I would definitely recommend this strain to everybody. After 7 days of drying i was able to taste the buds and i'm very satisfied so far. Cant wait to taste them again, after some curing in jars.

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. After a slow start she’s taking off, noticeably growing every 12 hours

1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. I'll post the product and details tonight. Happy growing! 🌱 - Made an executive decision mid morning and decided that 1.5/2g is not a big enough finished pot size for the EM Auto. I moved her to a 5. I was really sceptical since she's doing the best for vegetative growth out of the group but decided to embark on the risk. I consider it a move and not a transplant at this point. When I moved her, I cut the fabric pot in 6 spots down to the base. I let some of the loose dirt fall into a tray and prepared the 5g to accept the 1.5g transfer. I used a single table spoon of the gia green power bloom and coated the hole. I gently misted the outside of the remaining dirt and the EM root base and picked nearly the whole plant up with little to no disturbance whatsoever. (80% of the total potted plant and coco stayed in tact). She went in beautifully and still looks happy. I guess we'll see how much damage has been done come harvest. Fingers crossed that she didn't feel a thing. 👍🌱

July 26: Mimosa Shot has mostly caught up to the other plant in the wagon and they are now the same height. Did a fourth lazy compost tea. See video explaining how I make it using things like blackstrap molasses and Epsom salts both of which are cheap and easy to find at the grocery store. July 29: nice and sunny today. Plants look great. July 31: defoliated inner fan leaves and small lower buds. This ‘lollipopping’ saves the plant from wasting effort on small buds that aren’t going to amount to anything. Also improves air flow and maximizes sunlight on the remaining buds. Added a round of Gaia Green seaweed extract when watering (label says once every two weeks). Aug 1: Plant is showing red petioles and there is a blue-ish tint to the leaves both of which are signs of P deficiency. Added another round of 50/50 malted barley and Power Bloom as top dressing.

Day 106. AK is going to end, i start to see ambers. Will push 8 more days. Watered today, one more left and then chop. Sweet smell is everywhere from her, very nice ! Mars TSL2000 has far reds integrated, so i expect a bit more coat ;) Great light ! Happy Growing !!!

The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. Day 50 - Nearly at her end, some pretty buds have formed showing pink/red colours. Trichomes were checked and they are showing pretty much all milky white at the moment, I saw a few Amber but I'd like to see atleast 30% Amber before they get harvested. The buds are rock hard and full of unique smells which I hope translates to the flavour profile. I will be flushing these girls for the remainder of the grow which shouldn't be too long now. Keep a close eye as I will be uploading some more pictures and videos. Hoping to do a photo shoot once all is ready. I have to dry the buds in the dark, at 21 degrees in 50% humidity 🤘

Middle 2 plants stretched a lot week 3 of flower. They were growing slower in veg so I flipped to flower as soon as their canopy reached the net (barely LST these 2 plants with the net given their slower growth). Then week 2-3 of flower they took off. Did some defoliating to expose bud sites further down with the intent to increase yeilds.

The plants look really happy, with a rich and vibrant color. They are now growing taller more slowly, but the side branches are getting thicker. The buds are becoming really fat and are completely iced out with trichomes. The calyxes continue to swell, and more trichomes are visible, starting to turn slightly milky. Some of the white hairs are slowly turning brown. I estimate about 2-4 weeks until harvest. The scent is simply delicious, with a pleasant creamy berry aroma. The buds are also incredibly resinous, making your fingers sticky as soon as you touch them. The plants are only lightly defoliated, with dead leaves selectively removed and small shoots trimmed only at the bottom of the plant. The ladies are also extremely thirsty. Besides the regular fertilized watering, they also receive tap water from the bottom, which they usually absorb within a few minutes. I also made an extra video to better show the size of the buds, and using the flash at night highlights the trichomes even more.

Week 11 started, I was hoping for a harvest soon, but looking at buds and comparing to other growers, seems like plants arent quite ready yet. Will harvest at end of week I think. So week 11 has ended, I got myself a better microscope mid-week, looking through microscope and comparing whats written on the internets it looks like it still isnt quite ready. Perhaps I'll go for an early harvest, what could go wrong? Will wait few days to decide if want to harvest at next week start or wait much longer. First grow, zero experience. :D

Sorry for the late video post.. I was assaulted and 2 of my 23 year old cats passed away 2 days ago.. So it's been a rough few weeks. Transplanted and flipped to 12/12 6-18-2020

I would ideally have let these go for another week (if not 2 for the imperium) but my cuttings are in serious need of transplanting due to cold temps and becoming rootbound so will see how they fare on the next run given a full 10-12 weeks
