Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. End of Week 5 Brewed a nice veg-specific compost tea and the ladies loved it. Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. The ladies have gained some momentum and they're growing at a rapid pace . I also performed some HST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Didn't have much issues up until now... I noticed about 5-10 tiny little thrips on some of the leaves and I applied an organic microbial insecticide (Agro Organics Bio-Insek, Google it!) that seems to have taken care of the problem. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

The regular humidifier top up every 2-3days , so I have to run water distiller 2x per one refill which is pain 😂 , apart that nothing part sprouting some seeds for the SST , and the Super8 tea been brewing for over 2 weeks , should be readily available liquid feed hopefully , i use 600ml weekly , 3rd week this week and no stress so far , no deficiencies or toxicity .. probably gonna start feeding from week 4-5 see if there’s any difference . It’s all rocket science for me , custom soil blend from scratch, 80%coco coir brick, and using like 3-4 amends Overal , want to be as organic and as simple as possible

So at the start of week 3 I began to LST CM#3 to just experiment basically and topped CM#2 I believe. Again, just to experiment. This is my first grow and I was stunned with the reactions to both! The new growth after topping was about 1/4” in about 12hrs.. Crazy to me and the lst is proving to expose these bud sites and encourage amazing growth QUICK!! I’ll continue to train daily. One of the videos show the topped CM just yesterday. In 4 days, it’s grown soo much! Also, a video mentions the gender reveal but since then, all 4 have officially revealed themselves as female at the 22 day mark.

I put 328 grams of wet bud into my dry tent, my target variables are 60F/60RH for 2 week, with the current temps and high out side humidity we are averaging 66F/58%RH so not to far off - these buds will probably be done at 10 days - looking forward to updating this as harvest report when I trim up.

Got my screen of green out of this week. And I am loving how well the plants are responding to it. It wasn't quite as tedious as I thought it might have been having to leave the plants. I'm still debating on cutting off a few of those lower limbs although they do have some bud spots on them it's probably going to be some smaller popcorn buds. Also I believe they drank more water last week than they have so far which I guess is congruent with their growth. I'm noticing on one of the plants some of the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow, I'm using calimagic, but I'm unsure if there are still some nutrient deficiencies. Also I still see the fungus gnats so I'm going to buy some stuff this week the soil just doesn't get dry enough before I need to water it again for them to be gone.

GSC is doing great she’s covered in nice bud and winding down now , she’ll back off on the feed this week and start flushing next week . I’ve already picked a few smokes off of this little monster and it tastes so nice . I super cropped a few of the taller buds just to get them out of the light so much and gave her a defol, she’s happy as .

my second batch of automatics. I am very optimistic even though one of them has germinated in a strange way. its seed was stuck to the primary COTILÉDONES, I notice a small deficiency now but I believe it will rise quickly. are showing very well for the first week

Hey guys! I chopped all the top half of the plant on 6/4 21:30 and the bottom half on 7/4 23:00. It’s now the 9/4 at 11:30 all of it sits in jars. Dried quicker than I wanted it to but all the buds were very dry too touch so I jarred them. I figured it was easier to remove moisture from the jars than it is to put moisture back into them so hopefully this plan works out🤞 she has a hay smell to her and I’m hoping this goes while curing her. All the nugs look great and some are mega dense and others are very airy. The more airy ones being from lower down I just didn’t have time to keep her going. She weighed in at 110+ grams wet, But I didn’t weigh any of the lower nugs. Dry weight all combined is 35.8 grams. 9.2g from the bottom half and 26.6g from the top half. I’ll re weigh it once I’m done curing. Very happy with this first grow I wasn’t expecting to have this good of a finish even if it isn’t the best💪 both jars are around 21c, the jar with smaller nugs has been sat at 55%-65% and the bigger nugs are getting up to %70 so I’ve been opening the big ones letting the humidity go back down again. I don’t expect to get the drying and curing done %100 but that’s what the first grow is all about. Roll on to my next 3 plants harvest day😎 I smoked all the material that went through the sieve while trimming and damnnn.. tasted like something out of Amsterdam. If the flowers end up like that I’ll be very happy😁 I’ll be adding a smoke report once she’s ready, really looking forward to it🤣 Id like to give a huge thanks to everyone who has helped and advised me on this journey! Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

