The bud looks thickening trichromes,more pungent and pistil change color to orange.

Last week went good for the first week of flower, having trouble again with my ph meter....ughhh. Ordered 2 new ph meters this week, a decent 4 in 1 (ph/ec/ppm/temp) pen and plug in, 3 in 1 (ph/ec/temp) meter with leads to leave in my res(my second one for my second res). Also got more calibration solution, and storage solution. Sick of second guessing my crappy pens, gonna start fresh will all new ph equipment. Lol but she really started to stretch out this week, with the little amount of lst I did to her just before flip she has really bulked up and spread out. 10 days into flower now and she is still stretching and being tucked. I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the secondary shoots to light, I have around 40000 lux at the first screen and they seem to be handling it nicely. I will be doing a major underclipping and removing everything below the first net in a few days time I think. I flipped this tent without filling the screen and I’m hoping to keep everything low and tucked until the stretch is almost finished, then let them bud up into the higher lux, hopefully keeping them less then a foot above the screen. That’s the plan anyway. Lol well that’s it for this week, Cheers💨

I do not use the child lock so I was confused. I opened the app and the box is offline. I do not know when this happened during the night. That is the reason the door would not open. I had to use the key that I used to open the box initially after shipment. So keep your key. Response time regarding the offline issue was over 5 hours as they are in California.  Resolution was to delete the app and reload. However, it took 3+ days for the resolution. They kept sending me the startup, how to connect by Wi-Fi, Customer support is lacking. The box had been working for 10 days. Fortunately, the app reset with the same data regarding the grow cycle and nothing was lost. Also good thing I checked the settings, I found that switching from germination to autoflower, the light cycle changed from 16/8 to 12/12. I usually run autos on 18/6. I decided to run at 16/8 for now.  The calendar within the app has scheduled daily tasks that indicate what to do when, which includes watering, LST, trimming, adding amendments etc. I created a grow plan based on the scheduled tasks in the calendar. It is downloadable in Excel if you want to create a grow plan for yourself. Note, i easnt able to ioload excel. When you complete them, you check off the calendar. All the highlights in orange are the calendar prompts for tasks.  The blogs indicate the Abby Button should show the environmental stats. Mine does not so I asked if I should get a new button or is my model the basic one without that feature. Mine is the basic version and the button does not show stats. Good plant! Was attacked by flies (Sciaridae), thrips, tetranychus and a monster cat but always remained strong! The attacks had just slowed down the growth (this little one has 2 month of growth). Even in microgrow, the blooming is really impressive: as fast as an indica but for as long as a sativa. The genetics is not perfect: some parts of the same flower were too mature and some new parts swere still emerging... it's a research strain! The smell is really good and relatively light comparing to others strains. After few volacano : the weed taste like "tropical soda" or passion fruit mixed with cream. The effect is much stronger than I expected for a THC-CBD hybrid, is more indica than the pure indica: the afghan side + the CBD relaxation make a real sleeping medecine. => The taste and effect are really different from every other strain, try it!

Beginning of week.. Both have some gorgeous flowers.. Purples are already coming out on both. Both are flooding with complex aromas.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Mandarin Cookies is gonna make it to harvest, I'm sure.. So excited! Mid week.. I love how they both are giving off nice purples on the calyces already! Both smell so amazing! It makes me tear up with joy! Not sure when I should start flushing! ETHOS says that you count 9 weeks from flip to 12/12.. Not pistils forming.. Cuz you know, you need to factor in the transition time.. 1 - 2 weeks.. Sometimes 3! But I am super excited to harvest these lovely ladies!!! Next day... Ok.. So the runoff issue has gotten worse for the Mandarin Cookies.. Obviously, with all the def. you can see.. At least 3 that I can see right away.. Calcium.. Potassium.. Phosphorous.. Maybe even a slight Magnesium def. in there too.. Kinda hard to pinpoint when there is multiple showing, yet I am feeding PLENTY of all of them.. She should have no issues.. The runoff pH is now coming out at about 4.9 - 5.2, depending on a good or bad day, I guess.. I have just been puttinf it in at 6.3 every time.. Sometimes (alot now) I get a salt build-up between feedings.. I like to feed, water, feed, water.. Now I need to feed, water, water, feed, water, water... It's really bothering the shit outta me lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is pretty close to peing on point.. Going in: 6.3 pH.. Runoff: 5.8 - 5.7.. Still in a decent range.. No signs of issues on any leaves.. They are both making some gorgeous nugs tho! Stackin calyces and trichomes lile crazy! And now they are really fattening up! I am so ready for this run to be over and let this medium dry out reeeeally good.. And take it out back Ol' Yeller style.. Yup.. That sounds like a plan.. I have PLENTY of NEW coco coir bricks and perlite that I have been hoarding.. Just like I do with my genetics 😄.. But I feel like you can never have enough.. And I plan on growing cannabis in coco coir till someone takes me out back Ol' Yeller style! End of week.. They are both showing about 50% turned pistils.. The ETHOS Cookies is a little further along.. Not by much.. But the trichomes on the Mandarin Cookies seem a little further along.. Word.. They are both going to be epic smokes for sure! So I believe I will just give both of them small feedings just to get them through the week, then I should be good to start flushing.. On to the next week!...

Day 60 Not happy with the buds. They are to small in my opinion and I don’t know how to improve on that problem. I have decided to flush with water and measure the runoff ppm because I think I was overfeeding Day 64 Don’t know why the leaves turn yellow, gave them a bit more nitrogen & cal-mag color was a bit better yesterday but today they start turning yellow again

Finally starting to look like she might be finishing, but every time I think that, a bunch of new pistils shoot out. Trichomes are getting more cloudy but still a lot of clear ones. Lots of stacked calyxes now packing on. Remember this plant has already had 5 zips of dried bud removed at 11 weeks! I have not changed the reservoir for 4 weeks, I topped it up with a little bit of extra nutrient after two weeks but there seemed no reason to do anything else, she has not been using much recently ppm is constant at about 800. Only now beginning to see some leaves dying. I'm going to let her go for as long as she wants.

Update - Aug 11, SLH grew 2 inches vertically from last week. She looks healthy, just slow to grow. I trimmed off some of the smaller inner branches and leaves, as this strain does stretch a good amount in flowering, which will start in probably 2 weeks. I also cut the nutrient dosage in half, going to run this SLH at half the nutes, compared to my previous grows of this strain, just to see if there is a difference.

This week I had quite a bit of color changes in the leaves of one of the phenos. I thought initially that it was a PH problem or something had gone wrong but I think it is just natural color changes. Might be a bit of rut on the leaves but they have not dried up and go crusty so it may be just the color. Lots of purple edging on the leaves. The buds are further along on one of the phenos, really frosting up nice. Thanks for visiting my page and reading this far.

Hello again and welcome to week 5, the beginning of true flower! Ahsoka (her star wars name) is doing awesome with LST. Last week we tied down her main cola but this week her branches were long enough to Tie most of them down to. I will leaf tuck everyday to keep light on the budsites. Ashoka has finally hardened off properly and I moved her to the big tent since she is also in flower. She is under The Optic 8+ we still haven't had to feed any nutrients yet 🤞 but are giving real growers recharge as a microbial. As you can see her roots have just exploded with growth. Love this opaque container deal! Honestly, last week I switched to watering exclusively with water with the recommended pH level. I defoliated, perhaps even did some kind of partial trimming in vivo. Expect my results, friends, it will be a rich harvest of delicious cones!
