Just water

Flushed twice this week 4gl of RO then added 1 gal of 40% nutes right after.

At day 22, the girls has cut their water consumption by over 60%. the strech is definitely over. The buds are now swelling. The terpenes are showing themselves.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Le 4 piante di Red hot cookies si sono dimostrate veramente forti. Colori stupendi a fine fioritura, non rossi come speravo, profumo di terra, dolcezza e aspro mescolati con note di gas, un profilo terpenico molto interessante. Lo scrog effettuato da me, non credo abbia dato il massimo potenziale di queste piante, con il tempo migliorerò anche questo aspetto, ma spero di stare su 1 hg a pianta di media. Aggiornamento a breve con peso a secco, foto dei fiori ripuliti e rapporto sulla potenza di questa varietà. Week 7

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.

Been an ok week just counting down the days till flip. This update is a bit late and should have another soon enough. Found one leaf that was giving me some camo print. Kinda cool. Would be neat if the entire plant did that, would look amazing on the deck. makeshift bamboo. My butterwort plant is starting to thrive again in the shade of the bigger plants and the peppers are also doing the same, the light was just to much for them. the butterwort is also eating lots and lots of the gnats in the tent and doing its job, I'm going to try and propagate it and give some to my grow shop guys and see if they want to sell them. They told me to make a bunch of clones of it and bring them some so we will see. I let my pots get nice and dry before the next water and saw some of the leaves on the underside of the canopy were wilting so the gnats might have been knocked back by a week or so from it being to dry on the soil level. Plant is also fully showing its sex on two of them, waiting on the middle one to pop some pistils. Fed them all the same with an addition of some seaweed extract from GaiaGreen. They are really liking the fulvic acid powder I'm using. this is 100% a new thing going into all the grows moving forward. I also went out and purchase some bubble has bags for cheep and decided to try and make some bubble hash out of a bunch of outdoor plants I had, comprised also of trim/shake from all the other diaries I did. One weird thing was the 25u size was the bigger yielding and that not so normal from what I have been told by my friends. I have a strong feeling it was from me shaking and hitting the bag like it owed me some money. I wanted to see how much keif/crystals would fall off of it in the freezer and my orginal plan was to make keif hash with it and that's part of its processing. vs bubble hash you don't want to do that. The results where ok. I did 3 washes and honestly I should have done more but it was late and I was just going to throw it out anyway if I did not make hash from it, so win win. 1st wash about 15min 2nd wash was about 15-20 min 3rd wash was closer to 30 min. used a 220u work bag and then went into a 160u and 73u down to a 25u as final, I don't know its yeild yet but I will soon find out as its still drying. used 213.4g of trim and shake and some buds. My ideal outcome is 10% of that weight in hash so 21.3g 220u160u73u25u u=micron I feel like im forgetting something but IDK what it is, till next week, and that should be in a few days.