An explosion of growth this week and increased LST. All girls have now shown their white pistils and look like they are kicking into gear ready to start flower this week. I have increased their feed slightly and will be adding a few additives throughout the coming weeks. I will be sticking with the AN range this grow so I'm very interested to see how that goes as I haven't used them before. The plants are already starting to give off a lovely skunky aroma so I have a feeling these are going to really stink the place up! Next week will be defoliation and more LST as these start to go even wilder! Peace QB

Day 15 Update : Decided to grab a tape measure to check canopy heights on a whim and discovered that my light was hanging 35 inches from “Cellie” Cereal and Milk . Wowzers 👀! So I raised the plant to be 26 inches from the light that I also dimmed down to about 40% . It works out that I can try to get the most out of the end of flower stretch for the older gal who shall no more than be mentioned for reference to accentuate the great glorious glamorous “Cellie”. The humidity plummeted after I did a major defoliation of the older gals so I adjusted the airflow rate of the lower in-line fan and the upper inline exhaust fan with the carbon filter . I lowered them both to the lowest setting & the humidity returned to “normal” Let me explain my reasonings/thinking behind my adjustments which are experimental at BEST. It’s worth also mentioning without having to preset a single thing on my 70pint Dehumidifier located inside this tent it is legitimately only plugged into my PRESET humidistat controller which is set to 50%-46% RH WITH an alarm on highs of 55% and lows of 43% . In real life what this translates to is when this humidity controller triggers the dehumidifier ON @50%RH immediately the fan of the Dehumidifier begins running. However this does not help the rising humidity that is occurring (it will reach 55%-60.2%RH ). Given a fixed amount of time , the condenser(atleast what it sounds like . .again, it could be anything) turns on . It is when this “condenser” “sounding” component begins working that the humidity IMMEDIATELY plummets down to my low point of 46% So to make a long story short the humidity gets vacuumed to 46%RH & the dehumidifier turns off, bc of the PURPOSEFUL EXPERIMENTAL TWEAKING making all air exchange fans low leveled the humidity slowly but steadily rises to 50%RH then the dehumidifier is triggered on but only the fans initially and the humidity eventually reaches 55%RH-60.2%RH & then the humidity gets all its hair snatched out by the dehumidifier and drops back down to 46%RH. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 with all that said of anybody was even interested per my tents leaf canopy height temperature average good to great OR LITE GREEN TO DARK GREEN VPD for my temperature begins @ 60 & ends @ 52 which is kind of a perfect storm for OUR GIRL “CELLIE” oooooooorrrrrrrrrrr sssssssoooooo I think/hope . She still hasn’t needed watering since being transplanted, she should now ready and willing to stretch those toes and we need the opportunities to top water that soil a few times to make those dry amendments available to her . More pics of later the week coming as we go . . Hopefully . Diligence is a practice Day #17: giving her some water today, no specific amount just until she feels the right amount of “heavy”. She was given 3 different batches of water once ph’d to 6.3 once ph’d to 6.7 one ph’d to 6.5. She’s grown an inch in 2 days. Also swapped out the smart hygrometer system to a different brand . So far it has all the capability I was looking for but I need to run 2 more experiments to know for certain it lives up to my needs and its price tag 😁 Day 18 Update: she grew an inch taller nice 👍 The smart hygrometer system has reported/experience Bluetooth failures twice already(although I don’t know exactly what that means considering I purchased this for it’s Wifi capabilities ) I didn’t think to check it whilst I was away so I cannot yet say If it meets my final expectation/need I bought a soil ph meter & it indicates “my mix” is at 3.1 ph 👀 hmm 🤔 I’m wondering if this is a must fix or can I get by .eventually she will be transplanted and at that time I can use my new digital soil ph probe to construct her new blend moving forward but I am curious is I mixed another batch at 3 something ph would it matter ? In the beginning I wasn’t ph’ing any of my watering just because I assumed my soil mixture was highly acidic because of the 70ish pecernr peat moss base . I also assumed that it would be acid fixing for the water I put in it and therefore wouldn’t need to ph it and I did just fine just giving plain old tap water when thirsty until I experience VPD issues & in an effort to pinpoint what my exact issue was and how to fix it I of course eliminated all the variables and dialed in on my ph of my feed water and now my soil so it leaves me wondering does the soil need to be relatively 6.1 ph or is the 3.1 I’m flying at alright also . I checked the other 3 currently in here getting through flower & two of them are in the 3’s for ph & one of them is 6.2(the largest of them all) how ever she was the largest of them all always and oddly enough I mixed one big batch for them and transplanted them at the same time so I get two of them having the same ph as “Cellie” but the other that is in ph heaven is an oddball Should I top her here or supercrop later hmm I need to decide my vision for this thing Day 19 Update: ponytailed her youngest internode for about 16hrs she aggressively popped out of it twice ! It didn’t even work for 24hrs when I try it again it’ll be before the internode is so strong . Also rigged up a 16in oscillating wall-fan that currently being held with 2 zip ties , 2 rubber bands , & a smidget of duct tape and MAJORITY OF FAITH keeping it in place . The biggest plus to my added circulation is that I got the 16in fan for ! A win is a win . Pics uploads will be held for the next 3 days until the end of week 3 upload . Drop a thumbs up Day 20 Update : THE FAN FELL! But no one was damaged or injured . I re-rigged it . This time with duct tape , 3 popsicle sticks , 2 heavy duty zip ties & 1 regular strength zip tie . SHES SOLID NOW 😂 I did some solid rigging this time & have videoed my handy work . Also I forgot to turn my A/C back on before leaving the house so temps and humidity skyrocketed and swung for 9 hours until I got home . The temp in the tent was 84.4 and the humidity went from 42.4 to 57.5 to 42 every three mins. Day 21 Update : SHES A PRETTY GIRL. RQS says Cereal Milk is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid but the pheno of this particular seed seems to lean more towards indica I’m not mad at it ! I’m getting more stoked to see what she can do. She still hasn’t received any additional water since day #18.

