What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. I decided to resume the diary and so is my peyote next to his buddy sour ripper. I bought an indoor one and left them there even though I am having problems with the temperatures and the miners

I watered with dechlorinated ph adjusted water when the soil was dry and decided to harvest on day 80. I harvested on day 80 and now the plants are hanging upside down in my tent. My inline fan is running on 25% and I got a fan running on the lowest setting on the bottom of the tent, so I doesnt blow on the buds directly.

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

Buds are seelling

This week I changed the scrog net (2”holes) it’s about 7” above the pots upped the nutes to 1.8-2 ec . Watering every morning to about 10% run off Sprayed with canna cure (350ml per ltr) They have really started taking off Lollipop and defoliation There’s still not sign of sex but they are feminised seeds so I will be flipping to 12/12 by next week hopefully they show signs by then .

Started to get some light stress on a couple of taller ones so backed lights off a few inches. Smelling lovely and now starting to bulk up. Buds are rock hard.

Finaler Grow-Report – Lemon Cherry Gelato Mein erster legaler Grow mit Lemon Cherry Gelato von Barney’s Farm ist fast abgeschlossen – das Curing läuft noch, aber es ist Zeit für ein Fazit zum Anbau! Setup & Bedingungen: Ich habe in einer Spider Farmer 90x90x180 cm Growbox unter der Spider Farmer SF-G3000 (300W LED) angebaut. Als Medium kam BioBizz Light-Mix zum Einsatz, gedüngt wurde mineralisch mit Advanced Nutrients (Grow, Bloom, Micro). Um das volle Potenzial der Pflanzen auszuschöpfen, setzte ich auf Low-Stress-Training (LST) und ein ScrOG-Netz zur optimalen Lichtverteilung. Keimung & Wachstum: Die Keimung verlief problemlos – 4 von 5 Samen sind innerhalb von zwei Tagen aufgegangen. Während der Vegetationsphase entwickelten sich die Pflanzen kräftig und reagierten gut auf das Training. Die ScrOG-Methode half, ein gleichmäßiges Wachstum und eine bessere Lichtnutzung zu erzielen. Blüte & Ernte: Nach etwa 6 Wochen Vegetation leitete ich die Blütephase ein. Die Pflanzen zeigten eine starke Harzproduktion und eine beeindruckende Farbgebung mit einer Mischung aus dunklen Grüntönen, lila Highlights und frostigen Trichomen. Das Aroma war von Anfang an fruchtig und zitronig, mit phänotypischen Unterschieden in der Intensität. Die Ernte fiel mit 300-350 g trockenen Blüten sehr zufriedenstellend aus – für meinen ersten legalen Grow ein starkes Ergebnis. Curing (still in run ): Aktuell lagern die Blüten in 24 Mason Jars (16oz) und einem 2L-CVault, um das Aroma weiter zu entwickeln. Derzeit dominiert eine zitronige Note, während die erhofften Kirsch-Terpene langsam stärker hervortreten. Mein Ziel ist es, die Haze-Noten möglichst gering zu halten und das volle fruchtige Profil herauszuarbeiten – der Prozess ist also noch nicht abgeschlossen. Fazit: Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Grow – die Kombination aus hochwertiger Genetik, gutem Training und präziser Nährstoffversorgung hat sich definitiv ausgezahlt. Die Buds sind harzig, aromatisch und vielversprechend, und ich bin gespannt, wie sich das Curing weiterentwickelt. Der nächste Schritt ist, das perfekte Terpenprofil zu treffen – und das Curing geduldig zu optimieren.

Hello People! I harvested my Honey Runtz now some days ago already, was busy with life and didnt post. yet she is drying well in my dry tent! im a bit nervous about making the dry sift soon. will be my first time sifting a whole plant! will post more once she is dry and sifted! :) Hello People! guess its time to show my first time making hash off. its my first time doing this kind of dry sift so didnt know what to expect or what to do. i did alot of research and just free balled as i felt like is right. After Harvesting and Drying i took all the sticks out, left the sugar leaves on the nugs and then put everything in the freezer for like 3 days. ordered some dry ice and did alot of preperations. like getting some big sifting screens. so first i put like 1/4 of the frozen material in a 220 micron bubble bag inside of a big bucket. threw some dry ice in and then started to shake it, so the trichomes felt off.then i collected everything from my bucket and put it in a glass jar with parchment paper (to get better out again)did this 4 times so no material got left over. after the first sifting with the bubble bag, i threw everything on these big sifting screens with 190; 160 and 73 micron. then the drumming started, i used 2 spoons to like hit/drum the screens so the trichomes get seperated by size. i felt like the screens got clogged at some point so i stopped and was like yea thats okay enough lets go to the next step, collecting everything and pressing. the first layer 190+ got discarded. layer 190-160 got saved as well as layer 73-160. everything below the last screen got destroyed by my own mistake. the tape i used to secure the parchment paper on a plank ripped and everything went flying. well i wanted to discard it anyways.. after the sifting screens i used the frenchy cannoli methode with a hot water bottle to press the trichomes to some nice hash. the results: 190-160 micron: 12,4 G 73-160 micron: 32,2 G Total: 44,6 G fully legal here :) im very happy with the results, even tho the hash is a bit green. after all it was my first time doing it like that. i feel like i need to dry it a bit more next time. so the screens aint clogged and thus i can better seperate the trichomes, maybe it is less green then. maybe next time im not using the big sifting screens but rather go for some static with a glove or a ballon.

We are nearing the end and she looks beautiful. I will flush with plain RO water the next week or two while she ripens. I didn’t do any training to her. I have a clone from her and I cut a few leaves from the top of the meristem when she was vegging and she responded with 6-8 branches catching up with the top.
