Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️

5/3 WATERED EVERYTHING WITH A SHOT GLASS. STUNTED PURPLE PUNCH THAT TOTALLY SRIED OUT GOT HALF A SHOT GLASS. Doesn't seem possible but the plants look bigger and better than they did yesterday. Cups are really drying out fast. Takes a while for it to drink up that little shot glass of water. Sits right on top for a while. I know they'll tell me when they're ready to transplant but I'm planning about a week week and a half until transplant to the 3's. I'm moving my cage and getting supports setup ahead of time. Soil is properly stored. Need to sanitize grow bags and tools. I'm super excited for this year. At least this year I don't have to start out fixing others problems from clones. 5/4 Plants still continuing to grow at a rapid pace. Stunted purple punch is doing better. Plants seem like they are using more water. Soil seemed dry. Ill stop qnd ask my buddy but everything LOOKS awesome. UPDATE: I stopped and showed my buddy some pictures and videos and after getting some advice I'm considering increasing water intake on the 10th planet and the blueberry cheese. He said I could go up to 1 1/2 shot glasses or even two and he didn't think I'd see problems. Just watch for run off. I figured I'd weigh the dry cup of soil and see what the other plants weigh before I make my decision. This dude has definitely helped in the past and hasn't been wrong. I think either way it would be fine. I got a QUICK peak at them around 3pm and they were all "praying to the sun" and their was company so I didn't weigh the plants considering in that glance they looked even better than before! 5/5 SOMEWHERE HERE I MESSED UP THE DATE AND I CANT SEEM TO FIND WHETE SO IM JUST CORRECTING IT HETE AND MOVING FORWARD. I weighed a dry cup of soil which weighed about 180-190 grams today. One of the 10th planet seedlings weighed in at like 190 so they definitely are getting a dry cycle and need more water. Same with the Blueberry cheese. They were light and are growing like crazy. Thing is they look so perfect I don't wanna change anything. I spoke to my commercial buddy and he said I could increase to two shot glasses without issue he thought. I decided on a shot glass and a half for the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese Cake. I talked to another grower (my buddies mom whos very familiar with the strain) about Barney's purple punch and I guess they look good and take a while to really "take off". When I weighed some of the purple punch the weight of a small plant was in the 220's. I decided to try 'half a shot glass' instead of a full one for the purple punch. UPDATE: I watered between 5am and 6am and went to check around 11. It's 11:11 right now! I wish for a successful harvest and healthy plants! This morning the plants seemed a little droopy. It could've been in my head but looking at them after watering and they look substantially better. Leaves up! Praying to the sun! It's not going to be long until the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese will need to be transplanted. I just want to make sure I've got a solid rootball before I even think of transplanting. 5/6 WOW. Adjusting the water made the plants take off faster! I felt the cups and they want more room! Unfortunately I left my soil in the garage. I'm wondering how long it will take to warm up otherwise these girls would be on their new temporary 3 gallon homes. Purple punch REALLY took off. Might be good to give the soil a day or two to warm up. Tomorrow's my wife's birthday though....hope she likes transplanting cannabis....that was a joke. UPDATE: I sanitized a tote and mixed 3 part soil fox farm ocean forest, happy frog and 707 in a bin. I then chose the blueberry cheese cake to test for transplant. I was afraid plants were dry but I stupidly went ahead anyhow. I tried the cut the solo cup method and it wouldn't cut down all the way. Anyway u thought i lost that first one but I didn't. Not yet anyway. 45 mins later and they looked great. Still I had put everything away and decided to give the others a few more days. Plus my wife's birthday is tomorrow. I did get some outdoor prep done. 5/7 NO TRANSPLANT SHOCK. All 5 blueberry cheese are in their new homes and loving it. It's my wife's birthday so I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow to transplant the 10th planet and maybe a couple more for the purple punch. We'll see. Watered the plants in solos. Purple punch got half a shot glass. 10th planet got a full one. Soil should be nice and moist for the transplant. Oh and that ripping the solo cup tip sucks. It NEVER goes all tge way to the bottom and it's like thicker or something down there. Important to have slim scissors or something to snip that tiny bottom piece at the end where it tapers. 5/8 Blueberry Cheese Cake is doing great and doesn't seem like it has any stress. Didn't water. Successfully transplanted 10th planet. Nice white roots. Looks like it's going to be a good year. More wotlrk to do. 5/9 10th planet is looking GREAT! Transplants have gone great this year. Purple punch will be transplanted tonight or tomorrow. I watered the purple punch with less than a shot glass. I'd like to get them transplanted today. I have an idea this is going to be a good season. UPDATE: Went to the house around 6 and brought in a couple more bags of soil so that I can finish my transplants tomorrow. Team #nowater lol seems to be doing great lol. I'll give then water tomorrow. As long as they aren't doing so good. With everything that's going on seeing these succeed feels great. Healthiest plants I've grown so far.

