This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Week 11 (10-4 to 16-4) 10-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 52% (lowest) No pictures. Added 10L to the reservoir, and turned it on for a couple of minutes. 11-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 52% (lowest) 12-4 Temperature: 25.5 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 57% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. 13-4 Temperature: 26.5 degrees (lights on) 23 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 56% (lowest) 14-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Dont know why but while i was defoliating the Chemdog smelled a little bit like soap haha. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Still the same treatment! as it seems to work. I make sure to keep it over 400ppm. I notice conductivity (the nutrients in the water) goes well up when I throw many slugs! No more water from the canal, since it rained enough. I have lots of mosquito larvae, so I try to give them everyday, to reduce the number of moskitos (they don't bite very hard and are really slow). June 12, day 84, not many leaves left to remove from the upper canopy. The Euforia's buds continue to slightly increase in size, but at this point it is mainly ripening. With the greater light penetration some middle/lower buds are also putting on weight. The PPFD is roughly 700 for the canopy so the light close to it's healthy maximum. I noticed two fungus gnats in the tent which is not a big issue this late in the grow. Just to be careful I ran a fertigation cycle with h202 instead of enzymes to kill any larva in the coco. June 14, day 86, uploaded a video of the trichomes to record their development across various buds. June 17, day 89, I removed some more leaves allow more ripening of lower buds. The trichomes are getting about 5-10 percent amber, and the buds are looking pretty ripe overall. I am going to draw down the nutrient EC over the next week, and then prepare the plant for harvest. I am currently guessing the harvest will be around day 100.

Unfortunately the lady got struck with bud rot. She has undergone minor surgery followed by close inspection 🧐 until harvest. Ps the aroma she gives off is straight citrus fruit 🍋🍊

These girls are all doing great. The one that topped itself is going great looks so fat already. 1 has a weird top and 1 took on like a sideways growth. But they are all doing perfect. Going to take clones soon since they about a month old then will be getting flower tent ready. Time to choose what genotype is the best out of this strain. Atleast in this first half of beans. Still no smell yet but prolly soon b coming. Way excited about all I got going rite now. Stay tuned, much love

Bonjour a tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine 4 je surveille comme à mon habitude hygrométrie et arrosage. Je peaufine mon LST en stressant ma plante le moins possible. Je combine mon LST avec un pincage d'Apex cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Petit rappel sur le pincage d'Apex: Le pinçage des plantes de cannabis Proche de la taille d’apex sur le principe, cette technique possède cependant plusieurs avantages, le principal étant de conserver le gros bud central de la plante, d’une production et qualité maximale. Pinçage des plantes de cannabis Le pinçage d’apex (tête de la plante) consiste simplement à pincer délicatement la tige du dernier étage de la plante, entre le pouce et l’index, jusqu’à sentir la fibre s’écraser sous les doigts avec un petit bruit critch caractéristique. Si l’espace disponible sur la tige du dernier étage ne permet pas d’y placer confortablement ses doigts, il faudra plutôt pincer l’étage du dessous. Le pinçage ralentira fortement la croissance verticale de la plante, tout en stimulant le développement des branches secondaires, donnant ainsi à la plante une forme de buisson. La plante mettra quelques jours à réparer ce pinçage, formant un nœud à cet endroit, et poursuivra ensuite sa croissance de façon normale. Le pinçage peut alors être répété si nécessaire, sur l’étage suivant nouvellement formé, ainsi que sur les éventuelles branches secondaires qui pourraient dépasser l’apex. Le pinçage est donc une excellente technique pour avoir une belle canopée uniforme de type marée verte. En pinçant régulièrement l’apex des plus grandes plantes de votre espace, durant la croissance et en début de floraison (stretch), vous obtiendrez ainsi facilement des plantes de hauteur homogène en pleine floraison, ce qui facilitera la culture et augmentera la production finale, surtout si vous cultivez simultanément de multiples variétés de marijuana. Avec un peu d’habitude le pinçage pourra être réalisé aussi rapidement qu’efficacement. En cas de pinçage trop violent qui se traduirait par un apex arraché, cela produira simplement les mêmes résultats qu’une taille classique de l’apex, ce qui ne sera donc pas dramatique.
