an interesting week...nice to have something to keep my mind occupied on these girls during this covid-19 epidemic. 2 days after water change last week, my roots started to turn brown and have appeared to stop growing, I first was concerned that it was root rot, but the plants didn't seem to be affected. So I added more UC ROOTS to the solution in hopes that it would help, I noticed white roots shooting out about 24 hours after. I think it may have been the increase in the coco cal that did the damage. They are filling the net nicely and I will be flipping them to flowering this week I think.
