For nutrients, as directed by the GHE Medium Flora Feed schedule for the week corresponding with how old the plant is. All three seeds are on slightly different weeks as follows (Which means all the weeks may be off on the diary, I think I did it as accurate as I could) - Strawberry Banana Auto (SN) sprouted on 10/15/22 1 Cold Creek Kush (CCK1) sprouted on 10/27/22 The other Cold Creek Kush (CCK2) sprouted on 11/05/22 For these plants, I'm not doing any crazy training or anything, simply defoliating when I think it's necessary, but otherwise letting the plants grow. Sort of hard to update or have this diary be 100% accurate as the plants are not at my residence but at a buddy's. RIP the 2 Cold Creek Kush plants, both turned out to be male and are later culled. I will keep the photos in this diary for preservation and to look back on when I eventually grow CCK again.

Ok my friends, i have to end this growing season with a bit smaller wedding party than planded.. becouse nasty weddingcrashers who came have ruined the cake! Giorno 2 bene ragazzi ho già notato che le ragazze si stanno allungando, sono in forma e non vedo l'ora di vederle a fine settimana. Giorno 3 annaffiata con 2,5L di acqua Giorno 4 defogliazione e lollipop, dopo una settimana circa ho tolto la fasciatura dalla spaccatura del ramo centrale, che cambiamento!

The plants look really happy, with a rich and vibrant color. They are now growing taller more slowly, but the side branches are getting thicker. The buds are becoming really fat and are completely iced out with trichomes. The calyxes continue to swell, and more trichomes are visible, starting to turn slightly milky. Some of the white hairs are slowly turning brown. I estimate about 2-4 weeks until harvest. The scent is simply delicious, with a pleasant creamy berry aroma. The buds are also incredibly resinous, making your fingers sticky as soon as you touch them. The plants are only lightly defoliated, with dead leaves selectively removed and small shoots trimmed only at the bottom of the plant. The ladies are also extremely thirsty. Besides the regular fertilized watering, they also receive tap water from the bottom, which they usually absorb within a few minutes. I also made an extra video to better show the size of the buds, and using the flash at night highlights the trichomes even more.

4/12 Week 3 Just basic CocoTek, good growth from the girls. Baba is dang pretty, Athena is a BIG girl and then there is Sally and her friend 😳. Upped the nuets on the evening feeding to 4ml/gal , Athena seems like she is trying to make up the difference all on her own. Going to help her if we can Start getting the 5 gal pots made up tomorrow, wont be long to transplant. 4/13 pics 4/14 Athena is just busting to grow, transplanting today as keeping her in the germ tent would be holding her back. Other two are fine and more normal sized for LSD-25. Nuets remain as is for now. UPDATE: Athena Transplanted into 5 gal 30% perlite PREPARED coco, ppm from coco almost nil. Pot treated with kangaroots and fish sh!t to run off. Great root development even exiting the garden bag and the solo cup. Gave her a house warming present, kangaroots, fish sh!t, and regular feed 2 cups lots of runoff. Light at 20"ish for time being. 4/15 Pics Training day tomorrow for Athena, just LST bend and secure. Baba and Sally/Jane will be transplanted at end of week. 4/16 First bend on Athena Transplant finished gave them a shot of fish sh!t and kangaroots Root development in the garden bags is just remarkable. Harvest Day 105

As of day 14, the Blackberry Kush is still exhibiting it's abnormal leaf growth. I've only ever seen this on another genetically purple strain, so I am curious if there is a connection. If anyone has seen similar issues in their own plants let me know! It's growth hasn't been too bad, and I am sure it's going to continue to take off over the next week! I usually top my plants between day 14 and 21, so i am hoping it is growing vigorously enough to prevent any stunting. I haven't seen any adverse effects from temporarily switching to my plentiful dry cal-mag, so I am happy about that so far! I am still adding a similar EC worth of Cal mag (.5) so it's good to have dialed in a rough equivalent. I hope everyone is staying safe, and happy growing! 👍🌱 Day 15: the leaf growth continues to be very screwy, and even if it's at least partially a genetic issue I continue to triple check all my practices and parameters. The PH drifts up mildly in my reservoirs between cleaning/remixing of nutrients, but it is going from roughly a 5.8 up to a 6.2 (at worst) with no change in the EC/PPM. Between the lack of EC drift and lack of smell, I don't think there are any major bacterial issues. The outflow PH is also acceptable (5.8) and the outflow EC is around .2-.3 above inflow, which is also acceptable. I dug into the coco a little bit, and the medium is not oversaturated with water (it is always a bit "fluffy" with good drainage and never compacted) and the roots are white and healthy. With the healthy vigorous growth of the other Blackberry in the same conditions, it brings me back to this being at least partially a genetic issue. I looked through grow questions of other diaries for similar leaf issues, and it seemed that most were either blueberry or blackberry strains from a range of breeders. This could be purely a coincidence, but it does make me wonder. The grows with similar issues seemed to otherwise have no commonalities in how they were grown. I am going to keep trying my best with this plant regardless, so I hope it pulls through alright! Day 17: being very careful with my PH and keeping it a bit lower, to rule it out as a possible cause of the twisted leaves and less vigorous growth. I am keeping it between 5.5 and 6 for the time being to make sure there is no lock out of micro elements like boron. As per the comments, I am being more accurate be using a pH pen as opposed to drops which I may have misjudges. I topped the plant, which is definitely a risk! But I am hoping for some healthier leaves to come in, and the plant hasn't stunted so far! It has grown the number of nodes it should have for its age, it just not as filled in and lush as I would like it to be. Day 19: I have been monitoring PH especially carefully, taking a few measurements per day and keeping it between 5.6 and 5.8 (a little on the low side). The runoff is consistently under 6 as well. EC and other conditions have stayed where they should be as well. I reduced any PH drift by running the air pump for the res 24/7, instead of just for mixing and before fertigations to rule that out. But I haven't seen any overall improvements for the leaves so I am reverting back to my theory of a genetic issue with this particular plant. It's growing larger and it's stems are thickening, so I'm just going to keep it growing as well as I possibly can and see what it yields!

🗓️ Week 17: 3/23 - 3/29 📆 Week 7 of 12/12 🌄 The plant is starting to go into senescence and presenting some beautiful colors as she begins to fade. 💡 Received new lighting courtesy of Growers Choice. They sent me the ROI-E420 with the Master Controller. First impression is amazing. Looks and feels like very high quality build. The spectrum seems more blue than the 3000k lm301H Kingbrite bars I have been using. The bars are thinner and packed with a lot of diodes, so they do run a little hotter than the KB at full power. I adjusted and now running them at 90%. For now the Kingbrite bars are being used as side lighting dimmed to about 30-35% depending on Grow room temps.

Lemon Cherry Gelato will need a little more time before she is ready. However, the buds are already covered with trichomes and also very sticky. Buds smell very sweet and lemony, with the classic Gelato aroma. 🍋🍋🍋🍒🍒🍒

Seeds sprouted June 21st, outdoors in Southern California. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest potting soil and city tap water. Can't wait to start this grow!

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. 10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.
