On day 1 I changed out my reservoir, and added my bloom nutes, adjusted my light schedule to 12/12 and defoliated the plants. I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.1 My hope is that by flipping this cultivar earlier than my last run, I will not run out of vertical space ;). On day 2 I adjusted my reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 3 the clawing is almost completely gone. I adjusted the reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 4 the reservoir's PH is at 6.1. I defoliated the plants removing anything blocking lower growth to increase light and air penetration of my mains. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir up from 6.0 to 6.3. I will let the PH drift between 6.1-6.3. on day 7 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I lowered the light intensity from 100% to 85% to give the top of my plant canopy an average PPFD of 700-1000. I plan to reduce the intensity as the plants continue to stretch to keep them in the 800-1000 PPFD range. I just got my first quantum par sensor and I'm really loving the new data it gives me to optimize my lighting.

As soon as she recovers from the defoliation and I get a couple of clones I'm going to flip her to 12 12

This strain was only topped in early veg and trained a little bit with LST. After 5 weeks of veg i removed the LST cords and just let her go and what a bush she was, very fat dense heads everywhere, bottom buds also rockhard. I used no boosters just organic nutrients from start to finish in pure coco

Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. Almost at harvest. This is the last week of feeding then on to flush. I have it an extra week as I said before was not really satisfied with the overall performance of drip hydro. Buds seem to small and not dense as other nutrients I’ve used. I will definitely run drip hydro again see if I can get better results. The real test will be at harvest after weighing. Die ersten echten Blätter haben sich gebildet. 06.03.2025: Die erste Woche lief relativ entspannt. Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und die größeren Töpfe, hat die Erde sich gut feucht gehalten und musste kaum gegossen werden. Die ersten Wurzeln lassen sich auch schon an den unteren Öffnungen des Topfes beobachten.

I am checking the trichomes daily now and it will be any day now for the call to be made. 9/26- This is looking like the last day for this fine lady to be watered. The trichomes on the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower are 90% white now, with the other 10% either clear or amber which is perfect! 9/27- This is it... CHOP DAY!

April 26th - Day 69 : Oh my god look at them.. So bushy after that defoliation. They're doing great I think.. The only concern was the laggyness of the leaves but I guess it's due to overwatering so I'll chill with water for a day or two. I started trimming the lower branches that I think aren't getting enough light. I'm trying to push the veg stage as much as I can let's see if they can take an extra few weeks.

It has been primarily smooth sailing minus accounting for low humidity, but that doesnt appear to have bothered the plants. Finally taking some up close bud shots. I have never been much of a picture taking person (a bit of a shaky hand lol), so bare with me in future weeks.

Unfortunately 2 Caligen ladies died. The weather is pretty good. Watering once 2-3 days.
