the waterworks come covered in some olie residue and i only did a few rinses. I think it kept the ph high for some time and i did a few more water cycles after complete setup. Everytime getting rit of more oil film. I like the bucketd rinsed the leca pepples in high ph tap water and again it took me some time to get ph down but this time no oil residue :) After a few days i felt i got ph under control so started the canna nutes schedule.

So far so good. Going to up her nutrients I may repot one of them soon Repotted one I think I’m going to put the other one straight into a ac infinity 5 gallon grow bag with coco perlite mix. Interested to see if transplanting more than once makes a big difference vs straight into final contain

Back again for another update from down under. Well Its been a week of unusual weather here-actually most of Australia is having bizarre weather ATM with flooding rains mixed in with high 30's heat and damaging winds. This is in part why I now grow more smaller and better trained plants rather than a couple of larger tree's. One bad storm can literally snap a tree in half so unless your ladies are protected from the wind you WILL have issues outside. Train them, keep them low to the ground and stake them just to be safe ok. Mine are just greening up and bushing out nicely this week, not much more to report other than wondering how much longer before they show me those lil white hairs-cmon ladies its nearly feb and your not flowering yet? Any day now im sure. Hash plant is growing a 1-2cms a day easily, ZkittleZ is bulking up now while Caramelo just seems to be growing more and more shoots-Not used to sativias grown like this-do I cut some off to improve quality or leave em alone to improve quantity? I cant even count how many heads there are now. But the big news is my lemon haze variegated X sour Diesel hybrid seems to be staying female so far- no leaf color at all but the first 3rd gen hybrid that doesnt look like either parents but more of a middle ground of the two, its stayed female so far!! Normally only the ones that looked really sour D like stayed female but this one has a lighter leaf color than normal Sour Ds, but also more the leaf shape of the lemon haze side. I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

My choice of grow medium at this point seems to be spot on, I am holding my breath looking for signs of weakens and besides not really watering this week, this medium retain water well, does not clog up like normal soil, I love how the pig manure acts like pebbles and it retains those pebble balls though watering erodes the manure, it helps with air flow within the root system, and the added plus is I turn the soil, almost on a daily to make sure it’s always, fluffy and moist, not wet and clogging soil. Unknown alike Monday nee an operation, just need to buy a bag of compost so I can elevate them so the can get better airflow, plus I do not want to poke hole in their pots, though I am going to stress them out badly, I will get to see how good my homemade nutrient boost works. Regardless of this con, Unknown is growing with a lot of promise, let me hope and be patient that my LST will encourage that required new growth.

The caterpillars were in fact not gone, as I suspected. Already two bud rots on Ozz, both with a caterpillar inside. Let’s see the extent of the damage but’m I expecting the worst. On the other hand her two sisters don’t show any signs of pest. Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.
