It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

11/5 -- They now have 2 weeks of 12/12 under their belts and it's truly been a tale of 3 plants for the past week and a half. GZ2- This one has the opportunity to meet its full potential. It has stretched to give me this beautiful canopy and very few signs of over feed or stress in it. Hopefully she stays this way. Moby- look like it may have been developing some deficiencies. I fed it a few days ago and it seemed to respond well. Some leaves have gotten yellow but the plant is do thick and dense I'm not worried about a few falling off. All in all, it's been steady eddy for Moby Dick that I now believe is also a Barney's Farm Freebie(the seed is now listed where I buy mine from) I'm not going to change it but if you're keeping track, this is most likely a tent full of Barney's Farm. Gz1- and now the music gets a little more serious. I really started recognizing problems with her right at flip. She has lost a lot of fan leaves due to yellowing,, dark stems and I can tell her branching has suffered because of it. Growth at the bottom looks weak and even wrinkled in some spots. She has burn spots and signs of deficiency galore. But also VERY dark fan leaves. I've just come to the conclusion that flushing was probably my best move. She can still have a week of solid growing. If I can get it corrected now, this plant will still be respectable but the trend is disturbing and alarming to someone who knows how fast they can decline. So in conclusion, things are getting a little hairy. Flowering always brings on a new set of challenges and I'm still learning every single time. This Strain has been a pleasure to grow. Great structure from beginning to end. I suggest a silica additive and a lot of defoliation at selected times as needed all the way through will help keep this beauty looking like the champion she is. Honestly,I was a little skeptical about all the hype this strain was getting but I clearly understand why now. This strain is a must for anyone that enjoys growing. Very dense purple with hues of a dark orange - red - magenta colored golfball sized buds for the majority of the plant and popcorn sized buds forming at the bottom. All are great quality ! Also Highly recommend Low Stress Training….especially when entering the bloom phase. Love Love Love this strain and there will definitely be more diaries of this strain in my collection in the future.

Flipped last week, starting to tretch a little. Worried about the stretch Been watering until runoff each time and seeing better results. The girls sometimes end up really hungry because I an really being careful with the nutrients, but a day or two after feed they darken right right. Slowly turning up the lights up 1-2% a day to harden them off. Giving transition formula for the nutes - supposed to be 2ml per gallon for all three base nutes - I add a little less bloom until about 2nd week when I start to really enhance the P and K.

The snow is really coming down out there. Big fat flakes are piling up on the ground, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I guess that means no outdoor plans for today. Might be the perfect day to get cozy inside with a warm drink and a good book The pound cake auto plant is growing like crazy! I'm so happy to see all the progress we've made. Yesterday, I finally got around to tying it down – it's amazing how much more stable it feels now. I can't wait to see what this plant looks like in a few more weeks.

hey Guys, I've been away for 2 week and luckily a trusted friend of mine came almost daily to check the situation and add a pre mixed solution I made before leaving and fix the ph. when i came back I could not believe what happened in the grow box, before living i made a scrog net and positioned it about 15cm above the plant, when i came back the plant grew at least 4x!! i set up the room where the grow box is so I have now the perfect environment!!👍 the girl is now drinking at least 3/4 liters of water per day. As you can see from the pics she's super healty. did some heavy defoliation a few times. hope you enjoyed the update. any suggestion or critic is welcome

Day 36, 15.05.2024 - The week starts with no real action but to double check the position of the branches within the trellis net. No surprise here, that the manual "rerouting" is getting lesser and lesser. The branches found their spots! - We start the week at 38cm height. I think we look at another week of stretch, but it already feels like slowing down. Day 37, 16.05.2024 - a round of drinks to the ladies: 600ml each inkl. Nutrition according to plan. Next watering might be on the weekend. Day 38, 17.05.2024 No action today besides taking a couple of close-up pictures for documenting things. Both are looking fine. Soil is dry, next watering tomorrow morning. Day 39, 18.05.2024 A round of drinks with nutrition: 600ml each inkl. BioBizz Grow, Bloom and TopMax Day 40, 19.05.2024 No real action today. I pre-rendered the timelapse for the running week (5 days in 1133 Pictures :D ) and noticed: The stretch ended more or less in the end of day 37. You can see it clearly that there is no significant grow since then. So from now on all the nutrients will be used to build up the buds which is I guess a nice milestone! Soil is getting dry again - watering will happen in the morning I guess. Jeez, they are thirsty these days! Day 41, 20.05.2024 Gave the ladies a drink right after sunrise (at least to them) at about 1800. Both look good, nothing much to do I guess. Day 42, 21.05.2024 No action today but to close the week with uploading a timelapse video. Enjoy!

Trichomes have turned cloudy. Looks like about 2 weeks till harvest. Time to start the flushing process. One big flush monitoring TDS and nothing but ph’d water and a smidge of Mammoth P till the end.

Things are moving along very well with these auto's. The cold nights temps definitely is playing a role here , but they are pushing on and so far I'm quite impressed. #1: She is being pinned to the floor like a bad little lady. I could've done it differently, but ...lets see what happens #2: The topped one is responding good to the top and tbh this is the 1st time I have ever topped an auto , but she was looking strong and healthy so why not 😆 #3: The one that is growing naturally is also looking good , but a some point I will need to do some LST work to prevent her from touching the lights or overshadowing the other 2
