Due to construction and revamping of our space, we had to leave all seedlings in their germination dome for approximately a month before getting them into veg. In order to not run into any space issues within the small dome, these young plants were kept under a low-wattage fluorescent tube to avoid any growth which may have been "too vigorous." VEG WEEK 1: 03/09/2021: (Image 1) Each plant was potted into, and fed with the following nutrients during transplant: 1. 5l FF F1 medium 2. GHF: Biogrow - 15g worked into medium 3. Wormcastings (workd into medium and astop dress) 4. Organics Matter Mycoroot Supreme -placed at the bottom of the planting hole. 5. Watered each plant with a Silicon Plus feed solution . 07/09/2021: (Image 2) - All plants are now in 5l pos with Freedom Farms F1 medium, and are in their new veg home under a 3500K 320W Quantum Board. - The 3 weakest seedlings of the total 19 seeds (1x Crit and 2x PC) were placed on the left side of the tent, and in different pots, as they are obviously struggling and may not even make it into our final flower room.

A few days late on the update for this one. She is the shortest plant in the bunch and looking like she is going to put on some nice buds. Gave them a pinch of beastie bloomz today so they have plenty of feed to build those buds

Through week 5 of flower and all is generally good. The whole tent stinks like hell of berries, pine and earthy Kush. They’re all presenting something a little different in terms of growth but still very similar terp profiles and bud structure. Seed maturation is showing on some of the lower nodes as well. We’re getting much closer here. Hopefully not more than a couple weeks but we’ll see. #1 will go off first for sure. She’s showing a progressing N deficiency that likely isn’t fixable but it does remain possible she’s simply ending her cycle. If so, it’ll be a trait worth noting on the F2 run. Until next week, ✌️! Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Stay tuned - with a little luck, this cross is gonna be straight 🔥😎👌.

During the third week of vegetation I started practicing Mainling's technique. To do this, I patched the plant at the third node and cut all the underlying shoots. ✂️🌱 I tied the two main branches with string to keep them down. The plant appears to be responding well and shows no signs of excessive stress. ✔️

The grow was super easy, rapid growth and incredible strength, no deficiencies..fed 3/4 strength General Hydroponics nutrient line. Ended up topping her two times on multiple branches, giving her a total of 11 tops. Overall medium height with an amazing manifold and thick stem. Harvested on day 62, with a 10 day flush and no darkening stage. An absolutely great strong structure being able to hold it's weight of 132 Grams⚖️️. Right up until harvest day when I went to move her she finally bent but never broke or snapped 💯. Will be in my constant rotation. Recommended completely 💯👏🍍 🔥

They surprised me how fast they reached the finish line. I've been flushing them with only water for a few days now. I'm quite pleased by the results, considering that this is my first time in coco. The trichs are getting 50/50 clear/milky and over, so it's harvest time this following week. There's a purple theme going on and I enjoy watching it :D I'm quite sure it's because of the low temps at night.

I'm adding week 2 first, then I'll go back to week 1 and fill in all the details on my set up and strategy. But at this point the CBD Medi Kush is 2 weeks out of the humidity dome. I sprouted these seeds in a paper towel again (even though I swore it off previously) . I started with 3 seeds and all 3 sprouted within 48 hours, transplanted the seeds to soil with the roots sticking out of the shell about 1/2 inch (or 1 cm) then only 2 of the 3 seeds grew out of the soil. Also, I'm growing 2 DinaFem DinaMed CBD plants also from seed and had the EXACT same experience with the 3 DinaMed seeds. I still feel I have the best success rate with putting the seed directly in soil. I'll be planting seeds directly in soil from now on. If I try something else again please slap me 😉 Anyway, since out of the humidity dome both plants are looking great! Nice and bushy looking little seedling. I don't plan on feeding anything for a while and let the plants use up the nutrients in the soil.

This week has gone good. The pineapple is 50 days old and is doing fine, it's looking like when I topped her I may have fimmed one of the top colas. Jack herer is also 50 days old and is looking real nice. Gorilla cookies is 56 days old and furthest along. She is really throwing out the pistils. Lemon pie is 51 days old and I can't tell what's wrong, she is very droopy. I have tried 24hr without water and she looked worse. I will just let her run the course but am now not expecting a good outcome. Max 26.5 deg Avg 23.1 deg Min 18.2 deg Max 60% Avg 50% Min 40%

Going great. Smell has become an issue this week with all the rain storms were receiving. The high humidity has my carbon filter pretty much useless. I’m in California so I’m not worried about legality. That said I live in a townhome so I’m not exactly trying to upset or advertise to my neighbors. Not too much I can do though. Getting excited and also not looking forward to trim. Looks to be about 2-3 weeks out...maybe 4-5 on the Sativa plant...or more.
