Weekly Update on the Runtz ๐ŸŒฑ Hey everyone! Just wanted to share how the Runtz is coming along. She's thriving under the care of the Plagron nutrients ๐ŸŒฟ, reacting beautifully to every feed. Since my last update, sheโ€™s sprouted several new nodes and is showing incredible growth! https://plagron.com/en/tools/grow-schedule-calculator Sheโ€™s definitely growing like a sativa ๐ŸŒณ, with those long, stretchy branches. To manage that, Iโ€™m planning to enforce some solid training techniques to keep her short and wide, just the way I like it ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ. Iโ€™m loving the whole experience so far, itโ€™s been such a rewarding journey ๐Ÿ’š. Iโ€™ve attached plenty of pictures for you all to check out ๐Ÿ“ธ. Please drop a like, leave a comment, and share any feedback or tips youโ€™ve got! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™Œ

July 21, 2020 update. The indoor girls are looking close to harvest. Outdoors the buds still look loose and airy, but all of the hairs have curled in and are turning red/brown. I'm thinking about cutting them all down in the next few days - mainly because my existing jars are getting low. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

*****Week 16 growth โ€“ March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 โ€“ Week 8 flower ****** We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘ The fade coming from MM1 is awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž staring at her all the time. The smells coming off these girls is crazy. I find myself opening the tent zipper half way and then just letting the fan blow the aromas in my face for a minute๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ”ฅ Large citrus notes but a beautiful earthy under tone of a fresh morning dewy breeze.......Fโ€™n love it @emeraldtriangleseeds ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘ I was a little worried about this strain with the description of long and large for a grow but itโ€™s been just fine. SCROG kept the height under control and they donโ€™t appear to be taking longer than the other girls and all seem to fading similarly. Will start looking at trichomes soon but havenโ€™t been too worried about them so far......we will be going a full 9 weeks, plus, anyway. The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point๐Ÿ˜Ž Little more detailโ€ฆ.. Mar 27/21, Day 50 - 4L plain water at 6.0pH - colors coming out on MM1 are impressive. - MM2 is going to be greener in the end.....she is slow to fade. Mar 28/21, Day 51 - 4L watering today with RO water. - 30ppm and 6.1pH Mar 29/21, Day 52 - cold in the tent today so turned the heater back on to brin up to 77 degrees. It was holding at 74, a little low. - nothing watered. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - MM2 is not showing much fade. Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Still some nutrient to keep working on in the leaves......give them a little more time๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘

These girls sprouted and then had no light for 2 and a half days, so a little leggy. Put them under 25% power LED to see how they respond will increase as needed over next few days, to 100% blue spectrum.. The genetics are either, selfed (G T H), or stray Skywalker that also selfed.. Soo a selfed GTH or sky ghost train. I think I like the possibilities.๐Ÿ™ 03/27/2018 Day 6, 100% blue spectrum, 25% red, perking up watered.

Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰ is maturing very well. Nice and dense, frosty buds! She's finished growing now, so concentrating next on just flower nutes. The plant is very small due to my terrible attempt at LST! ๐Ÿ˜… 27.2.25: Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰ and Purple Lemonade ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‹ are both far below the scrog net, they've definitely stopped stretching now. My LST on these was much worse than even just using the net. ๐Ÿ˜… That was certainly a valuable takeaway. I'm sure Purple Lemonade ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‹ will be good. Watermelon ๐Ÿ‰ was so stunted. It's not a tall strain, usually either, but nevertheless, the buds there are looking very frosty and are very, very sticky! ๐Ÿ˜… Should be a good smoke, eventually, ๐Ÿค— just won't be much to bag unfortunately.

So finally this week the plan was looking strong enough to be trained, initially I've lift the plant from his seedling bed, i moved her more on the side of the tent to have more space to bend her and give more open space to the lowest branch, after just 12 hours the plant was already fighting the training pointing the top cola to the closest source of light

First day of floweringโ€ฆthe rainy seasons has officially begun 15 May 2025. Luckily this is a sativa she could withstand the moisture. She surely spread out in the last week.

Black Cherry Gushers from Barney's Farm was a big plant with some seriously chunky nugs. The pistils stayed pretty light, but the trichomes were still on point. It's got that classic Barney's Farm quality โ€“ big yields and a unique look. Definitely a fun one to grow! I recently upgraded to the GrowPro Solutions Under Canopy lights, and wow, what a difference! The colors on my plants are seriously popping โ€“ they look so vibrant. Plus, I think it really helped them finish strong. If you're looking to boost your grow, I'd definitely recommend checking these out.

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. I HAVE LOTS OF DIFFERENT OPTIONS SO ILL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT. BUDS SEEM TO BE EXPLODING IN GROWTH. OH AND THANKS TO THE OUTDOOR GROWER THAT MESSAGED OFFERING TO HELP. I APPRECIATE THAT. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50ยฐF). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden.

Using some Neem oil and hydrogen peroxide ONLY ON MEDIUM (since I'm in flower), to get rid of these dumb fungus gnats I think they are the reason for the brown spots forming on the leaves. Installed a trellis this week to help spread out the canopy and improve airflow, however when I did this my dumbass accidentally snapped one of the colas, luckily I think it'll be ok because it seems to have only snapped the outer skin layer on only one side of that stem (I wrapped a piece of duct tape around the little snap to help secure it). This week went well I think I've got the fungus gnats under control, the stem I partially snapped still looks to be completely healthy and growing well so no complaints here successful 2nd week of flower๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
