🌱 VEGETATIVE (4 weeks) The Runtz seed, placed in a root-riot cube within a DWC net pot, successfully sprouted by day 4, under an 18/6 light cycle (50W at 50cm). The first week saw the seedling establish itself, with roots extending into the DWC reservoir. During the second week, despite slightly low humidity and temperature, the seedling demonstrated robust and rapid growth. Light intensity was increased to 75W. Towards the end of this week, I removed the first set of true leaves as they were growing too close to the substrate. The third week marked a noticeable increase in the plant's water uptake (1 LT/day), which prompted me to raise the nutrient solution's EC to 1.0. The plant showed significant development while maintaining a compact stature – a trait I appreciated. In the fourth and final week of vegetation, as odors began to emerge, I installed a carbon filter, raised the EC to 1.2, keep the pH in the right range and boosted the light intensity further to 150W. By the end of this phase, the plant was bushy, compact (21 cm height), and healthy. 🌸 FLOWERING (8 weeks) For the first week I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and introduced a new nutrient solution adding Power Buds to the mix. During the second week I was impressed to see preflowers clearly visible as early as day 10 of flowering. So, during the third week I made a substantial defoliation session to manage the plant's increasing bushiness, which I knew would be crucial for later-stage light penetration and humidity control. In the fourth week I introduced a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, thereby increasing the phosphorus and potassium concentration in the solution, water consumption around 3 LT/day. Towards the end of the week, I performed another significant defoliation, including the removal of lower, light-starved branches, to which the plant responded well. During the fifth week the stretching phase concluded, with the plant reaching its final height of 69cm. Its focus shifted to bud development, and the foliage began to adopt a darker hue. At this point, my role was primarily to maintain stable environmental parameters and a correct pH in reservoir. During the sixth week buds were visibly swelling daily, the plant remained in excellent health, and resin production became more pronounced. For the seventh week I implemented a change in feeding, completely cutting the nitrogen from the DWC solution, using only Green Sensation at a higher concentration. In the eighth and final week of flowering (week 12 overall), I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I filled it with plain tap water and maintained this for 4 days leading up to harvest. On day 56 of flowering (84 from seed), the Runtz plant appeared perfectly ready. The buds were dense and glistening, pistils mostly browned and retracted, and trichomes displayed a good mix of milky and some amber. Immediately after harvesting her, I removed the fan leaves, deciding to dry these as well due to their remarkable resin content. ✅ DRYING The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ Dry weight After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds and 5 grams of finger hash. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf and a large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ✅ CURING For the curing process, the dried buds were placed in a large, airtight glass jar. This jar was stored in a dark location within a room maintaining a stable temperature of around 20°C for a total of 45 days. The burping schedule was as follows: Day 1-7: twice daily for 10 min. Day 8-10: once daily for 10 min. Day 11-14: every other day for 10 min. Day 15-21: every 3 days for 10 min. Day 22-30: every 4 days for 10 min. Day 31-45: No burping. 📑 SMOKE REVIEW - At 15 days cured a vegetal note is still quite present and the smoke is a bit harsh, typical for a short cure. The effects are already pleasant and potent, very promising. - After 30 days of curing, the Runtz has improved considerably. The vegetal smell has mostly faded, giving way to a much more defined sweet and fruity fragrance reminiscent of candy and berries. The smoke is noticeably smooth, euphoric effects are dominant. - At 45 days, Runtz has expressed its full potential and is now perfectly cured for daily enjoyment. The aroma is intense and complex, an explosive mix of sweet candy and tropical notes. The effects are potent, starting with an uplifting cerebral euphoria that evolves into a pleasant body relaxation, without leading to couch-lock. 🍕 I also made cannabutter which I used to finish a risotto. The result was insane – both the risotto itself and the potency of the cannabutter were exceptional!

Welcome to week 10! First Time checking trichomes this week but were still far off (~3-4 weeks+). Deficencies are officially under control, theyre not getting any worse by now. Ramped up nutes, next watering will also be 4ml/l of bloom instead of 3. They really started to swell and build mass by now. Despite all the issues in the beginning, im happy with how they look now and i learnt a lot. well, i say lot, mainly just "dont overwater" lol. Didnt defoliate, just watering and checking on them. They smell really good and kinda strong, not overwhelming yet but im 1 inch away from giving them the "strong" here on growdiaries. Timelapse again at the end of the week.

