Selectively defoliated 1 or 2 large fan leaves on each plant that were blocking direct light to the nodes growing . I REALLY need those secondary branches to elongate so I can begin training them down & out towards the other rim of the 5 gallon pot . Each plant is getting a little over a half of a gallon every 3 days currently I’ll set my goal to have my canopy structured & fabric pot filled out rim to rim by the time I need to amend & top dress for the flowering feeding in 2.5 wks . I feel if I can fill my pot with healthy veg before the onset of flowering I can definitely get 4 ounces per plant . Still racing against the clock here 6/4 lost control of temps tent went to 89F after AC went out. Raised light , decreased dimmer , & increased the exhaust fan to 100% after seeing leaves begin to canoe & wilt . **Noticed just the slightest nutrient burn on a few (not all) of the girls so I definitely won’t be upping the ppm yet & since there still a solid 2 weeks worth of dry amended food in this soil so just water will do fine for the next watering . The girls this last feeding from the compost tea are drinking slower it seems. Though this feeding did include almost 1 gallon more of water & the lowering of the light intensity as well as loss of control of Air Conditioning they are STILL noticeably wetter than normal . I think at this rate from the last watering on 6/2 they won’t be dry again until 6/8 at which date I’ll decrease the amount of water I’ll be giving them substantially.

03/03/2022 Down to one Lemon OG, one Biscotti Skunk, and three Grape Skunk all looking super vigorous including Lemon OG . Very happy with the genetics so far trimmed up the legs a bit lots of potential clones! Ps. Forgot picture of Biscotti Skunk it's lights out so that will get done tomorrow.

Flowering continues, I've had some magnesium deficiency issues that I'm trying to compensate for with Calmag Xtra, also from Advanced Nutrients. I've also lowered the Grow dosage. The buds are really loaded with trichomes and, if I've done everything correctly, I expect the buds to increase in size. 🌴🤤🤤🤤🤤

What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Skywalker putting on tons of frost and seems to be happy with the status quo so no more compost teas for her. Starting to have a distinct Kush scent filling the tent now. In the future I’d probably LST this from the start to increase yields but other than some defoliation throughout, I haven’t done any training which has been nice. Blueberry impressed me with the size of the buds starting to form. Signs of frost for sure. Not very aromatic yet at this point. Stem rub is a different story. She has been showing some signs of calcium/mag deficiency in some of the leaves which seemed to improve with top dressing/Recharge. Been drinking a steady liter minimum daily Glueberry OG continues to explode in growth. I’ve done quite a bit of defoliation to keep tops exposed and it has bounced back quick each time. I can see why this would be a fun strain outdoors, as it is slowly taking up a solid 4 square ft of the tent. I may end up finishing this outdoors depending on its desire to consume the canopy space. Due to the longer flower period, I’ll keep up with compost teas to support all that growth. So far, it seems to be working Week ended 7/20

Even if overall I find that I didn't produce enough buds in this session. I still have things to improve😉! So happy with the taste and texture of those buds😍! So i both some Autopots and decided to give them a try with autoflowers, this will be my second time ever growing autos and i decided to go with 4 different ones from 4 different seed banks. For now i have 3 seeds that pop out and one that didn't so i pop another from the same and again, have a third one as we speak popping , lets hope this time she does other way that seedbank becomes a no go for me. Esta semana las chicas han mejorado un poco, se detuvo el amarillamiento, descubri que Cal-Max de Grotek interfiere en la composicion de la linea hesi por lo que las chicas sufren un bloqueo de nutrientes, dejé de utilizarlo y las chicas han continuado con su desarrollo relativamente normal. ya estan en su 5ta semana de floracion, Tutankhamon ha producido una cantidad gigantesca de resina, Lennon esta engordando a toda velocidad y aun le quedan 6 semanas aprox. Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! Anubis, despite its intense pale yellow color, is gaining weight quite well and its resin production is unimaginable and there are only about 2 and a half weeks left. Primeira semana de planta, por enquanto um broto. Germinei no papel toalha + ziplock, e depois passei para o cultilene. Assim que a raíz cresceu, como mostra no vídeo, passei para o Kokostec. Na primeira rega utilizei ppm 340 e pH 6 e os produtos listados acima. A ideia nesse ciclo é fazer um cultivo em coco, misturando a linha FloraSeries da GH com ferts KNF caseiros. End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Haven't been remembering to post weekly updates! Everything is going great the auto flower girls are budding nicely and the other ladies are starting to flower nicely I'm giving alternating nutrients using a few different fox farm nutrient feed charts with my own take on them from notes an suggestions. This is the part that is so enjoyable but so stressful!
