30 days since flip day Almost half of the expected flowering time have passed. They look and are doing fabulous - despite of me making some mistakes. They are a little overfed now and the soil pH dropped to 5. I did corrective watering with high pH and Athena Cleanse (mild hypochlorous acid) - should help remediate the lockout I got them into. One started loosing bottom leaves so I need to act fast. Hope it helps. Probably next watering will be higher than normal pH also to stabilize it at higher levels. The Sugar Cane name seems to be SUPER ACCURATE. I did never saw the breeder or gorewers report this trait for this strain - but it is literally a sugar cane. The stems are covered with trichomes. And yeah - thats normal, I know. But not like that. Top 1/3 length of each stem is stisky like a bud. Covered in full grown capitate-stalked trichomes with huge heads. 🤯🤯🤯 This is crazy. Both of my Sugar Cane have those. I have never even hear of such trait and boom - two plants at once.

Nutrient dosing and ph control would be awesome but likely too pricey— but I’m a geek and this will be fun! I’d prefer a prebuilt system but I’m not totally opposed to building an Arduino/pi style solution (reliability and time to get it right are concerns tho - plus I have an arcade cabinet project I’d like to get to soon) — **ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVICE ANYONE??? To do list: I picked up some angle aluminum and I plan to finally make a single frame for the numerous LED lights Mount things to the wall (temp and humidity sensors, timers, utility light, etc) General cleanup and house keeping - wire management etc Install new portable air conditioner in the basement - this will be a bit of a project - casement windows and other issues Hopefully this week: install a utility sink in the basement and tie into the water lines and waste lines of the house (no more carrying water and waste upstairs!!)

I wanted to see if I could push my skills, by doing newbie outdoor mistakes like mold, heat and cold issues, pests, animals, nute problems and limiting myself to a budget of £50 for the plant so I could prove you dont need a fancy set up to get good grade cannabis. all it takes is skill, time and love for the plant. bare in mind I stay in Scotland where the misconception is you can't grow cannabis out here at all. well that's wrong I've had lemon haze grow outdoors fine that was a meter and a half tall. and this peyote reached 50cm max until I had to cut the main stem as I was having growth issues with the main stem holding the plant back. but tune in next week when is dried,smoked a little and then after that cured. I know this community is one of the friendliest I have met but I just don't want people making assumptions biased on 1 plant I've posted.

Seed sat in glass of luke warm rain water till it sank , then moved to paper towel for total 24 hrs till sprouted then planted in its main soil medium 45L, popped less then 24 hours ... Bueno, le salió la radícula en las primeras 24h, pero quise esperar a que se desarrollara más antes de transpartarla al sustrato, tras pasar más de 48h me quedé sorprendido que siguiera (aparentemente) igual, la pase a la tierra(💦mojada en el centro con 100ml del agua que utilicé para germinarla), se me hizo eterno esperar a que sacara la cabeza, tremenda alegría al 4 día ❤️🙌🌱, al ver el sustrato relativamente seco volví a mojar💦(esta vez con la mitad, 50ml aprox.). Decidí comer hummus (como ella jijiji) y ponerle el plástico de invernadero con la idea de manter la humedad alta💦💦💦

Последний полив был просто вода. Вроде девочкам лучше. Да. По мимо всего прочего из за передозировки фосфором вылезли дефициты цинка магния и железа. Постараюсь выправить ситуацию энзимами и порцией микроэлементов. Вроде приходят в себя девочки. Наблюдаем дальше

Day 50 since seed touched soil. They overgrew everything !!! Cookie is nuts, so stacked, always happy, leaves are on healthy part, but could eat more ;))))) . I think i was late with top up, they developed fast and used a lot. I check run off for ppm, but thought 800 still ok, it was not. So big last top up !!! ALL NUTRITIONS ARE GRAMS TO POT LITRES !!!! Neutralise is in real measurement only. Great White - 3 g each pot Biosys - 3g each pot Charge - 30 g each pot Life-Cycle - 60 g each pot Bio-Blend - 100 g each pot Watered straight after, 3.5 liters went in. Some girls are almost brushing Mars Hydro TSL2000 and i see no issues if air is moved and temp with humidity allows it. Great light, plants grow very well, too well ;)))) will do new clearing after two waterings, want girls to eat first, make bigger roots, then i will resize again to concentrate more on tops. MARS HYDRO TSL2000: 300W, Flower 2'x4', Veg 3'x5' It's recommended for beginners. Low-budget & high-efficiency. Took down first time ever LST while still growing. Needed space of pot, for last top up and i think they will breath better without, branches are stiff, i would add silica to feed at such time, to stiff them, but i go with one line only, just full beans ;))) Happy growing !!!

This was the boss lady’s first grow. This was under a spiderfarmer sf1000 which did a amazing job. I’m really surprised with the light in a 2x2. It did wonderfully. Now to the bubblegum. Once again fastbuds delivers for us with a plant that does exactly as they said it would. She didn’t top the plant or do any HST just from a time standpoint for the originals contest. This one could have actually went a little longer, however we have cloudy and amber trichomes already, and we flushed the last week. So with the contest ending today, might as well let her come down. This was a great plant for a beginner like they said it was. Even without me standing on her shoulder, she could have grown this one. The density of these buds is down right surprising. Super dense and super sticky. She smells exactly like big league bubblegum chew. We can’t wait until this dries and cures. I’m sure it will be amazing. I’ll update this diaries as soon as it’s dry with the final weight. Thanks for looking!

🌱 Sticky Broccoli – Grow Diary 🌱 Week 6 | Vegetative Stage | Coco + Perlite This week Sticky Broccoli was successfully transplanted into a larger pot ? The root system had filled the previous container, making it the right time to upsize. Transplant went smoothly with minimal disturbance to the root ball. Fresh coco + perlite medium added to allow continued root expansion 🌱 Plant remains healthy with strong green foliage 🌿 No visible transplant shock so far. Watered lightly after transplant to help settle the medium 💧 Environment kept stable to reduce stress. Canopy continues to develop with strong branching. Stem structure remains thick and supportive 💪 Next step will be topping the plant to promote additional main colas ✂️ A SCROG net will also be installed soon to begin spreading the canopy evenly 🌐 📈 Focus moving forward: allow roots to establish in the new pot, then begin topping and SCROG training for optimal canopy control 🚀

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability.
