Week 5 with the 40L pots and first week of flowering. The plants filmed at the end they where from a diffrent tent but i put them inside my big tent to finish their flower period, they where grown in 11L pots whole veg & flower period. The main grow that this post is about are 40L pots. I just had to show the buds in the 11L pots ;)

Been a bit of a strange plant the older gelato..small bud sites hoping she pops but I don’t have much hope for her it’ll be a case of ‘quality over quantity’ I think but that’s all good she smells amazing so frosty and sticky! The smaller gelato is still in preflower I took all the undergrowth away so she’s recovering from that but she looks good too!

Hey! Just back well They are getting better and better soon need to start to flower them. Fertilization happens 3x a week with the mixture of Biobizz family (Biobloom, Topmax, BioGrow, Epsom salt, Gunokalong extract.) They grow as hell. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off, 200 ml water per plant a day, humidity approx 35 percent. Day 53: They are bushy keep doing LST on them. Day 56: I constantly do LST for them and also some lollipopping so I removed the bottom unwanted leaves especially the yellow ones. From tomorrow I provide darkness for 2 days and then Monday the beggining of the 9th week I will switch to 12/12.

Growth has been great so far the main crown end up breaking .....see pic nxt week

What up Grow Fam. Weekly update on these beauties. They've stopped the stretching part and now started focusing on flower sites. Seeing the flowers swell almost daily is wild to watch. I started to drop the night temps down to low 60's and around 70 with the lights on. All in all Happy Growing.

June 6, 2025 the apple fritter continued to have a great growth rate just nonstop growing. I feel like this plant grows throughout the night. It’s getting energy off that damn moon at this point but continued the same regiment every seven days given it a boogie brew, heavy harvest tea every four days using pure Protein and soluble seaweed been checking the soil, moisture levels. I was suspecting that my holes were getting dry in fact, my holes are very wet and I can slow down on my watering which I’ve been doing very minimal watering anyways, but due to the near 300 gallon hole size they retain water extremely well Therefore I have actually slowed down on my watering more this year than I ever have before the leafhoppers this week were a little more aggressive also applied name seed meal and name seed spray to the girls, hoping to deter the little leafhoppers from messing with my stuff but all in all week five apple fritter is doing great expecting big big things from her

Updating two days early but wicked happy with the progress so far. Starting to understand the strain and what it likes to be fed so just trying to adapt to it and really lock in on a smooth feeding schedule. Have been against pruning in the past but couldn't resist attempting "Nebulas Manifold" and finally topped after the 6th node finally developed this morning. Topped on the 3rd node with leaving a stump for connection and trimmed the remaining nodes below. Was pretty surprised at how much they were reaching when I check in on them tonight but happy to see they're still crankin. Time to wait for the 4th node and top again. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 6 Blooming beautifully. The colas are really taking shape, although still tiny but I’m happy with it so far. I added basil in the tent because I read it deters pests because of the pungent smell. Had a slight issue with the run off this week so I assume there’s a build up of salt in the soil ? I’m gonna have to read up about what to do next. What do you think by the images in video? Watered her with just alg-a-mic and ph’d down tap water to see if this helps. Apart from that she’s smelling lovely in early hours when the electrical a switch off. Sorry if my first diary has been a bit pony so far but I’ve had to play catch up. And I’m All up to date now.

No problems throughout the entire grow, a very easy plant, literally automatic. It produced a lot of resin and smelled delicious, very good. Low production due to the small 3L pot, cold, and only 12 hours of light. But the quality is outstanding.

Ya estamos en plena floración y con las luminarias a max potencia... Evidentemente el aire acondicionado también está trabajando durante la fase de encendido. Flowa-Bloom es la estrella de los nutrientes a incorporar, pero todos son importantes... Así que sigo la tabla de fertilización de JUJU Royal al pie de la letra. Eso si, primero humedezco bien el sustrato con agua, para aprovechar bien la solución con los nutrientes y que no filtre por las macetas textiles. Riego cada cuatro días.

i went on holiday and installed an automatic watering pump...seems like it didn't activate as planed...when i got back after 7 days the pots were compleatly dry... i removed alot of dead foliage from beneath...i would have removed it for better airflow soon anyways...so not much harm taken... after a big watering they looked fine again budgrowth didn't seem to be affected by the complete dryout...let's see where this goes...buds look perfectly fine so far

I finally named her... Sarah Lee. 😁 I moved her upstairs where I can control the environment better. Michigan weather is a beast and my basement was a bad idea for a summer tent grow. The AC upstairs is making her happy and helps with humidity. So boom. She is flowering nicely! 😍 Water (pH 6.58) about 1.25 gal every 2 days now. She's thirsty. Still not full strength on Nutes, next water maybe more Tiger Bloom. I still use vinegar for pHing. No issues at this time, except humidity. Oh, and my cat is obsessed. I'm not wanting to smoke cat hair, so I put up curtains. I'm also not upset I didn't do any LST. This plant is thriving. Next time I will try LST. I just want to get good bud off an inside grow. 😊 Going into week six and I'm super excited. 😎👍🏼🌱 One last thing. I changed her light schedule to 18-6. I was 19-5 and read a blog where the grower increased dark an hour at flower and it really bulked the buds. We'll see. GL y'all.
