Only difference is that I’ll be trying a different nutrient schedule this time to try and avoid pH fluctuations as much as possible as the last pheno seemed a bit sensitive on pH issues, so I’ll be keeping it more simple but maybe at a higher dose let’s see what she wants. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 16h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color, estaban muy bien enraizadas al realizarle el trasplante se notaba la abundancia radicular, también aplique tetra 9 de manera foliar. Well... I just learned to be more gentle with my ladies I ve broken one of the leaves when I was turning the pot ... poor GG watered with Green Planet nutrients I just hope she won't get mad on me. Nothing really more exciting after those 15 days. Ohh I would forget, I bough a more expensive PH meter because I thought the cheap one that i get from Amazon is not correct. well... ...both of em are showing the same thing. From 14th day I decided to add some silicone and calmag agent into the diet of RQS ldies because they definitely are growing slower and the EC of the solutions made with RQS GROW tablets were a bit too low. I also decided to spray my ladies once a week with foliar from vitalink

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. Extremely healthy plant, despite the temps getting up to 32C here and there. No problems at all with this strain. Very excited for the budding.

11/3 Week 6 Watered roughly one gal each @6.5PH, Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo 1 tps /gal Flower Girl still in the pot, no deficiencies I can see, well new ones :) Mag-Sulfur Foliar spray (Epsom Salt 1tbs/gal) on all as leaving cal-mag out this time Moved the two healthy plants to the center of the light, they can use it, the others might respond well to lower levels. 11/4 Better pics uploaded Placed Brandy on a block of coco coir to bring her canopy up to Layla's level. Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Watching that plant carefully Considering a PK boost watching only Layla for that as the other two ... well hell what can they tell me? 11/5 Working to getting the canopy under control with one stunted plant and another stretching like crazy. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. Still giving light pref to healthy plants. 11/6 Raised lights three clicks, increased extraction, showing some heat stress in those edges. 11/7 Good results on the heat stress curling has ended. Noticed some improvement also in the tops of Brandy and Maggie, so raised lights another couple of clicks. See if it continues, coming up on a make or break feeding in couple of days. update Foliar Feed All - Epsom Salt 1tbs/gal Well Maggie's came today - To runoff- 1% peroxide - 5ml CalMag - PH 6.8 Hitting Sulfur as hard as I can. Canopy is level now so lights set to Maggie being slightly taller ***Last update before the new week.*** May have found ONE of my problems,certainly not THE problem, but one. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.

P-Boost and Topbooster, our dynamic duo, continue to work their magic. Week 6 Vegetation - "Sam" rate of growth started to increase near the beginning of the week. With the nodes now stretching, I've started to implement tucking of the larger fan leaves under new and smaller shoots. I find this "new growth priority" method paired with LST really maximizes and speeds up the growth in comparison to an untrained plant. Merely anecdotal though! You'll notice that in the 3rd shot, the nodes stretched out in about 2 days and just ballooned! now that's what I'm talking about! nearing the middle of the week and the rate of growth is fast enough that I can't remember to take enough pictures between the new nodes. At this point I'm tucking new leaves almost daily, making paths for the light to reach new growth tips. By the end of the week, I'll need to start tying the nodes to the side before they stretch too far up. If they stretch too far before tying them, they can be a PITA to tie down later with dense foliage and such. Tying them down before they get to this point also keeps the nutrients moving to the "new side-nodes" from these branches. Eventually these will be just as thick as the original main stalk. UPDATE: As you can see with the last photos added, the branches are almost even with the original top of the plant that was tied down. I gave them a thorough fertigation the night before, and only slight folding of the leaves so I must have choked the roots a bit, but nothing long term.

The budding has begun👀. Flowers are starting to mature pistols are turning to buds. Everything’s looking great! Looking forward to the buds putting on weight. Just continuing to water and added some bud candy for trichome production. The tropical cooler is super fruity dank smell if that is what you are looking for I highly recommend. The next best sent is the Super Lemon Haze x Gary Payton lemon tropical punch smell. The Blueberry Swirl has a zesty lemon smell. Fat Banana has a buttery lemon smell. Probably gonna pheno hunt Tropical Cooler later.

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year!! Ciao 2018, may 2019 be filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds 😄😉 Day 36-39: Started off nice well this week, considering the amount of defoliation I did on day 35. Some more stretching going on here but not too much, except 4AM3 has a central shoot I couldn't find a spot to LST that just started to shoot right up lol. Starting to show some nice frost on Day 36 too. 4AM2 is already starting to plump up a bit, don't think will get much more stretch on that one, seems like it will probably harvest the least. I might have overdone the defoliation on it on Day 35 lol. 4AM2 is the one I decided to top for the hell of it anyway because it had a really wierd growth mutation. Still, with less main tops to produce it might be the best bud of them all 😅 Day 37-42: Day 37 is when I started seeing a deficiency I thought might have been magnesium on 4AM1. Pictures to show up top. Since their next feeding wasn't scheduled until day 42 I waited. Day 38 and it had spread a little on the same plant, and typical calmag deficiencies started slowly showing up on a few other plants(really tiny amounts). I posted on reddit and pretty much confirmed my suspiscion of a calmag deficiency. Since I am watering twice a week, once with calmag ph'd to 6.8-6,9 and once with blume nutes ph'd at 6.3-6,5. The calmag feeding was done on day 42( as scheduled at full strength this time so hopefully the problem will go away. 4AM2 hasn't been watered yet, pot didn't feel completely light yet(plus she had the most runoff last feed), will get her dose tomorrow. P.S. Really starting to smell like sweet berries! Mmm.. 😍 On to week 7!

Home stretch now. Going by the last time I grew this strain, theres about 2 or 3 weeks left till harvest. Buds are fattening up, absolutely sticky as anything and stink the place up too!
