Day 58 - As you can see, buds are looking full but still looking like they want to go a bit longer, checking the trichomes frequently and seeing a lot of cloudy.. think i saw the first few ambers too. Any how, we shall keep going. Flush time soon. Day 62 - Looking good, smelling better.. really fruity and sweet. Seems ripe too. Feeds lowered and a little flush. Buds are rock hard, very dense and sticky. Looking forward to harvesting. She will be ready by day 63, but I'll see weather or not ill let her go longer. Stay tuned. Day 64 - trichomes ready, little flush and shes ready for the chop. Beautiful smelling strain and easy to grow. Very hard dense gassy and sweet buds. 30 September 2020 Sunset Sherbet Plant is growing very strong and the bottom 3 cola branches are being stress trained to all edges of the pot, this helps - with all the branches being exposed to the light and to grow the same height as the rest of the canopy. The stem is of this plant is growing really thick 🍑 about 1cm thick Leaves are big and strong reaching ( 15,5cm length ) My experience with growing Sunset Sherbet so far ( Week 6 Day 2 ) This strain from Cape Ape Seeds is actually so good, just the plant itself is a bright lime green and the nugs it will carry is going to be Frosty Purple❄️💜 nugs. By growing this beautiful strain so far it has grown very healthy and just in general very fast, this plant has no problems so far and all it wants to do is continue growing. Do-Si-Wine The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Hola 🗿 Time to start counting days. 1. Lazy is still lazy. Have to change it for sparepart if doest stand up soon. Edge Drop first root to water but doent yet have first leafs. Green and Purple chilling and growing first leafs. 2.5 lazy changed to spare. 2 have already roots in water. Lets hope spare catch them up quickly. Edge has some problems but new leafs growing. 3.5 Spare growing nicely. 3 others have roots at water. All off them Big enough to be seen in one picture. Purple nutz have wide leafs compared to Green. 4.5 roots branching nicely and everything goes like dance. 5.5 spare have now roots also in water. Nice catch up. 6.6 growing fast. With High Hopes 🍀

another uneventful week. the girl is still creating nodes like crazy ... she is growing sideways rather than rushing for the lights. i raised the lights higher to about 12" from the top of the leaves. i also changed the nutrients from a seedling recipe to an early growth stage recipe that is richer in nitrogen with a higher ec 1.2. i also got to see the roots for the first time, they are looking really nice - white and fuzzy. i made the main nutrient tank more permanent and relocated the used nutrient and fresh nutrient tanks in their own chamber so, it's even easier to do manual nutrient changes (1 container in and 1 container out sort thing). later on, in the week, i noticed the main roots showing a little discoloration, not sure if i should be concerned about this, but she looks healthy.. it was fun using the doser again as i really hate mixing chem's since my days in chemistry labs. looking forward to new aggressive growth this week.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Last week there was a hurricane coming this way 🤦🤷 so i placed the plant in front of the window but of course 0 sunlight, this means we lost some critical time of the buds getting bigger and fatter, bad luck 😔 i think we are giving this plant 1 more week

Sunday the 14th of May Day 18 of 12/12 defoliation done still need to clean up the lower part of the plant a bit more I just hadn’t got the time to do them I will get back in on day 21 to clean up the bottom of the plants any branches that haven’t made up past the first trellis will definitely be removed and see how it’s looking all feeding same as previous week looks like the stretch is almost done and buds starting to form front left plant doesn’t look great but the other 3 are looking good nice bud sites for day 18 of 12/12

08/08/25: The first leaves are starting to fade and the buds are looking like they will be ready to harvest in one or two weeks! Right on cue, summer has finally decided to show up here! We’re in for a warm and sunny week, perfect timing to give the flowers that final push they need to ripen fully and pack on some last-minute weight ☀️🌿 I also really enjoy all the other diaries growing alongside! Seeing different approaches and results has already given me plenty of ideas to improve my next outdoor auto run next year. 😁

AT THE BEGINNING I HAD TO FACE MANY PARASITES .... BUT AFTER VARIOUS PRECAUTIONS WE WERE ABLE TO GO THE RIGHT TOWARD ME AND MY BELOVED CHILDREN .... I CUT THE BUDS FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, that is, I REDUCED THE CANOPY BY CUTTING FIRST THE TOP AND AFTER A FEW DAYS, THE UNDERLYING PART. As you can see it's not a tru SCROG as the man-lining plant is taller than the others and there's also height differences among it's colas. In the other hand i'm very happy on how the plants are distributing themselves after i removed the training structures. I removed those structures to prevent more stress to the plants, as they have recieved a hard training and i want to give them a breath and also grow as they like. You can see how many vegetation they have, it almost cover the 85-90% of the tent, in the middle of flowering week 3 i will perform a massive defoliation. This week i can see how the Gorilla with the main-lining is developing more defined and taller colas than the other plants, let's see how they evolve in some weeks. Plant is recovering well from defoliation. No pistles yet but looks like beginning of flowers forming. Going to call this first week of flowers. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics which can be hit or miss.