I have been flashing for two weeks now I thought it was ready last week but this planet is slow to harvest I think a week or two it will be ready Left in two days of darkness to encourage finish. Worked on half of the plant

In the beginning of this week ( Monday in the late afternoon) I started seeing some burnt tips. Not really a big deal if you give less nutrients in the future, but i don't like it. Thats why i decided to flush my plants and check the run-off. PH levels where decent but the EC was to high. Not a suprise because I forced them a bit last week by giving some more nutrients. So right now my PH and EC for the kushes are arround PH 5.8-6 with 1.3-1.5 EC and for my shamans PH 6.3-6.4 with ec 1.5-1.6 After my flush, I gave all the plants some Canna RHIZOTONIC ( root stimulator). I advice everyone to give root stimulator after stressing the plant out with like flushing. In this grow i always weight my pots, therefor i always know when to perfectly feed them. They dronk 9 to 10 liters of water/feeding in like 96hours(4 full days) which is insane because it wasn't that sunny/hot (evaporation) and they are not trees being in the open ground. and maybe the most importent thing is that normaly your roots will stress a bit because of overwatering(flushing) and will go into a shutdown or having a hard time for a period as a result that your pots will stay heavy(full of water) for some days. In my case, this didn't happen at all. Wednesday I sprayed all the leafs with Canna Cure for some nice leaf nutrients,getting rid of minor trips and to prevent other unwanted renters. Friday I started feeding them again with nutrients, like 2-3 liters each plant and today I gave them water 2-3 liters each plant with only Enzymen in it. It was a crazy thirsty week for them with an average of 1.6-1.7 liters a day😅 Sadly one lower branch got damaged and had to get rid of it but I didn't mind that much since these buds where far behind other buds in developement. I placed one bud under the microscope for fun and saw insane amounts of thc on it haha, and that for just week 5 of flowering for a outside grow. Made a picture of it, just take a look at it. - Critical kushes started getting into preflower, finnally!! but still, only 6 weeks left before it gets to cold outside. - Did some LST again because the criticalkushes are still stretching. They might still stretch for another 1 to 2 weeks, its getting out of hand haha. - Shamans and the critical kushes get different feeding schedules, Should had done that waaaaay earliyer but I didn't care about it until now. - Forgot to supercrop my plants LOL, for the shamans it is to late, don't want to stress them out in their stage, but i did in on the kushes, since they are only 1 week in flowering, still growing a bit, it would't harm them that much. No need for steering them around, already done that. Just doing it to stress them out a bit so they will send more nutrients to the branches for bigger yield. Have to keep remind myself that this is just an outside fun grow but I just can't help myself buying stuff and wanting to do more/better. Hope you guys enjoyed watching and reading.

Currently in pre flower added general hydro nutrients on Wednesday to ease mY plant into that and then will do research on how to approach during flowering. I am happy that my plant is well I almost broke another fan leaf but was able to tape it up and now it’s okay. I plan on taking the tape off in a week or so probably. Excited to see where I will be at in 3 weeks :)

Aug 31: Fast. I got home from work today and could see a notable increase on the flowers. Very exciting. Sep 2: plants are fine but we’re having yet another bad air day due to wildfire smoke. The red tint on the photos is due to smoke. This is pretty bad, but it was worse a few times in May. It’s supposed to clear later this weekend. Sep 3: still smoky but rained a bit which helps. Gorilla Cookies has the best flowers but also seemed to catch the most rainwater in the buds. Gave each branch a shake to help prevent problems. Sep 4: soil is holding water since the last compost tea. This reduction in infiltration rate can happen apparently, and the trick is to not overwater it. It’s also cool today so minimal water used. Sep 5: cool today with gusty winds that blew over Bruce and Gelato. Small footprint of the 5 gallon bag isn’t quite big enough to be stable when plant is this big. Trade off with using a more easily moved size, and that should also help promote early flowering.

