This should be interesting. Let's see what we can do with this one. Thanks Short Stuff. Auto Gorilla OG is possibly the most exciting strain we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is tall, incredibly vigourous, smells delicious and has potency levels which are off the hook. We had heard a lot about Gorilla Glue #4 and managed to get our hands on a cut of this super-strong and highly resinous strain which has being causing such a buzz. We then set about crossing it with our favourite Auto OG Kush until we had Auto Gorilla OG.  The results have blown us away… The trichome count is just out of this world with resin ‘gluing up’ your scissors when you harvest her and mountains of sift being produced when you are manicuring the dried buds.  When growing Auto Gorilla OG get ready for some explosive growth from day 1. This strain is really vigourous and pushes out branches and bud sites in all directions while reaching a height of up to 1-2 metres (4 feet). Once she has finished her stretch she will start filling out and the buds will become super chunky and resinous as the trichome production goes into overdrive. The smell has classic OG funk elements with pine scents and earthy aromas but there is also some extra special fruit salad candy in the mix which makes it one of our favourite smelling strains.  The potency of Auto Gorilla OG is not to be taken lightly; she is one of the strongest strains we have ever tried, autoflower or photoperiod. Tests have shown THC levels in excess of 23%. The effect of Auto Gorilla OG is very fast acting with an instant all over body buzz and a very uplifting head-high. The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. We are on Day 36 of Flower and going strong! As we are coming to the final weeks of flower, these buds are still immature but are definitely going to be maturing well. Word to the wise, at this stage in the fame you gotta check your plants DAILY (or you might have some unexpected droop 😅😅😅). Surprisingly we are only watering every other day. I think the Mycorrhizae and the biochar in this soil mix are helping me out a lot here. Overall feeling really good about this plant. The feedings look fine and she is looking very healthy. We have reached the first harvest, I do not mark it as harvested because the other one is still going and will be harvested in 7 - 10 days. Here we are with our Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, it was the first to be harvested in just 59 days, born in fact on September 1st, all of it was harvested on October 30th, not bad at all. The flowers are really beautiful, excellent resin, skunky scent as we like it a little gray, as soon as we smell skunk we fly into the past, far from indie and commercial music and with generic nostalgic references. Here with a smell of skunk we teleport to the coffee shops of Amsterdam in the late 90s. It often happens to me when I smell the flavors and smells of the first super herbs I smoked. With Skunk and derivatives more than anything. And then with Cheese which is precisely a derivative and with Bubblegum I go straight back to that coffee shop. The amount of grass is average, the plant is not very tall, about 90 cm and has been cleaned underneath, the largest is 100 cm, it will give us a lot of grass, the phenotypes are slightly different despite being f1 but at least two phenotypes seem obvious to me, we must grant them, mom and dad. I did a big flush but the plant arrived a bit green anyway, I had exaggerated in pumping a bit and I anticipated the harvest by about a week when I saw my jars almost empty. Let's be clear, we are still at an excellent amount of mature pistils, about 75%, and as for trichomes we are a bit amber, mostly cloudy and also some transparent still. But whatever, we are ready anyway. Still flushing to get ph back, nothing added to water this week. Buds are packing on weight and the smell is getting very sweet. Also, had to add in another support net for the extra weight these girls could start making.

Getting so close to harvest!! She's just stacking the bud and trichromes daily! I'm watching the colors, waiting for ~60% amber. Smells amazing, like a funky orange cheese, some lite notes of vanilla/cream. Hopefully she's ready to dry this week Update Day 65: part of my original 600w light died, only 2/4 panels are working full power. I borrowed a "1000w" Amazon light from a buddy and set the 2 up for 900-1000ppfd in the cola/upper area, and 600-750 in all the lower areas. Going to run it like this for a few days and if she doesn't respond well I'll have to pull her a little early Day 67: dual lights seem to be really helping to bulk up the buds! Hopefully only a couple days left. Trichromes are ~75% CLOUDY, still very little amber yet (less than 5%). Terps are crazy, very OG/funk smell, once you touch the plant though it's like orange pixie sticks!!

Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost. Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag. Day 59: reorganised tent Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm. Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go. Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching. Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant. Who knew basil flowers were so pretty? 😊 Day 62: Fertigated 3l Day 63: Height 47cm width 65cm x 75cm Week Summary: Another big week with a plant barely recognisable from herself a week ago. As well as the ongoing stretch she has started to frost over this week and I am hoping this continues because more and more is appearing all over the place.

The plants came down after 64 days in flower, and 99 days total. I'm super happy with the results as of right now. I love the color on these buds and they seem super dense. The smell while trimming was very gassy, and I think it'll smell great after curing. The buds still need to dry, which I expect to take just over a week. They'll be drying in the tent at about 70F and around 60% humidity. The humidity is a little high after being in the tent over night at 64%, but I'm hoping that will creep down as the buds lose more moisture. I'll update later after the buds have dried and I'm able to weigh them. The drying turned out great. I've struggled with some past grows getting rid of the wet grass smell after drying, but I let it go an extra day this time and the smell seems to have gone away. Ended up with about 4.5 ounces in total, which I'm happy with. Now the buds are all curing, and I'll probably wait close to a week before smoking any of the cured bud.

She's starting to smell very nice! Already much stronger smell than my last grow which is welcomed! I moved the lights down 4 inches in hopes to 'light train' it and prevent the main cola from gaining more height so it can concentrate on the budsites, hopefully it pays off. Live and learn! Do-Si-dos auto is doing good. She got some defoliation and lst today. She is due for a solution change very soon. I will be switching her to the blooming nutrition at that time. She has shot out her first pistils. The next few weeks should be a lot of stretching. Nothing more to report at the moment. This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!
