Week 7 Flower We've finally started flush 💦 on Day 43. I still run EM1 at 1ml/ltr as it goes a long way once activated/stretched. It's always going to be a benefit to keep any microbes you can in the coco. You can also use Mammoth P throughout flush, but due to its price I just stick to EM1 in flush. There's plenty of other microbes that can be used too. I flush around twice the pots' volume at 6pH. But before flooding the pot I slowly pour water through the centre of the pot, around the stem, in order to take a true reading of the ppm and pH of the run off. If the ppm/ec reads a lot higher than your average feeding throughout bloom, then there's been issues such as a lockout, incorrect pH, over feeding etc. This wasn't the case, as this girls' was at the right level. If the pH is too high or low, I adjust the pH of the rest of the water that'll be flushed to try to fix it. Again, this wasn't the case with this girl as she had a perfect pH 👌👍 Just before all of the water has gone through the pot, I take one last reading from her last bit of run off. The ppm should be down to no more than 100ppm for the first flush (+starting ppm of water if using tap water). After the first flush the ppm value of the run off will quickly go all the way down to 0, or at least below 50ppm (+tap water ppm). I use tap water that is between 150-190ppm, but I'm looking to switch to RO as soon as I can. I still get a very good flush, but I think using RO water will be the next step in getting a more thorough flush as it won't contain even the small amount of nutrients and metals that tap water contains (along with any harmful chemicals). Always remember to bubble or let the water sit for 24-48hrs before feeding to your plants. That goes for all feedings in every stage of growth if using tap water. Because I keep fairly low temps in the Den she's starting to turn a beautiful dark purple. Her buds are still swelling and smelling like a nice gassy OG, with hints of citrus/tropical fruits. I'm really looking forward to taking this girl down, but after at least another week! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Last week in Veg 😶 Defoliated them and took small vegetation off from the base. Flushed them today as well with above concentrations. After the switch, I will take Rhyzotonic out of the feed gradually in a week and add Canna Boost. I have set the time to 12 - 12 now 💤 And I have taken a clone off of Renaissane # 2nd pheno (1st in the row), hopefully it lives, I will keep posted.

Can't wait to see them all grow at once; as you can see, it's almost a full tent. Might be a headache, but one I'm looking forward to (:

First week of flower went smoothly. Some stretch the first week but nothing crazy. She was thirsty this morning and watered a few hours before video/photos, hence the droopy bottom leaves. First feeding occurred this week. Will increase feeding concentrations if major stretching occurs and switch out grow big for tiger bloom as flowering progresses. Will lower light a few inches this week and see how she responds. Will slowly decrease humidity during flower to increase vpd. Lastly, will start to defoliate as we move through flower. she tolerated the first topping well. i had initially used LST, but have now decided against it and will try FIMing on her. i'm trying to develop a nice bush.

High temperatures and nutrient burn. At this point i have no idea what i am doing. Every now and then SD2 and SD3 release typical weed smell but apart from that no other smell. The stems upon rubbing and touching smell like cinammon,cloves and orange zest.It reminds me of fanta drink.

Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts. Shortly after they were switched to flowering (after week 3) the plants continue to stretch and then start to develop their first flowers. Now in week 7 all plants have very nice flower clusters all over the plant and side branches. They have grown to 45 cm (=Shiva Skunk on left side) and 40 cm (Serious Kush on right side of aisle) in height respectively and all plants have a nice dark green color, which shows they are healthy and also that the Advanced Nutrients schedule works like a treat. The Q6W-Gen.2 LED-Lamps are now dimmed to 100% (=three green LEDs on the dimmer) and work on FULL POWER, which ensures full fledged flower production. Both varieties have now started to exude their typical aroma. The Shiva Skunk starts to smell musky and sweet, while the Serious Kush smells 'gassy' and 'fuely' like its OG-Kush heritage. The flower clusters on the Serious Kush appear to grow denser than the clusters on the Shiva Skunk.

NCH x SB is starting to fade significantly and has stopped throwing out new pistils, trichomes are significantly cloudy and a few on the sugar leaves are beginning to turn amber. Debating whether I should pull her at full cloudy in a week or two or wait until I see more amber. Sour Kush is still fattening up and has a lot of white pistils yet to mature, trichomes are of course a mixture of clear/milky, no fade on this plant yet. Tangerine Dream is making great progress in flowering and bud sites have thickened up considerably, trimmed a majority of larfy bud sites on this plant since the discrepancy in the distance to the light was so large. Water pH 6.15, EC 0.4. Feed pH 6.15, EC 0.717.

This week was absolutely torturous had an accident in which one of my plants was damaged fortunately I do not believe that all is lost I will just have to hold her back on sending her into flour with the rest until she is completely healthy I have sent one into flower a bit early just to see if I could and seems to be working swimmingly

The buds are fattening up, getting there… Some colours appeared, the pistils are turning pink and the sugar leaves got a slight orange-ish tint on the edges. The smell gets stronger, but nothing unpleasant at all. I will change the watering schedule to 4L in every 3 days

Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally.
