12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

Been busy starting back at work, not had as much time as I would of liked to keep an eye on the garden especially now they are all flowering. I thought I may have harvested a plan or 2 by now but the girls are still doing their thing. The original Russian is going to be the first over the line though. Lovely smell coming off her is unreal. Same old same vege stage

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Heute gingen die kleinen zum keimen. Ich bin gespannt wie die neue Anzuchtstation ist. Diesmal werde ich 6 Pflanzen mit Plagron Bio und 3 Pflanzen mit BioTabs, alles ganz nach schema düngen. Als Blütekammer kommt wieder die Homebox R120. Man darf gespannt sein. 😊 Leider ist eine Gorilla Zkittlez nicht gekeimt. Die hab ich durch eine Alienz von Greenhouse ersetzt

Runtz from Zamnesia has been a strong grower along the way. When it was in veg it started with a little slow growth but this plant has a lot of euro genetics in it and it seems it would have loved higher light intensity durring veg so it would have stacked better. The buds are an interesting structure that’s why I think the plant was meant to be stacked the nugs army nice round balls there weird shaped like they were meant to be closer together to make long colas. There is potential with this plant just would need some more grows to dial it in to be grown at its pote

Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

It's been a bit of a rocky week for all the plants, things popping up all over the shop but I'm putting it down to being a noob. Light distances/intensity issues and plenty of upcurling leaves from being a proper wally with my nutes. Royal Bluematic #1 - She's had a bad case of Light Burn and it's explained below. I've also noticed this one 'moults' the most and I have quite a handfull of dead/deficient leaves per watering where the other 2 plants in the wardrobe barely drop, but I am at a loss with her (other than changing light height and intensity), I've kept her on her nute schedule as I don't beleive nutes are to blame. She's had it hard from the beginning so it could be that....a bit of a bride of Frankenstein hahaha, she's rather stumpy and very bushy with the main cola being quite chunky, again like the Royal Jack my Royal Blue is airy and whispy pistil node sites but plenty of them...why so long to thicc? the other Royal Blue is coming on rather awesomely....hence more pictures of her...sorry #1. I also had to do an autopsy on a branch, I kept wondering why it was looking so buggered and it was due to it being bent right over at somepoint snapping the branch quite high up making it hard to notice, sliced it off and squeezed the end of the branch together, closing it up and keeping it tight. Royal Bluematic #2 - Well....I'm in lurrrve, she's coming on fine, my lil shorty, budding up with thickness and fat cola, plenty of nodes and very sticky and smelly....Really not a lot long left on her I think? Trichs are not so cloudy yet so maybe a couple more weeks. I have gone and really messed up, the last of her main fan leafs on the cola has crisped and curled upwards which I think was due to being moved to the middle of the grow box and suffered PAR intensity overdose!! I've now moved her back to the side and hope for the best...Not a lot else to say for this one, I'll let the pictures do the talking. If you can see on the pictures, the leaves that face the middle of the LED are bleached and weathered. I've hightened the light and gave the LED rig a jig and got some more efficiency out of it in terms of height and PAR intensity, I'm still needing to purchase a PAR meter but I have learn't that this 600w does kick out some and if there's a plant directly below it then that's some light blasting down on the poor plant. With my next grow I'm only dealing with 2 plants so the light share will be much better and make much better use of said PAR :) As for the feed I've notched Guanokalong Bloom up to 0.3ml but keeping CalMag and Rootbastic the same now throughout the grow. I'm keeping the pH at 6.3 as they seem to like it. I'm hoping this week we'll start to see fatter buds and better leaves. Today's album played to them was 'Leftfield - Rhythm & Stealth'

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

I’m flipping 12/12 this evening. I had a little tip burn on a couple of leaves of the Fullgas. These were in the central area of the light so I just eased off a little on the light intensity and haven’t noticed any issue since. It’s also a little dark atm so will hold off adding the bio grow until next week. Update ** Ive upped the light power by 10% again and watered in 4ml of Alg a mic in 2L of water.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. •Seconda settimana• Buongiorno ragazzi Entrando nella seconda settimana ci siamo accorti che nonostante tutte le precauzioni qualche foglia restava gialla, sempre quelle sottostanti. Da notare che la pianta cresceva benissimo e i pistilli aumentavano di giorno in giorno. A metà settimana circa abbiamo aggiunto 15g a pianta di top dress flo, un preparato organico che è risultato molto efficace e positivo per la pianta, irrigando regolarmente come sempre senza però l’aggiunta di melassa, solo acqua. Per sette giorni dalla somministrazione. Arrivando quindi fino a metà della terza settimana. Ricordo di aumentare sempre la dose di acqua, controllando la pianta e rimanendo sempre costanti nei giorni.