I dried 6 days small buds and 9 days for big buds. I gained an unexpected 37 grams. 😊

Growing beautifully

Look this beauty, look the foliage. I’m in love. She grew up in a flash: not even nine weeks old and we are beautifully mature, very fast and very very interesting, we love her. Our AUTO TEST #1, a strain that we had the honor of testing well in advance, is a true beauty. Long and united flowers, resilient at the right point especially on the flowers, very beautiful, it gave us a final foliage, there is a very, very interesting shade of color on the leaves. I make you laugh, I was sure it was a new release, I read the description I was definitely sure it was that one, but no, I'm an idiot, you never stop learning and this stupendousness has yet to come out. fire. I took in rivers of water, the first week a liter and a half a day, the second I flushed the toilet at about 50 liters at a time until the water went very white. PH 6 during flush. Try all the autoflowering daughters of #gelato41 (My fav Guava), highly recommended, visit the GHSC website and choose, you can never go wrong, classics, autos, photoperiods, all scary stuff. Feb 27th Since the flush, I have had a hard time keeping the humidity in check. The dehumidifier (domestic) just seems to be kicking out way to much heat vs moisture removal. Tent temp spiked to 27, moving dehumidifier outside tent, building tiny duct... - doors are cracked, room is venting, extra fan aimed at each side of fabric pots, blowing on the fabric/dirt to assist in drying... - looking at reasonable dehumidifiers that would assist in a 4x4 tent. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Tiny room, heading into a humid Spring environment... Feb 28 the plants look great though. Resin crystals are piling-up. Calyx's are doubling in size while the buds picks up size and density ! pics tonight - day 4 since the flush, hoping tonight sees the end of moisture retention - new A/C / dehumidifier brought into service. target 39% Rh and 23c - whole tent got shuffled to fit the new gear. go figure. - Buds look great, they seem to have some sparkle, and definitely, the calyx are still expanding - with the humidity finally in-check, and it’s day 4 since the flush... the plants are going to get a drink of Molasses tonight. Moisture meter says I’m borderline. Green lite at this stage = 7 L. - it took a bit to get the balance in the room established, now that everything is under-sized, compared to the A/C Humidifier. - With the exhaust cranked, it took More fresh-air into the tent, to help steady the climate out Mar 2nd -many of the white hairs that were all over the buds, have turned orange/brown and are now wrapping up the buds - 7th day since the Flush, all seems good - trichomes are checked daily and the move to Amber seems to be on hold, while most of the others are turning cloudy. Bonus - humidity is under control. 40-45% now. later this weekend it'll go to >40% for the final week. Mar 5th - Buds continue to fill up and the Yellow leaves are climbing higher up the plant. - found quite a bit of new Amber, so there may only be a day or two left of light. -leaves are a bit limp, split a gallon of water/Molasses between the plants to get them through the next few days, then it’s 36 hrs of dark - the Calyx growth has been crazy the last couple of days. Buds are definitely getting phat as the Calyx are popping up everywhere - smell is sharp and almost dark - entering week 11 of Flower tomorrow, things seem to be finishing up nicely. Lots of milky Trichomes with a splash of Amber here and there. I’ll give them till Sunday.

Hey Growers. It’s going great around here. These girls are happy, healthy and growing like mad. They’ve chunked up so much that they’re starting to lay down. It’s just a couple at the moment so I’ll keep an eye on them and see if intervention is needed. The trichomes are so gritty it feels like table salt between your fingers and the Cali has a orange/lemon citrus and woody scent. The Jack is sour skunk and the cookies Kush is a sweet sugary scent. I’m not 100% sure if they’re fox tailing from light stress or just natural Kush characteristics. I’ll be keeping an eye out for hermie’s and stress. I’ve added some Green Planet Rezin, as I think it’s awesome and helps with aroma and makes oily terps. I’m thinking this will be my last top dress and I’ll probably just do half dose and top up with monster bloom for the next couple waters then drop everything except cal and Rezin. Happy Growing 🌱

*increased ppm from 1050 to 1100 *i don’t see a lot of bud production but they do show a lot of heavy frost. *one of the strains has long colas while the other ones remain short.

Fast forward two weeks and they are showing ! Out of six plants only two wore males . Switch up to bloom nutrients let’s see how that goes 🤙🏽