Grow Report Week 11: The Continuation of the Flowering Phase Hello dear grow community, We are now in the second week of the flowering phase, and the developments are exciting. All the ladies have stretched further and received their final lollipopping today. A little defoliation was also carried out to direct more light onto the tops. The Frosty Nightmare Challenge At the beginning of the week, there was a small problem with the Frosty Nightmare, but it seems not to be spreading further and was removed. I am relieved that we have it under control. Space Filling, Temperature Control, and Fertilization Scheme The area to be illuminated is now completely filled. The temperatures remain constant at 25°C during the day and 22°C at night. Relative humidity below 50 percent. The Biobizz fertilization scheme is still being followed 100%, although I have raised the pH value a bit to support the Cal/Mag uptake. Bud Development and Anticipation I am satisfied with all the plants; their bud development is promising. The next 2-3 weeks will surely be very interesting. Banana, Do-Si-Dos, Gorilla Zkittlez, Frosty Nightmare, Pink Rozay, and Girl Scout Cookies can now show what they are made of. I look forward to sharing the progress with you. It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds, nicely coated with THC and it was approx 70% milky and 40% amber trichomes. Hopefully good time to be harvested. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not bad at all. I like it.

Week of admiring this girl is drinking water every 2 days without problems something big to take I need a lot more of that in my garden her resistance and incredible leaving in its natural form you only feed and observe because it makes great sprouts with incredible sugar, aroma sweet, previous weeks in veg the defoliation of everything that was underneath made something bigger in equal proportions, it really doesn’t need big lights to show its potential I believe that improving in each specific strain you know each one, being able to understand more and improve. Thanks for another week everyone, the trichomes are taking their best potential, I hope at any time to return with the harvest 😁

3. November Alle drei Pflanzen weiterhin topfit. Trauermücken aufgetreten. Habe das abgelaufene Päckchen nematoden für die runtz genutzt. Hoffe es bringt was 4. November Cookies Gelato hat den harten Mainlinecut bekommen. Spitze wurde entfernt, Seitenteile wurden direkt danach abgeschnitten. Sie wird’s schon wegstecken. Tropimango und runtz geht’s gut :) Cookie gelato hat bereits wenige Stunden später die Blätter wieder hoch gestreckt. Stagniert. 5. November Alles gut. Die Schnitte wurden gut verkraftet. Triebe wachsen wieder Cookies gelato ist nun 21 Tage alt. Tropimango ist nun 18 Tage alt. Runtz ist nun 7 Tage Alt. 7. November Cookies gelato wächst. Sobald die Klammern da sind wird sie runtergebunden Tropimango hat schnitte und Lst bekommen. Topping werde ich noch abwarten. Runtz wächst 8. November Cookies gelato hat LST + mainlineschnitte erhalten. Wurde nicht mit gießen kombiniert da ich gestern gegossen habe. Tropimango erneut LST. Runtz wächst. Sieht aus als würde sie langsam ins Wachstum wechseln. Erster Triebe am einzahnblatt kommen. Dreizahnblatt erst frisch entwickelt. 9. November Cookies gelato wurde das erste mal zusätzlich mit Sugar Royal und calmag versorgt. Hab’s davor vergessen 😅 Shit Happens. Wurzeldünger gibt es konstant weiter. Runtz wurde mit wurzeldünger und calmag versorgt Tropimango hat noch sehr feuchte Erde. Keine Ahnung wieso.

