Had to move her to a smaller space with a weaker light. But she has the entire light to herself. I ended up giving her one more dose of cannacoco A and B and the pk 12/14 also by cannacoco. Will be flushing her with ph’s water at 6ish going forward. I may harvest her top buds first and give the lower buds some time to catch up.

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

I changed the light cycle 11/6, directly to 12/12 by prolonging the sleep period. They got their first bloom nutrients 13/6 Humidity im slowly dropping, as they have not bloomed yet. 12/6 -Temps 24-28day/21-23 night -Humidity 69% (+-4) 13/6 Water day* -Upped the water intake, from 750ml last watering, to 850ml and change in nutrients. Purple Ryder auto is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in the Agrogardens nutrition. She has a great canopy full of budding sites. She is starting to develop a aroma as well. We are a couple who decided to plant cannabis for the first time during the covid-19 quarantine, and it helped us get through it, during and after grow =] Before deciding to plant, we studied a lot and saw many diaries here, so we didn't have many surprises during the cycle, also because we were able to see, compare and know what to expect from our plant. It was really cool to see the result of what we had studied happening in practice, we learned a lot from Grow Diaries. Definitely we will do a lot of different things next time, but overall we were satisfied to be able to smoke our own weed. Grow diaries helped and motivated us a lot, both to learn new things and to organize and register our grow. Our intention is to continue growing and sharing our experience here. Alright folks always are now on day 18 and we are looking good. I did notice the plants needed water pretty badly. Hope I didnt stunt them. (Better than over watering imo) They did perk up once I watered them. They blew up since the last update and it was time to LST. Water the ladies today with aprox 8 cups of de-chlorinated water each, pH to 6.5. Moved the lights a little closer and added a new humidifier due to a break down with the old unit.

So got the net in place this week and started doing my ScrOG. Also did a bit of FIMing and some LST to help speed things up a bit. So far the weaving hasn't been as easy as I was told it be some ive been using some soft twist ties to help keep them in place. Going to veg and weave for another week or so before I switch it to flower. I was told you have to continue weaving for 2-3 weeks into flower but im worried that'll stress the plant out so if anyone that reads this knows other wise, comment below. Increased the feed from 1 liter to 2 liters because I wasn't getting any run off. Now I'm getting 10% run off every watering and I've been able to keep my run off ppm to less then 100 ppm above feed. So far I'm really like working with coco and don't see myself going back to soil unless it's outside plants. The environment has been fairly stable the last week with outside temperature droping. Had a spike in humidity yesterday because it got up to 75% humidity outside where I live. Luckly when that happened my tent only went up to roughly 67% but it's slowly dropped down and then stopped at 62%. There calling for another heat wave this week with it reaching up to almost 40c again for a couple days.... can not wait for summer to be over. I'm a ginger so I'm more of a autumn and spring kind of guy and plus this heat is making it difficult not only for this plant but also the ones I started seeding a few weeks back. Got so hot that they stopped growing for 3 days, 2 died and 3 got burned a bit. So far this 300w SE-3000 Spider-Farmer light is really rocking it. Great coverage, adjustable and detachable ballast have made this a easy grow even with the mad heat. Definitely going to look at the SE-5000 light that runs at 450w or the SE-7000 light that runs at 650w for my next light in the 4x4 tent. Next go around I'm going to try this light in a 2x2 tent I have that I use for germinating. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

What a roller coaster of emotions. Was a litle early to harvest but since I also got some pollen thats totally fine!

Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Esta semana agregue una pastilla de easy 2 grow x 15l de agua y los siguientes riegos con agua. He ido haciendo cropping y moldeando un poco las plantas. Por fin noto mejoria desde que desequilibre el PH. Arranco el Autopot para las Hulkberry. Las gelato van con riego a mano, no tengo mas autopot. Un vaso de agua de plastico cada 3 dias.
