High temperatures, high transpiration, high turgor pressure, and lots of cell elongation. Cannabis plants can sense and respond to their surroundings. They don't have brains like humans, but they have evolved sophisticated ways to perceive and react to various environmental cues, including light, gravity, touch, water, sound, and even the presence of other plants. This ability, known as plant perception, allows them to adjust their growth, defend themselves, and even communicate with each other. Infrared light, particularly near-infrared (NIR), can influence plant growth and development by impacting various processes including initiation and elongation. UVB radiation inhibits stem and hypocotyl elongation in plants. Moderate UV-B exposure can cause a decrease in stem and leaf elongation, leading to a more compact plant architecture. Higher UV-B intensities, like 7.5 kJ·m−2, can lead to reduced elongation. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. This effect is particularly noticeable under LED grow lights, with great stress comes great dense clusters. Hello, temperature, my old friend! Goodbye, money on AC. Week 4 has begun. LST (Low Stress Training) is starting to show its effects: most of the shoots have grown past the rim of the pot and are being tied down further away from the center—this will continue until the stretch begins. During the stretch phase, no further training will be done; the plants will be allowed to grow upwards undisturbed. I’m curious to see how many shoots will be in the desired position by then, and whether all the shoots or bud sites will be on an even level after the stretch. Until then, defoliation will continue as needed, and tying down will be adjusted accordingly.

So I harvested on day 70, Pretty excited, I started with 12 seeds, 1 never popped, 2 got messed up in shell, but I hoped they would make it, they did, but they are embarrassing, I one the root system barley existed the other got so bushy and I didn't stay on top of it so it was all frost, no actual buds, pfff. THE OTHER GIRLS more than made up for it, I changed the light cycle to 10 on, 14 off for the last 4 days of light, and then the last 2 days no lights at all. Super happy so far, oh, I did not water at all the last 4 days, I thought that may help my rh during the dry, starting the dry a little on the plant, nope, my rh is high. still happy

Final stretch, next week it's time to flush them. The smell is really strong when I open the bedroom door, I believe in an extremely satisfactory result.. ❄️💪🌲 ***The photo of the trichomes ended up getting mixed up, so I'll post photos of all the plants.

Big week here. Got the girls transplanted to their 7 gallon pots. First time with pots this big. Gonna really let them grow. Got a little water with BT and mycorrhiza.

Looking okay, the highest leaves are burning quite a lot, but I’m not worried a lot as the buds are forming nicely. I’ll be feeding a little less from now on as she doesn’t seem to need a full dose every watering.

*Week 5 of flowering* Mimosa 1 & 2 are progressing accordingly, 0 signs of deficiencies. Though both plants are coming along fine Mimosa 1 is lagging a little behind but not a cause for concern. Water/Nute feeds have increased and the light cycle remains the same. Mimosa (2) appears to have shrunk in size but that is incorrect, Main colas were tied down to trellis.

Pbb has been chopped! Saw a decent amount of amber trichomes and the calyxes were quite swollen also she has been fading beautifully for quite some time now. Went into the dark for 48hours then I trimmed any dead leaves off and a few larger easy to reach leaves. She’s hanging in a dark tent now with a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent. Ducting to my flower tent to keep it from stagnating. Frost is starting to fade and swelling quite well. Afghani is getting a much more complex smell not as sweet as before still looks like looks like at least 2 weeks for her. They have all just been getting water for a while now.

Day 21 flower: they were thirsty. Work had me away a few days. So defoliation and 1750ml of H2O. Ppfd set to 725. Day 22 Flower. These flowers took almost 1 gallon of H2O. That’s with no run off. Ppfd is set to 750. 6.49ph water. The soil was dry after 2 days. So I am going to have to watch the water. 1 more week and then we apply the bloom. Day 23flower also added my heater and they are bouncing back. I amended the soil. My ph meter died so I over night ordered a new one.. Day 25 flower. Ok def moisture and temp. Side note I was not home for due to some medical stuff. So today ph set 6.5, more water.3500ml with no run off. And the plants looks way better. Also temps were drifting close to under 60. So temps at 77 and humidity 55. I also think when I started I never really saturated the pots the most water I ever gave was 1/2 gallon twice. So I think from the start I was battling a 1/2 dry pot.

Nun war es aber wirklich Zeit für den Umzug in den Endtopf. Ich denke mit der neuen Erde werden die kleinen auch schon bald wieder frisch aussehen. Noch stehen sie auf der Vegiseite, werden dann aber auch bald auf die Blüteseite umziehen. Da dort aber noch die autos unter 18h stehen, dürfen sie dort erstmal noch ein bisschen was an Höhe zulegen, bevor es in die Blüte geht.