On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers. Day 22: approx. 5-7 roots 10-20cm long are coming out of inner pot. Day 25: Alright, I got another big accident. I guess lowest link of stem was damaged from my burn attack in 1st week. So it broke by weight of the plant - not bend but really broke with only a small part connecting roots with higher stem links remaining. I added substrate covering the broken area and gave a support to bring her back in vertical position. I am so sorry for this plant - considering the 1st week I have as good as killed her 2 times already. I will watch her, providing most possible comfort I can give, for couple of days. Lets hope she manage to solve this issue as well. Added air stone pump into waterfarm outer pot. Removed 4-5 damaged/burned lower leaves. Day 28: lights timer locked and didn't switch off for night time. I noticed that only during following night. Otherwise everything is fine, seems like she recovers well. A real pleasure to watch this beauty grow :) Will provide remaining pics & video for this week approx on Tue or Wed.

we improvised with threads the mesh was badly placed but everything served and fulfilled its function, now the leaves have grown again and the mini jungle is re-formed, we really liked how the previous pruning turned out although aggressive to the plants it did not affect them they recovered almost instantly, and it works in our favor because of the space, so this is already the end of the second or the beginning of the third week, in the next one I will upload the pruning and everything as it is already at the end of almost the 3rd week of flowering, at least of the larger, the others, as you know, are 2 to 3 weeks apart, so for them it is 1 or 2 weeks of flowering, which is noticeable in their development. the risks that are written down in the diary are the fertilizer once a week, and 1 3.5-liter drum or a gallon is used, which is divided into the 2 largest and another equal gallon with a different proportion for the 5 smallest , in the newspaper it is written down of the great ones.

On day 15 I gave her 33cl compared to 25cl/3days as usual. Also expand her surface of watering like that she can make some flat roots. On day 18, 4th and last feeding on this dosage. As for now, the idea's to wait before starting train.

This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a Little. Even though they're a little behind the others, those permanent marker plants are looking good. Being so close to the light must be helping them stack up those buds, so hopefully it's just a matter of time before they really start to shine.

Okay so after 48 hours instead of 24 of darkness. These ladies were begging to be chopped with how much more intense the smell got. Cheesy , sweet , skunky , and a floral incense kind of scent. Made lots of finger hash just getting them off the plants , already smoked. I’m about 75% done with chopping all the major tops. This time I decided to cut off the branches and dry on an eight tier 24” diameter rack off Amazon. All 8 tiers are full with gorgeous top colas. I’m drooling. Can’t believe just how much bud this is turning out to be. They are dense , and oozing. Not going to get a wet weight because this is just too much. But holding the rack it’s like 20 lbs or more. My scales don’t go that high. Lol. Gotta say it, I think my buds look 10 times better than the advertisement photos g13 lab’s mozzarella. My 2 cents and honest opinion. Please do give me your opinions. I know I didn’t show the full grow because life gets busy. My next grow I want to control the humidity and heat levels a bit better. Or just humidity and run co2 to withstand higher temps. I have every angle of the grow under my tips now. It feels amazing to have this kind of harvest after the dedication these plants received. I’m Convinced…. rdwc with a water chiller , is by far the best way to do hydro. When it’s dry I’ll add the final weights. My nutrient reg is this. Jacks 321 , botanic are cal mag plus, hydroguard,PK booster is flower fuel(purple can off Amazon) and unsulfured molasses. If you don’t have an ability to keep water at 70 degrees then only use jacks hydroguard and cal mag. You’ll still do well but that molasses , that sauce is the boss.

All is good so far, the seeds of all the different strains have been quite vigorous. Lost my first sour diesel due to my impatience, but the second time around was a charm .

Hi Gromie's, well it's the end of another problem free week! Week 9 going into week 10 of veg! I don't usually veg for this long but I'm just trying to get the timing right for perpetual harvest. Plants in flowering tent were harvested & drying now for 5 days, so these girls will be transferred to the flowering tent in the next few days for the start of flowering, I've allready planted new seeds for the following grow, so just trying to get on top of the timing for everything related with perpetual growing. Thinking of setting up a 4x2 tent with a 4 inch extraction fan & filter for drying, so I can cut out around a week, that way as soon as I've harvested & cleaned the tent I can transfer plants from veg instead of having to dry in the flowering tent. Have developed really strong & thick structure's from the H.S.T & L.S.T training. Plants are nice & healthy. Performed 1 last defoliation before they go to flower as they get very bushy quickly.
