🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. Switched to 12/12. Struggling to keep ph runoff ideal. Increased nutrients as plants looked a little pale. EC looks good coming out. Plants look great. I don't have a reliable PAR meter. I'm 80% sure I'm somewhere between 600 and 650. Will defoliate when necessary from here on out. I'm hoping I get more stretch.

Week 7 day 63

brilliant week of growth from the peanut butter cookies. Been a little bit of a struggle for space but will HST once all autoflowers are out. Both the auto cinderella jack and auto critical cheese are developing buds nicely

start of week 2 veg, i put an aquarium heater in my res to keep the temp 21 celcius also added an extra airpump in the res with the waterpump roots are already in the water i used CFL so far i might hang my led above them now

2019-06-07 to 2019-06-13 - F1 to F6 Flipped to 12/12 on june 8th Defoliated it, and LSTed it more every day. Added scrog on F4 after applying the lollipopping method

10/6/2024 Starting to reduce PPM in the reservoir with just pH-adjusted water. Buds are putting on some weight now! Lights are turned up to 95% and raised the one directly over the plant to another inch or so. Recorded daytime air temperature in the tent is around 83F, leaf temperature is 78F. Keeping humidity around 50-55% in the tent. Lung room is set to 45% humidity. 10/8/2024 Noticed some potential light bleaching from the lights likely being too close at too high of an intensity. Backed them down to 90% and will likely remain there for the rest of the week. Some minor nutrient issues showing up with black tips and mild rust spotting on larger fan leaves, maybe early fade, but likely a slight deficiency with a slight p/k excess. Pumped off 2 gallons of reservoir to replace with fresh nutrient solution. 10/9/2024 Plants are showing signs of fade already as mentioned yesterday. Daytime air temps are rising in the tent due to outdoor temps falling and indoor AC not running consistently. I am ok with daytime temps rising to about 82-84F as long as the bud/leaf temperatures stay closer to 80F. Running humidity as low as I am (40-50%) is increasing the VPD (up to 1.8-2.0) on the plants considerably during the daytime. I am glad I left as much plant material as I did as it is helping considerably during these high VPD windows. The smell is amazingly strong with notes of fruit, pine, and a few notes of diesel coming through. Super pungent!

Week 5

Gonna keep an eye out for crosses with face off OG! Good outcome for 1st grow👽 BHO made made with whip it premium after about 3 days in freezer with column. Didn't run w dry ice🤷🏼‍♂️ evap then vac with as little agitation as possible. -Dosido 22-16 has a earthy sweet cream well rounded berry cookies nose & a funky diesel undertone -Effects are hard hitting and euphoric, can put you down for an indica nap or keep you fine, groovy & grounded depending on the dosage. -An ideal indica IMO for anyone looking to ground mental health state from anxiety -Also helps with pain from stomach pain to a migraine, insomnia, appetite , Post workout recovery. Overall This strain is potent indica, Calms the mind & body putting you in a nice place

after lots of screw ups and rescues, res changes , ph research and advice from respected growers , it feels things are on the way in the right direction. The girls have been through a lot and now seem over the worst . Reading and listening to the logic behind keeping the P.H at 6.2 for RDWC seedlings and young plants to help with heat stress and also to lessen the stress of cal and mag issues. It has been a great sucess here and the first night they fed the most they have since i set this up. They are looking very green and healthy where new growth has been happening. the roots are getting bigger and longer and i can see why people talk about the roots so much . lol. i did think i had got root rot due to losing some roots into the tubs but this was due to the damamge from feeding too strong. the suspected root rot was from the Golden tree and was actually working wonders on te dead roots. . onward and upward .

This girl took a little longer to trim up. Me and two grow buddies got her done in about 4 hours. Boy is she a sticky one! And stinky. 😁 There were plenty of scissor hash hits, which slowed us down a bit. The buds seem dense and tight and should dry and cure up nicely. I can't wait to dive head-first into this one. It's like I want it to take it's time hanging and drying, but at the same time, hurry the hell up! 😉 All in all, I'm very happy with how this grow went. 💪 SMOKE REPORT This girl was a pleasure to grow, she had no issues start to finish. And even better, she produced a very nice yield of 5.6 ounces of very nice, potent, flavorful buds. The buds have a nice earthy flavor, which is my favorite type. They're nice and dense too. It's not quite as couch-lock as the Opium I grew from Divine, but it's still a night time smoke. Overall, great stuff! 😎

What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! The rest will still remain getting same dose of nutes the rest of this week and most likely into the next! This batch felt like it went so quick ! Hope you all enjoy an watch out for next week !
