Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Blue cheese Auto from Royal queen seeds will turn out. Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. Update 2017-08.20. Nr1 and 2 grow and thrive. Number 3 just got rid of the seedpod and is folding out the sheets. Update 2017-08-21. Nr 1 and 2 is doing well. Nr3 is trying to catch up and Nr4 is still shy.

This week the plant continued to stretch reaching 55 cm. The tent is really feeling small both in height and width, the lamp is almost as high as it can get. I might have had done better with more pruning earlier, now I don't I don't want to stress too much this far into flowering. This week just removed some leaves and some branches without significant flowering from the bottom. Right after switching to a HID light for flowering, the leaves started drooping badly. The plant has mostly recovered from that. Flowers are getting bigger, slowly growing trichomes on the leaves too.

All right so, here we are beginning of week 6 and the gorilla girl, looking amazing like she has been. The DP on the other hand not so well unfortunately. I've been fighting a Calcium deficiency possible magnesium deficiency and I'm getting my ass kicked. So we're going to hit her with some cow mag and go from there I guess.

3/21: That last quarter-strength nutrient feeding seems to have taken well. Amnesia is bulking up slowly, and isn't letting go of as many dead leaves today. I am removing any crispy leaves I can find from Trainwreck as well. She isn't letting go of any leaves like Amnesia is, they're just ugly as sin. Oh well, they're doing their job. I am keeping the humidity to match the current temperature according to the VPD charts, like every week, so I haven't been lowering the humidity over time because of the heat in the tent. 3/22: Leaves are looking greener today. Just keeping an eye out for any loose leaves ready to be removed from either plant. Not many so far today.

Starting to see where the buds will grow

Week 8 and week 3 of flower! The terpenes are making my mouth water and the ladies are fluffier than ever and stacking up nicely. Due to weather changes recently I was able to keep lower over all temperatures and the humidity has increased slightly but it’s right where I want it (50% RH). Purple Lemonade is fading nicely and her colours are becoming more and more vibrant - she has about 2 weeks left. Terps are insane! All the other strains are happy as can be and also showing slight fade on leaves here and there. Very impressed with my Divine Seeds pheno’s and definitely recommend giving their strains a try very strong and easy to grow. Ethos Zweets literally smelling like candy canes. Dutch Passion Colorado cookies definitely giving off hues of a bakery. Overall it was a smooth week and I can’t wait for the smooth smoke! Organics is the easiest way to grow with minimal effort and great results. Shoutout to Green House Feeding Bio Line 😎

