🗓️ Week 17: 3/23 - 3/29 📆 Week 7 of 12/12 🌄 The plant is starting to go into senescence and presenting some beautiful colors as she begins to fade. 💡 Received new lighting courtesy of Growers Choice. They sent me the ROI-E420 with the Master Controller. First impression is amazing. Looks and feels like very high quality build. The spectrum seems more blue than the 3000k lm301H Kingbrite bars I have been using. The bars are thinner and packed with a lot of diodes, so they do run a little hotter than the KB at full power. I adjusted and now running them at 90%. For now the Kingbrite bars are being used as side lighting dimmed to about 30-35% depending on Grow room temps.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week and staying safe. It was a nice week for the Glueberry OG as she grew to her 7th node on day 26 and I just popped off number 7 gently so she will end up with 10 main chutes from 5 nodes as i also removed the bottom node which typically is larfy popcorn buds. If she had not reached node number 7 by day 28ish I would have just topped her above the 5th node as I have had great yields that way as well. Dutch Passion says she takes 11-12 weeks but autos usually start preflowering/flowering between days 28-35 depending on strain so I try to complete all toppings by day 28 or so with autos because if you top them after they start to flower they will suffer. I have topped above the 3rd (for mainlines and mainifolds) as well as the 4th, 5th, and 6th with great results from each. As a general rule, the longer the autoflower is expected to take, the higher up I top her as she will have more time for more colas to develop. Some people think that topping stunts an autoflower, however as long as you allow her to grow a nice ball of roots and she is healthy, it only stunts mine for about 30-45 seconds. Glueberry OG Auto is absolutely loving this Medic Grow light so far, and I am super impressed with how tight she is keeping the nodes. I am running on 60% power in the V1 or vegetative blue stage. I will start working the UV/IR Spectrum into the mix as soon as my 2 seedlings go into coco coir and can handle some more light. The Glueberry OG Auto is currently 6 inches tall and was topped above her 6th node, and since the first node doesn't start until 2.5 inches from the coco, that is a tight group! I will start LST tomorrow on the two top mains, as it has only been 48 hours since topping and they are growing fast. I see alot of growers tie down their entire plant to the ground for LST and that is ok but not beneficial imo. My goal is to keep her nodes tight, and then just LST the mains from the uppermost nodes, as to allow the lower nodes to catch up., while I typically clip the bottom most node as she typically only produces larfy popcorn buds. These are certainly usable for bubble hash/edibles/cannasugar etc. but they do drain some energy from your top shelf colas. The goal of LST should be an even canopy as to minimize apical dominance. This will allow the plant to better utilize the existing light and limit wasted light that converts to heat. Tying a plant down restricts the airflow from the plant and impedes the growth of the lower mains. LST does not require pinning a plant down to the ground with staples, and although a cannabis plant will bounce back from this, it certainly will not reach its full potential. As far as nutrients go, I feed veg nutrients until my auto is almost done stretching then I transition to full flower nutes over about a 6 day period. The only exception is if my plant is growing out of control and I am unable to slow it down through topping, LST, super-cropping, etc. At this point I would make the switch to flower nutes slightly sooner. So she will be feeding on silica, cal mag, and veg nutes for at least a few more weeks here and just some LST. Things looking almost perfect other than INSECTS!!!!!😱 girls have been sprayed top to toe. I’ll continue to observe. But yes other than that great. The gelato are very big plants going outwards and upwards, all possible flowering spots seem to be taking and slowly covering in pistils😍😍😍 Fliwering has commenced ✌️🏻😬✌️🏻 The plants really bulking out now looking good and strong. And really are covered in flowers. They will get a new flowering light and a little more space to grow tomorrow 😍😍😍😍 hopefully great tings will follow. I’ll be using New Millennium Decision on the girls for a few days in the next couple of days, they really are as tall as they should go.🤔 New light in and tings looking good. After a couple of days under the new light the plants seem more than happy. It’s quite a slim line light too so I’m afforded a little extra room up top in case da girls decide to stretch anymore. Things seem to be settling down now and pistils are multiplying quicker by the day. Got a pleasant smell coming from the stems and leaves, very soft and non aggressive possibly a softer take on GSC coming through, but my nose although huge isn’t that good at picking up subtleties in the aromas it grabs a hold of. The girls really are looking strong and vibrant and seem to be wearing their new found flowers well.

Week 10 was more like week 11 but I dunno how to change the pics. I’ve really lost track of how long it’s been after stunting them so badly a couple months ago. I’m giving them 8 weeks (at least) in flower each regardless.

Transplanted week 5 put it 3 gal cloth pots 1/3 strawberry fields soil, 2/3 Happy frog, 1/2 cup rice hulls total, mixed into both soils. watered with recharge mix 1/4 tsp to a gallon of water. Back in to the veg tent.

The plants are doing beautifully after two waves of bug attacks. The first wave was spider mites that I located in my greenhouse before they had a chance to spread to my canibus.I had to spray two days in a row to kill them all. Than 5 days layer I see thrips, so I gave it another spray. I foiler fead my nutrients.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Looking at her, you'd say she grew more than 4cm higher... But that's all the vertical height she grew this week. But she got loads bushier!!!!!!! Hopefully she's building roots for her future!

