Today: 14.18 hours of light 100.4 °F 58%Rh 1 million of mosquitos I've spent this hot week training these two plants trying to keep them the lower as possible since the two main buds have reached the roof (7.87 ft tall). Cookies Gelato is about 9.50 ft tall. I've applied white plastic net all around the pergola to give them some shade in order to slow down the metabolism. These plants are giant and there is no more space to move around. Asparagus stalks are well formed so this is, hopefully, the last preflowering week. Cookies is hungry and some bottom fan leaves start to show chlorosis but the top/mid canopy is plenty of natural nitrogen. During these last weeks I've watered them with 4-5 gallons each, leaving the soil to dry for 2/3 days, they seem to love this scheme. Also, the fact of not having pluck away even a leaf made these plants big and extremely vigorous. Tomorrow I will create a roof with clear plastic rolls as the nighttime humidity begins to increase and some summer thunderstorms are on the horizon.

Hi ppl, This week the girls have been enjoying the weather.. With the added benefit of C02 and higher temps the plants are coming on fantastic. I found my previous run diary so useful in helping to improve the grow this time round. making sure every fifth feed is just water as the previous schedule was to heavy. Also this week I finally managed to finish making hash from the smaller less dense buds from first run, and wow so turpsy and very potent which I Will be pressing into Rosin for day time medication as the flower is pissing my neighbours off... The honeydew fallout from the spotted lanternflys in the maple tree above have gotten out of hand. It's almost a constant mist. The only thing I could think to do beside moving them like an ancient Egyptian was adding a protective canopy of some sort. I wanted to get the clear poly weave but this green one was half price so went with it instead. With the way I have it oriented, it doesn't really block out that much direct sun too. In the morning and afternoon the angle of the sun is able to shine right on the plants. It's kind of a win win because should decrease my chances of mold later down the road towards harvest time if it does decide to rain a bunch. I tried washing the plants once this week with some light soap and water with a little baking soda mixed in. I rinsed with cone setting with hose right after and the plants were praying next day but i didn't have canopy up yet so they got hit again. I spotted several pale green assassin bugs on my plants so now Im a little nervous about washing the plants again because I want to keep them around. They are nymphs right now I may try to collect the ones i see become cleaning the plants one last time. Hanging that canopy was one of the more frustrating things I've done in a while. I wasn't sure If or how it would work but I has some medium gauge synthetic rope I tied to the eyelets and eventual 4 tree limbs. I had to bounce back and forth to get it tension climbing my fruit trees and 8 foot ladder. I originally disassembled an unused tomato trellis i built to use some of the lumber to build a post to tie off on in one corner but it ended up being at the wrong angle relative to the tarp and I started to get worried if a storm ripped it out of the ground. So I opted to used only the surrounding trees. After getting it all tension I realized that it was to far to one side leaving two of the plants almost exposed, so I had to come back the next day and re adjust but now I have it in a pretty good spot. I survived a decent storm already this week. Just hope it lasts. Overall making outside feel slightly leas stressful and anticipating more of a good harvest rather than just an experiment with my first outdoor grown.

1/12: impatiently waiting for lemon auto to finish up. Still not sure what the northern lights is trying to do, but..the little buds are slowly growing. S l o w l y... 1/14: things are getting out of hand in here. Northern lights is bushy AF again but the budlets appear to be increasing in size. Lemon is getting closer every day. Looks like I've got milky trichomes and the pistils are darkening. Still a bit early, but I'd be lying if I wasn't anxious for the space.. 1/15: I've accepted that I have at least a week ish left on Lemon auto,but she's getting there! I did some rather risky defoliation on northern lights and holy shit, she's got potential. I'm hoping she's just a slow grower and those buds will really fatten up! Perhaps lemon is just a really fast growing plant? I've also decided that since space is limited, my best bet is to probably rotate the plants every other day to allow all bid sites an opportunity for direct light. I'm reigning myself in. Once lemon auto is harvested I need to NOT immediately plant another. I've got some mephosito seeds I want to get going, but I've learned my lesson. This tent fits two 5 gallon mature plants... Uncomfortably. Three is too many 😂 1/17: wondering if northern lights has is it her to fatten up. Gave her a good flush &feed. Popcorn buds or not, I'm invested (#forscience). Lemon auto is still finishing up. Can't get good enough pics with phone to see trichomes. Clearly, I have a minimum of a week left, but I got a digital microscope so I can keep track! last update. in 3 days they get the chop!! looks finished to me. 🤓🍃 theyre popping out of the tent everytime i open the door. 😂

On day 67 of flowering I chopped both plants. Trichomes were mainly milky with some amber. After the chop both plants were hung upside down in the grow tent. The humidity ranges between 57-61 % at 18-20 degrees celcuis. The buds should be dry in about 14 days.

Rough weekend for the girls. They seem to be pretty happy overall but Ph fluctuation in reservoir and mad salt build up in coco. Ended up flushing on day 62 with.... 32 litres Total (8L each) 40ml white vinegar 75ml Enzymes Complete (cleaning agent) Day 65- plants EC runoff is back at a normal level. Feeding 1300EC. runoff is at about 900EC. Going to wait a few more days and monitor runoff before upping the nutes again. Purchased Drip Clean to help with salt build up. Great reviews so let's see how it does. Should have flushed weeks ago. Oh well.

Growing good. But I can not stand a strain that foxtails, to me it's just ugly. And these are deffently starting to foxtail. But otherwise it's a gorgeous plant. Hopefully the smoke quality will make up for it. It won't be much longer untill chop day. Thanks for checking out my grow .

Wow, what a week. Finally installed my Inkbird humidity controller and look at the results. Massive difference having the VPD on point at 25°C and 60% RH. A video at the end shows my setup. Did a bit more supercropping this week and more defoliation to keep all tops at the same level, this will make the Scrog setup alot easier. Please like this and comment any questions or thoughts.