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Photos this week stay inside the tent, it’s just not safe to move these ladies anymore. ⸻ Irrigation Upgrade – Semi-Auto in Motion With the room expanding and multiple genetics running, it’s time to make watering smarter: • Semi-Automatic Irrigation Installed – currently set up to water 8 plants. • Not Fully Automated Yet – still manually monitoring and hand-watering other genetics in the room. • The goal is precision without full delegation — a hybrid system offering consistency + control. This is how smart growers scale: one foot in tech, one foot in the soil. 🌱 ⸻ Red Spectrum Timing – Emerson Effect in Action Let’s dive into light science, because this week, you’ve implemented something most growers don’t even think about: ☀️ What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in the 1950s, the Emerson Effect is the phenomenon where plants photosynthesize more efficiently when exposed to both red (660nm) and far-red (730nm) light simultaneously. Even better? Far-red at the start and end of the day manipulates the plant’s internal clock, promoting faster flowering and shorter day-length response. 🔴 Your Implementation: • 15 minutes of red/far-red spectrum • Before lights-on (simulating dawn) • After lights-off (simulating dusk) This technique: • Promotes faster flowering initiation • Enhances flower site expression • Helps with sleep/wake cycle regulation Well played — this is next-level light manipulation. 🌕 ⸻ AC Implementation – Heat Down, VPD Back in Range The much-needed air conditioner has arrived, and it’s already proving itself: • Old Temps: ~31°C • New Temps: 28.8°C • Humidity: 66.6% • VPD: 1.33 kPa (much more ideal for flower initiation) While it’s still a warm tent, the VPD is now in the sweet spot, allowing for strong transpiration, nutrient uptake, and healthy gas exchange. Despite the name, it contains no actual sugar. Well starting week 4 of flowering and the Peach is showing me some love. Nice tight flowers, beautiful sugar leaves, right now I could not ask for more. Description Peach Puree CBD is a high-CBD, sativa-dominant medicinal marijuana strain. It was bred by back-crossing the product of a Sweet Diesel x The Orange (California). 8 WEEKS. YES, THATS A CATEPILLAR INSIDE THE TOP COLAR. I DIDN'T SPRAY BT THIS ROUND. SO I EXPECTED SOME CATEPILLARS PERHAPS MORE LITTLE ONES. WILL KNOW WHEN I CHOP AND DRY. ONCE YOU CHOP AND DRY. ALL THE CATEPILLARS WILL START TO FALL OFF THE PLANT. LIKE ESCAPING FROM THE PLANT. DANGLING DOWN W/ SILK. VERY INTERESTING. LOOKS RIPE TO CHOP. WILL CHOP END OF THIS WEEK. BEFORE CATEPILLARS EAT MORE BUDS.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur 14. Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Diese letzte Woche ging es den Damen an den Kragen … Da die Kleinen in letzter Zeit doch ordentlich an Pflanzenmasse zugelegt hatten und das Wetter in Kombination mit zu dichtem Blattwerk ein erhöhtes Pilzrisiko birgt, habe ich mir die Schere geschnappt und die Pflänzchen ordentlich ausgedünnt. Ich bin hierbei relativ radikal vorgegangen (nach dem Prinzip „Viel hilft viel“). Das hat mehrere Gründe: Einerseits bin ich kein Fan von diesen ganzen Popcornnug-Geschichten (sowohl qualitativ als auch vom Trimaufwand her). Ich stelle die Qualität immer über die Quantität und so gewährleiste ich, dass die Haupttriebe die gesamte Energie erhalten und optimal performen können. Des Weiteren gewährte ich so eine deutlich bessere Luftzirkulation und vermeide ein unnötiges Überlappen der Blätter, welche wiederum Kondenswasser einfangen und somit ein optimales Klima für Pathogene bilden. Und last but not least darf ich ja eh nur meine 50 g/Person ernten.😇 Beim sogenannten „Lollipopping“ verwende ich eine frisch sterilisierte Schere, welche ich nach jeder Pflanze neu reinige, um eine mögliche Kreuzkontaminierung zu vermeiden. Vor diesem Eingriff habe ich den Pflanzen noch eine Stärkung verabreicht, um sie auf den kommenden abiotischen Stress (nicht durch Lebewesen erzeugter Stress) vorzubereiten. Hier kam wieder mein noch nicht so altbewährter Biostimulator ins Spiel. Dieses Mal allerdings in Kombination mit einem Komposttee. Dieser hat den Vorteil, dass er den Gasaustausch der Pflanze fördert (,,ein lebenswichtiger Prozess, bei dem Sauerstoff (O₂), Kohlenstoffdioxid (CO₂) und Wasserdampf mit der Umgebung ausgetauscht werden“), indem sich die Mikroorganismen um die Spaltöffnung (Stomata) ansiedeln und diese sich schneller öffnet und schließt. Wichtig ist hierbei noch zu erwähnen, dass sich die meisten Stomata auf der Blattunterseite befinden, diese also ebenfalls besprüht werden sollte. Und da wir Bakterien ausbringen, ist es von Bedeutung, mit großen Tropfen und wenig Druck zu arbeiten und die Pflanze möglichst nass zu machen. Jetzt hoffe ich nur noch, dass das Wetter wieder mitspielt und wir gesund und vital in die Blüte übergehen können. Und zum Schluss noch das altgewohnte Gequengel: Grow Diaries hat mir aus irgendwelchen Gründen meine Views gedrittelt (vielleicht wegen der Kritik im letzten Bericht)😁. Bisschen ärgerlich, aber ich mache es ja nicht für den Fame.😂 Das war’s für diese Woche. Euch noch einen schönen Restsonntag. Peace

Start of week 15. A little defoliation and LST training on a few branches. The grow medium has not dried out enough since last week's repotting, so no feeding at this time. Update 6/15, moved to flowering room and 12/12 light.

Week 8 has gone well and she is chugging along. She is still putting out new pistils with some turning orange. Calyx's are growing longer and buds are still soft. I'm thinking a min of 10 weeks flowering for her. I removed some leaves on inner canopy to bring some air and light deeper. She is so bushy its hard to even defoliate maybe next time i will remove some more lateral branches... afterremoving the leaves I must have come incontact with a pollen sack as where I defoliated all seemed to be polinated over night and are making seeds :( I will cut my losses and harvest while seeds are still small.

Day 56! Watering 2.5gallons dosage every 5 days(top 1.5 centimeters media dry)--since 13 days ago! Flush starting day 58(next watering).

Es geht den Pflänzchen weitgehend gut. Habe die Lampe inzwischen auf 75% Leistung wingestellt, da die gestretchten Headbuds alle zu verkümmert waren… leider etwas zu spät. Ich denke 2 von 5 Pflanzen werden nur ein Bruchteil ihren Potenzials ausschöpfen. Aber die anderen umso mehr vorallem der vorne rechts der Wachstumsprobleme hatte, hat durch die Distanz zur Lampe sehr profitiert. Da sind teilweise wirklich heftige Harzkeulen dabei unter anderem einfach Fan Leafs die komplett gezuckert sind. Auch die Farbe des Zuckers is teilweise lila geworden. Ich hoffe noch auf ein bisschen farbliche Variation aber evtl macht mir da der Sommer mit seinen Temperaturen ein Strich durch die Rechnung. Ich werde vermutlich nur noch 1 mal Düngen da ich teilweise Anzeichen von leichtem Nährstoffbrand habe und dann flush ich die kleinen. Aber abgesehn von meinem Fehler mit dem Hitze und Energiestress durch die Lampe. Auch hier scheinbar echt nen bomben Genetik. Aber endgültige Meinung erst beim , trockenen Rauchtest.
