Started LST this week! They are extremely soft to bend Humidity fluctuating a lot especially on rainy days it gets up to 70% RH and as low as 40 in the mornings

The plant has really jumped in size 20 inches I have started out using 1.25mls (Dutch nutrients bloom a/b) per L using 2 gallons of water each watering and letting water drain checking the ph of the drainage water as well and it's the same ph going in as going out 6.2

Shortly will be time for curing.

Week 3 - Sometimes You Have To Lose To again. I Made a The Sacrifice Of The Leaves So The Plant Can Redirect It’s Energy Into The Branches Attach To It.

Hey guy and gals, So, I was going to prune the girls tomorrow, but a mate dropped a half over, got stoned and decide, Bugger It!, so we hooked in today. I did take some after shots. Should have done 'before and after, but, I was STONED !' The girls look happier, more sprightly, less 'HEAVY'. Saved the biggest and best fan leaf for a mate. He is amazed at the leaf size. Then earlier today, when he dropped in ;-) , he had a look and near dropped. Big Bud has so many nodes, he was shocked. The FIMing/Topping, whichever I did has done amazing things. On a side note, I haven't grown heaps before, so this grow is amazing me. Previous grows got small buds, small amount, only just covering the cost of my setup (Hydro at the time and tent). I now have a BIGGER tent, am using SOIL and they are thriving. Personally, I think the water is the major factor, but also my 'dedication'. I check the girls 2-3, maybe 5 times a day (viewing port). Regular PH, moisture and such checks. I even put a sticky fly strip in there, as a bloody fly got in. This grow, besides the constant checking, I have Fim'd/Top'd, I have pruned them to promote growth. Basically, I have learned heaps, both from here and videos. I have re-read pretty much everything I read previously, tweaked a little and it seems to be working. Northern Lights is still a week or a bit more away from a prune, I think, then we will give them a couple more weeks and turn them to flower. I am aiming for a Late May/Mid June harvest, then a month in jars to cure. All going well, I will have a heap of and great choice, for my birthday in July :-D So, feel free to let me know how they look. Shoot through any advice. Trimming started at day 11 of drying and took roughly 6 hours to complete. The final yield was 483g dried flower and 8g of dry sift from my trim bin. I pressed 6 oz into flower rosin with a yield around 25% ending up with 42g of rosin.

Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.

OK. Now it's getting tough. I actually did not think it was going toever be real ' work '.... but good gravy... this is hard on my new titanium knee!

Buds should be dried at 21 degrees in the dark in 50% humidity

- So far 2 males have been found. Pot #2 &7. - i see pistols showing sex maybe flowering next. - LST 1-6 - 7-11 received no LST for testing purposes. - Increases PPM to 400 - Right side receiving triple 20 look more bigger so far. Haven’t been able to upload videos I’ll try on my pc.

9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.
