Sep 1: there might be a bit of lower leaf damage on WP1 after the 2 C night here two nights ago. Otherwise everything seems fine and the buds are progressing. Sep 2: removed some yellowing fan leaves that had been damaged by cold temps. Sep 3: WP1 has finally stopped getting taller and is starting to flower. Good thing too cuz the days get short pretty fast now and it will be iffy as to whether this plant will finish in time. Sep 6: Well, I spoke too soon as WP1 is still getting taller, and it grew 4 inches in 3 days. This far north, it should be flowering not vegging by early September. Oh well. Lots of insect life on WP1 (ladybugs, spider, flys, few ants even) and a few aphids so it seems to be in a balance and the plant is fine. WP2 in the city was force flowered a while ago and is progressing nicely. These are in small 5-gallon pots in an attempt to limit their size and to encourage flowering.

Today marked harvest day. Trichome Check: A final inspection confirmed the ideal moment—mostly cloudy trichomes with 10% amber, delivering the perfect mix of potency, flavor, and effect for me. Buds are fully resinous, and carry an intensely rich aroma: sour fruit, citrus, and that underlying gassy funk Sour Frootz is known for. Harvest Process: • Whole-plant harvested • Plants were cut at the base, intact, and hung upside down • Leaves were left on for a slow dry to protect terpene profile and promote even moisture loss • Drying environment set to ~17–19 °C with 50–60% RH • Complete darkness and steady airflow maintained This method should allow for a 7–14 day dry, depending on bud density and ambient conditions. After drying, a slow cure in jars will follow to fully develop smoothness, flavor, and complexity. Day 33 Update Wow!! So for the first time I have opened up GROWDIARIES on a computer, and I must say this is a much better layout and easier to use than my cell phone. I will be doing updates like this from now on. So with the help from @DabCrab I finally came up with a nutrient schedule that I will stick to. I have honestly been all over the place when feeding and it was time for a change, so this will start next feed. I also have decided to switch my light cycle to a 12-12 to determine gender of plants, and will revert back to veg cycle once what ever males are pulled out of the room. I plan on vegging for a very long time, have not decided on how many weeks. I guess however long it takes to fill up the scrog net that I made. I will make the light switch at the start of week 6. Okay guys, now this has been an eventful week. unfortunately, I can now only visit my plants on the weekend as I am sutying in another city and the plants are at my parents house. That has translated to the little tiny brown leaf I found last week turning into 3 - 4 semi-rotten buds. So yes, catterpillars. Little pesky green catterpillars were the ones eating the leafs and the ones that have now caused some bud rot on my autoflowers. To wich I have decided to do an emergency early harvest as you can see in the pictures above. Trichomes were more or less 10 - 20 % cloudy depending on the bud and some buds also had quite a few amber so they cound't have been that far from harvest anyway. I cut off the buds with rot and the buds nearst to them. luckily it was only 1 or 2 big buds on 2 of the 3 autos I have. The remaining auto is the foxtailing one witch I have not yet harvested and am now debating if I should just do it to not risk getting rot over this week I am away or let her ripen more. The process was cutting off the bad parts, discarding and then cutting off the buds with the stem off the plant. I have never harvested before so I dont know if it is useally done this way but anyway. After the early harvest wich I am sure many would frown upon I did something even morecontroversial and washed the buds in water+backing soda, water+hidrogen peroxide, just water rince and hung them to dry with a fan in front of them for about 2.5hrs. Now I'm a newb so I dont know if this works, but I read and saw a few posts and videos of people doing and explaining this process, and also asked outdoor growers of reddit to see if this is actually a thing, and yes it seems a few if not many people wash their outdoor buds in some way or another. I washed hoping that if there are any caterpillars in the buds that would kill or at least debilitate them.. none floated off while i was washing though.. so now im scared there are still some in my buds and will rot while im drying :( i checked each bud individually trying not to break them up but didnt find any caterpiullar. i only found one while washing the leafs I had trimmed off the plant before harvesting the buds. Anyway, I have bought anti caterpillar and anti fungal spray for tthe photoperiod plants wich seem to be doing okay. A part from some white powdery stuff on the leafs, maybe powdery mildew? Anyone know what can be done for PM ? Anyway, as usual, thanks for your support and comments! sorry for the long post hehe Edit: Totally forgot to mention this.. I think the foxtailing auto has gone hermaphrodite and polinated the other plants (?) I found a little dark ball at the bottom of one of the buds I have harvested, I picked it off because I didnt knoe if it was rot.. A SEED CAME OUT! Yeah.. So now Im thinking my plants have been pollinated by the foxtailer? Does this make sense? xD

Beginning of week.. She doesn't have many pistils turning.. Some tho.. This is going to be a long flowering strain.. Not many milky trichomes yet either.. She is very stinky lol.. Hope she is ready for a flushing soon! Mid week.. Still just doin her thing.. Pistils still slowly turning.. Still smells like piss lol till you rub the trichomes.. Then you smell the sweet piney dankness.. Not a bad strain.. Just a long flowering period.. Can't complain lol. I'm ready to start flushing.. But she's not.. Maybe I could just start flushing and flush her for a good 3 or 4.. Or however many weeks it takes till she's ready.. I've flushed a plant for a good 4 or 5 weeks before.. Leaves looked like shit but the bud was still great.. That was the Zkittlez Glue actually since I counted the flowering weeks wrong.. Hmm.. Nah I'm gonna wait another week before I even think about flushing. I am seeing some milky/cloudy trichomes.. Even a very few amber starting.. You can tell they aren't even full on amber cuz of how light they still are.. But i dis find a few beginning to amber.. So yeah.. Maybe 1 more week of nutes, then start flushing. End of week... Still waiting to see some trichomes turning lol.. Pistils are turning for sure.. Trichomes.. Not so much yet.. Seeing some light burn issues on a couple leaves.. But that's not stopping her one bit! She is still a very happy girl! Thickening up a little on top.. Bottom.. Not so much yet either lol.. Still happy with her.. On to the next!!!...

cleaning out one of my fish tank filters into the water I am going to feed this plant. Should double the size of the buds, lets see what it looks like next week. Also had first mini frost.

October 22, 2021 I think they are finally starting to look a little better. I have been pulling off any leaves that were showing too much damage. I'm finally starting to see less damage. I didn't feed any Recharge this week. My Recharge has gotten old and I don't think its working like it should. I contacted Real Growers and they are sending out some replacement Recharge for me. I'll definitely add Recharge back into the feeding schedule once the new bag arrives. I gave Neptunes Harvest Fish and Seaweed at full strength, but only 1/2 gallon to each plant. Then a few days later I watered into the reservoir directly, instead of trying to water through. I purchased a funnel with a flexible hose from one of the local auto part stores and I'm able to place the hose directly into the reservoir. I was honestly shocked how the water from the reservoir was completely wicked up into the soil by the next day. I hope this is the way to make these 3 gallon SIP pots work without overwatering.🙏 Cya next week!

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

Enjoyed growing this strain, easy to grow and needed little attention :)