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. Added 3 mars hydro sp3000 300 watt led bars I got locally for under 100$ Chopped one down that just wouldn’t vertically stop growing and was suffocating the rest of the plants and now everyone has good light penetration all around Buds are getting fatter and the smell is insane AN BASE b52 bud factor x bud candy and overdrive

We're into the start of September and they've only just begin flowering. Hopefully they get to finish. It's looking to be mid to late October!

This was a great experience and something I have looked forward to for 19 YEARS!!!!!! Thats right, my very first attempt was a summer when I was 14 in a backyard with mediocre results and no flower but that was my very first grow ever. 19 years later its fully legal and here I am getting 36 grams of decent bud grown by the sun in a very questionable cannabis climate!!! NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!!!!!!😋 This diary was never about getting giant buds or the best flowers but more about I'm growing ORGANIC PINEAPPLE EXPRESS IN MY BACKYARD literally a dream come true, to do this worry free, 100% legal. As far as the grow goes I will certainly have some new strategies next year, I think a plastic pot would have been better to keep the heat in at night time with the cool temps earlier on in summer. Maybe even some minor insulation would be a good idea?!?! I'll invent the canadian outdoor cannabis pot hahahah I did not scrog the lady but I did use some yoyos to pull down the outer branches to help the flowers get even light. Will try folair feeding as well next time. I also dried her outside! and trimmed her outside to, she got the full outdoor experience. I just cut the plant and hung her under the deck, worked out good as it was a fairly dry week and she dried out fairly slowly, a little quicker than the tent plants. Now in about a week or 2, maybe a small cure at least first I will be doing the end game goal, smoking endless doobies of pineapple express while watching pineapple express!!!!!!!!!
