So week 8 has gone by like the others nice and easy although I cant help but think that she is well behind where she should be, on the packet it says 11 weeks to harvest but I cant see her packing on enough bud in 3 weeks to be ready for the chop... im in no rush to chop her down but cant help feel a bit anxious that I have gone wrong somewhere... Using the paper towel method, my girl's taproot starting showing after 24 hours. I also buffered my medium with Multi Total and Calmag, before flushing with pH 6 water to a low EC. Once the taproot was 3/4 inch long, I planted her into the coco and watered her with RO water at PH 6.2 for a few days. I also switched my light on (first at 20% power and 30 inches away from seedling, gradually up to 40% at 25 inches). Until the first leaves unfurled, I kept the light on for 24 hours. After the first cotyledons opened I switched my light to 18/6 at 60% power and have given her the first dose of nutes at EC 400. Think we can say germination was a success so on with week one! 🌱 💡

An easy harvest for this strain with large bud well spaced apart leaves. cleanup was a snap here and a snap there. everywhere a bud bud. Very happy with this grow and harvest.😎

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The fifth week of flowering of my Mandarine XL 🍊🍊🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator 🌼🌸🌼 Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves 🍃🍂 I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs 🍭🍭 Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: With Mandarine XL, I did not defoliate as much as with BCN, it was not necessary, I mainly cut off the large leaves that shade the light 🍃🍃 Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 💡💡 In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. Its buds form mainly at the ends of the branches and are dense. Las flores aparte de piedras, se ven resinosas, son muy pegajosas, desprenden olores dulces. a sido una genética recién salida este 2026 con la que disfruté bastante, no fue muy complicada cultivarla. Very impressed with the Mars FC4800 so far, only on between 60-75% and internode gaps are fantastic. Very hot weather lately but plants seem to be taking it just fine. I started 12/12 two days ago and second net is just to reposition any branches in to ideal positions and support etc. I have also left the grow nutrients in the tank for the first 2 days of flower but will swap for bloom nutrients tomorrow.

Birthday doughnut by equilibrium genetics is a excellent strain.very easy to grow and a good yeilder. I really only vegged these plants for like 4-5 weeks and pulled 7 ounces off 3 plants. On a 200 watt light mf2000

This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over 😤 I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2 Vids up 9/24 After looking at things this morning have decided to start moving the FFT9 and FFT11 to flush. Begin slowly cutting Bloom nuets tomorrow for those two so we can start flush at week's end. 9/25 Feed is changing as we move her into flush. 7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!