Technically this is veg week 2, currently still going. Had some cal mag issue so I started to put nutes flush with pH 6 then fooliage spray with cal mag 1 ml per 300 ml. Also nutes at 550 general hydroponics trio. So ending of this week 2 veg about 21 days since I planted the seeds, had issues with nute burn I gave double ppm by mistake thinking it would help the cal mag issue but ended up burning some baby leafs, so far looks like it grew out of it but I'm guessing yield will be effected greatly. Lesson learned

Added air injection today

Blütewoche 8 – King Juice kurz vorm großen Finale Zeitraum: 10. Juli bis 17. Juli Blütetag: 49 bis 56 Blütewoche 8 ist durch und langsam wird's ernst. Die King Juice steuert ganz klar auf die Zielgerade zu. Ich hab diese Woche nicht viel verändert. Ganz entspannt gegossen. Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kontrolliert. Der Wert lag zwischen 50 und 64 %, also alles im grünen Bereich. Einmal hab ich leicht entlaubt, damit die Luft besser zwischen den Buds zirkulieren kann. Zusätzlich hab ich noch einen Mini-Luftentfeuchter in die Box gestellt. Nicht das die Luftfeuchtigkeit doch nochmal höher wird als gewünscht. Gegen Ende der Woche gab’s dann nochmal eine ordentliche Ladung Wasser, insgesamt 8 Liter und auch die Würmchen haben was zu knabbern bekommen. Die Buds reifen weiter aus, und unter dem Mikroskop sieht man schon was. Einzelne Trichome verfärben sich von klar zu milchig und zum Teil schon leicht bernsteinfarben. Es ist noch dezent, aber der Prozess ist ganz klar im Gange. Ich schätze, eine Woche braucht sie noch, um richtig fertig zu werden. Wenn alles so weiterläuft, wird nächsten Donnerstag geerntet. Ich werde das natürlich noch ein paar Tage weiter beobachten und mich dann endgültig entscheiden aber mein Gefühl sagt, nächste Woche ist es so weit. Die Buds sind der Wahnsinn, richtig schön fett, kompakt, steinhart und voll mit Harz. Sie glitzern, kleben wie Sau und verströmen einen unfassbar fruchtig-süßen Duft 😍 Und was auch cool ist, ein paar Blätter haben sich leicht ins Lilane verfärbt, nicht ganz so stark wie bei ihrer Mutter, aber da geht vielleicht in der letzten Woche noch was. Mal sehen, bin gespannt. Ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt kaum sattsehen. Es ist einfach jedes Mal wieder ein Genuss, die Box aufzumachen und diese Pracht zu bestaunen. Ich bin super happy mit der Entwicklung und freu mich riesig auf die letzte Woche 😊

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS HAS APPEARED AS 'VEGETATION' THE WEBSITE SEEMS TO BE GLITCHING OUT. THIS IS STILL A FLOWERING WEEK! I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THIS I've now harvested the Northern Lights and Afghan Kush, will add the harvests once they've dried and I've had a chance to weigh up and smoke up. The Gushers and CATB still need a fair bit more time so I have added nutrients again and will decide whether to flush Tuesday next week or extend further. The harvest of the AK and NL means I can spread out the branches out further allowing light to penetrate deeper into the plant (giggity). I've put in a SCROG to hold up the colas and round the back I've used some string to hold up the colas that have fallen over. I think I flushed 1 week too early. In hindsight I should have done 1 more week with the EC at 1.2 then last week should have been the week with Dragon Force with an EC of 2 and I should have started the flush this week. That probably would have been perfect but we live and we learn. I'm gonna er on the side of extending the schedule in future. I think I harvested the Northern Lights and Afghan Kush a lil too early as well, definitely could and should have pushed them 1 week further. I'm not gonna make the same mistake with the other 2. So far the harvest has been modest but the 2 much larger plants should easily make up for it.

CRAZY NIGHT (continued) I get a cab back to the boys, we take the company car to the casino where we can park it relatively safely under cctv camera. It has a non functioning and non closing window at this point, so thats the best place we could think of. We hit the sino, win a few bucks and kill a few hours. I lose one of the boys to a high class and expensive looking late night date (???) and he assures us he will see us at breakfast in 40 minutes (hahah). We walk out with our winnings to find our car is gone. Not only is the window non functioning, it is non existent. Well there goes fucking breakfast! We called to report the incident, and one of us had to stay to chat with the cop and the casino. I didnt have the time, so my remaining buddy gave the notes. No texts from NX, so I called him. at around 4:40am. Went right to voicemail, followed by a text: "Im stucK" ...(continued) DIARY STUFF These Fastbud fast finishers are incredible plants. Not even finished 6 weeks of flower and they are packing on some serious cola weight. So much bud to leaf ratio, and sticky as all hell. Added Beastie blooms to the flowering feed and they seem to be loving it. Heat has been a battle this week as it is the middle of july and humid. Running lights at half power and ac full HEATHER !!! Week 3! Things are moving so fast! I've had a busy week so did not get around to order nutrients. For all my worries, she seems to do just fine without them. I do not want to get over confident though. Gotta get on it! I was tempted to top her or start doing LST since she is growing so well, but decided against it because I want to let her grow naturally. This is my first grow, so best see what happens to a plant in spacebucket conditions without interference. Learn from that and experiment later on. Plus I feel that patience and restraint are key to completing a successful first grow. -On topping autos: I've read that autos should never be topped. This might have been true in the past. From what I've read new strains are more stable and can be topped without problems if the plant is growing well. (3-4 nodes by end of week 2) This allows her to recover before going into flowering. Despite her being only 10cm tall her leafs span nearly 27cm! Auto Tutankhamon is basically AK-47 (stativa) with ruderalis so I was expecting a rather tall plant. On day 16 she started showing her first pistils! 😍
