What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. Put small amount of Mycos Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in the container with the seeds this time. < 1tsp . Worked pretty well. Went into a little bigger size prop pots than I normally use but I'm in no rush. I'll let them get settled.

I basically skipped week 17 as there was nothing new except I added some compost tea that I made with come compost, vegetable scraps, a few cedar clippings and neam oil (oh and some fertilizer ... I forget what) Sprayed with neam oil/soap mix

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

The girls were harvested at 94 days. I didn't weigh it, but I believe they yielded around 30 to 40g for both. I am very satisfied and happy to have achieved a very good result, being my first time growing. A cycle closes and a new will come soon with new soil assembly, new genetics and more experience. Thanks to Shiva for tending and blessing the crop, and to all friends here who have sent messages of support and encouragement. I gained another family. She was lagging a bit behind so I gave her a good dose of overdrive to give her a second wind for more bulking. Kicked in a 600hps for a wider spectrum. Decided to try Schwazzing. Pretty I'mpressed with this method. I highly recommend this!

Cruise control... Did a rez change, fresh new RO water + added calmag and nutes totalling 750ppm. Not much vertical growth. Buds fattening up now. tied up some of the branches and defoliated a little to allow more light penetration.
