Day 32 flower update Emerald Harvest nutes everything looks great...they're fattening up this week...they're all 60-70 day flower times as recommended by the breeders

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

Day 129 Flower 67 Remaining 10?!? WOW! lol they keep plumping up. most have slowed down but some of the colas are still noticeably growing. The plant on the right is quite a bit different then the other two. much shorter and has different looking colas. much more rounded. Also this plant has lots of white hairs on the main colas. Is this a sign they are still growing? how come the other 2 only have a few white hairs and this one is loaded. another distinction is that this plant hasn't really started fading yet. it has a few purple leaves but doesnt have the fade like the other 2? weird? why this plant so different. I'm quite nervous still but its all good, its just because its foreign to me. most the trichs are clear but theres a growing number of milky ones and the odd amber one. this is for the top colas i've been watching. I'm stoked to see the harvest. theres 24 yo yos in there holding up these massive colas! The flush should be any day now. I'm still confused as to know when i'm a week out and to start the flush?!? I understand harvest is when mostly milky with a few clear and amber. I cant believe the crystals on these ladies. its absolutely insane! also sticky as all hell, amazing! Sept 17th Her smell is amazing, you can smell she is a cousin of Sexbud but this one is much more fruity. Really has a specific odour to it, citrus but nothing like lemon or orange. Last time during sunshine I could even smell something like the bitternes you get from grapefruit, kind of amazing or just imagination. Can hardly wait for her to be cured and burp those jars. Today was a busy day, maroc got chopped because of mould infection. Outdoor grapefruit was also affected but this strain seems to be more resilient. structure of the buds is more spread over long branches and seems to be less susceptible to botrytis. Lemon kush on the other hand is getting real bulky and has mould pop up in some large main cola, I try to check them every other day and continue to cut off any infected parts and dead/yellow leaves. Hoping these babies make it all the way. 2 more days of rain, after that weather forecast predicts higher temperature and little to no precipation. Fingers crossed

Last week before harvest. I started checking the trichomes and they are looking amazing. Cloudy, milky big mushroom head tricks. Not so much amber yet but I feel that will change pretty quickly with the temp drop. I will keep checking them daily and when I feel there's a good ratio between amber and cloudy I will harvest. I think im going to try the 48 hour darkness method. I've also heard of splitting the stalk and taping it up to stress it out a little bit. If anyone has tried this method and has experience with it let me know down in the comments. Big frosty buds with an incredible powerful aroma. Such beautiful plants all around. 👉The final dry weight, which was 369g (13oz) is just buds, no trim or larf. Just Good big buds. Great plant overall. Had a phosphorus issue that lingered, it foxtailed at the end and in the last day hermie bitz appeared on almost every branch end cola. Sturdy branches, lots of food factories. Wonderful aroma that wasn't as stanky as most. Spend 4 hours trimming. Started at the bottom and worked my way up. I put the end cola of each branch on its own label clothes pin and hung on a rack. Each cola was weighed wet and cataloged. after 24 hrs I started putting each cola in a paper bag and the net buds in a larger bag. It took 5 days to reduce the dry weight to under 30%. When they hit this mark they went into the jars which were labeled according to their documented location. I figured the weigh reduction percentage by comparing weighs from the initial wet trimmed weight. In each jar I also added a hygrometer. Surprisingly the RH of almost ever jar was under 58%. None of the jars required any burping to remove excess humidity. At that point I added moisture 62% moisture packs and put the jars in the closet. I sampled bud J till this writing. It didn't start getting tasty till the 4 week mark.

I love the sativa shaped nug-towers! When my plants grow big, I like to grow them until the very end of their cycle! That's why the extended flower period. So finally a dream come set off my next run . Thank you so much to the anonymous generous-hearted genetics inventors who sent me these mysterious seeds. Soaked them with a few drops of kelp extract concentrate i had made for my last grows. Meanwhile this is a bio tabs run, and let me just take the time right now to thank BIG K from @biotabs_f69 for all the help learning more about biotabs ! So it's a front loaded activity, followed the instructions on the box for the biotabs, placed two, added the myco to the substrate and the plug hole watered with orgatrex and my very own smart protein you guys. This is a different type of additive that works like carbos but is directly accessible to the plant. Let's see how it works out ! Germination rate for me was 10/10 , poked out overnight, now the veg begins. I'll be applying a variety of techiques while i set up a perpetual rotation. Advice welcome 🚀 watering 200 ml twice to three times a day , carefully as to not compact the soil - just something i learned from my last grow that really works out over time ! 🚀
