Day 40: They got recoverd from overwatering. Leafs got darker because I gave them more nutrients, but gained early signs of slightly overfeeding ( Burnt tips on leafs). I had to boost them to fix it because there isn't much time with autoflowers. Now i only have to adjust my nutrient feeding with just 10 to 15% and its all good. They did stretch again, some growers love it but i think it is ugly and you will gain weak stems. I have to do something about the heat soon, because i want my buds compact and not fluffy. This will happen due lots of heat. I also have to start give them cal/mag, i saw first stages of deficiency. Not a problem when you are early with spotting it. Nice lovely buds so far Thats all for now Day 42: I have been defoliating alot to get the air between the plants. There are still some leafs and branches i want to get rid off, but i don't want them to stress out to much. Also i have killed of 23 smaller plants to make more space for the others. This is always painfull but stupid if you don't do this. If the plants didn't stretch that far due heat and low placed lights, this would not have been the case. I would still have alot of small nice plants. This was more the case for the gorilla's but it had to be said here as well since the Cherry Cola's will profit from it as well. See you guys next week!

Started week 3 today. Things don't seem to be going as well. The small plant im not too concerned about. It's always had some problems and I've been beating up on that and trying some early defoliation. The larger one has always looked healthy and now it got really dark green, droopy, and some clawing. Went 4 days without watering, no changes, gave it a big flush PH'd to 6.5. No changes. Lifted the light a hair and switched to 20/4. No changes. Any input welcome. A few people have told me it looks fine but it seems like something I'd wrong.

Had issues with one of my mars 1600, seems some leds are broken or burnt out already and the light has only been used for 8 months. Talking with my supplier to see about switching it out or repair.

This week begins flowering. All the plants were flushed day before lights went out. I noticed some droopy leaves on a couple and wanted to clear possible salt build up before I start to change the nutrients. This week nutrient schedule is a little lighter than recommended so I can watch for results of the flush and no compound issues. Some pre-flowers have shown on a couple of girls. Both of them were very loud in the nose and sticky on the fingers. The plants are loving the dark period. I have had them on a 24 light schedule up until flower but next run I may go 20 and 4 just to compare. Most the clones taken have roots showing. One pheno which is showing female pre-flowers has some very vigorous root growth on its clones. The plants are drinking more and more. Will up waterings to every other day .

Sprouted from soil after 3 days! This diary will cover the complete growth cycle, seed to harvest, of this photoperiod strain from RQS, including drying, trimming and weighing. I’m planting this seed together with some autoflowers that just entered in the flowering stage. The ideea is to fill the tent as much as possible since the autoflowers gonna be chopped by the time this pheno will be ready to switch from veg to flower.

Still low stress training till end of week five and once they are bigger then the actual pot I will allow them to start growing straight up. Lots of plants Is nice but you don’t want to suffocate them with no space to grow. I want a bush then turn it loose and let her reach up. More space for light to penetrate and helps with air flow to circulate the air better. I defoliated lower third of plant to allow plants resources to be better used on top and to also allow better air flow. Also when using low stress training you’re pulling the tops down to make an even canopy to allow your light to be put at its lowest point to get all your nuggs an even amount of light. As the week went on you can see I have leveled them all out for my light to be at its closest without burning any of my taller branches. I just tied them down more to allow the others to get better light and bulk them babies up more. I had a magnesium deficiency this week with a couple plants so when I watered I added 5 tsp of epson salt to 3L of water along with the rhino skin and then ph the water to 6.0. The only reason I have ph’d the water to 6.0 instead of 6.3 is because the runoff from the last watering was at about 6.8 so I’m trying to lower the runoff and get it closer to 6.5 so I know that my roots aren’t blocking out Nutrient uptake. The plants are a making a fast rebound after giving them the Epson salt watering after a couple days and are getting back to healthy. Week six should be a very interesting week to see how far these babies start reaching up now that I am done low stress training. The smell is very light not too strong yet. Still adding CO2.

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

Still 3 plant in the tent at the moment , 2 of them are harvested and drying right now :) another should be ready for harvest this week :) I do have a plant that seems to be late compared to the other , although she is now massive compared to her sisters

The nute burning carries on . This is so embarrassing , the leaves frizzled and burn . I lowered ppm to 500ppm but the burn still carry on. So i think i can’t fix anything now . I will be flushing next week because the spider mites are back again and i really don’t want to foliage spray too much . The pistils and the trichs look like she is going to be done in a week. Still she has very less trichs on her , not really happy about .I think i will be chopping her down by the end of week 10 .

This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone?
