Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

I topped 1 of the two girls. Also moved them from the 3x3 to the 2x4 with the Spider Farmer SF2000 set to 40% power.

The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Buds are growing and trichomes are coming! :) The smell is now quite strong. I still poor +/- 2l in each pot during each watering (a little bit more for the 26l pots). I noticed that the leaf tips of all the plants become brown/yellow even far away from the light. I think it's because of a lack of nutrient so I started to progressively give BioBloom to all the plants. I removed some leaves here and there to have a better buds exposure. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 120cm (+4) O.G. Kush : 75cm (+3) Mandarin Punch #1 : 140cm (+13) Mandarin Punch #2 : 123cm (+6) The plants are now slowing their growth. I hope they will stop soon because the light is almost at the maximum height. The Mandarin Punch #1 is the highest plant I ever grow!

Another round of topping. Tied her all back to spread out for LST. Going to flip to flower next week. Used the Kushman technique and Supercropped all her stems every inch on the way up, without bending. Gives her muscles to flex <3

Hallo und herzlich willkommen in Veg. Woche 3 Endlich kam ordentlich Sonne und sie hat ein tolles Format. Wie es scheint haben wir uns gut um die Wurzeln gekümmert, im Moment konzentriert sie sich sehr schön auf Höhe, Kraft und Vitalität. Der jetzt noch (Stengel) bald Stamm, wird Stabiler und kommt in leichte Struktur. Blattmasse nimmt auch deutlich zu! Sie sieht fabelhaft aus und ich denke, ihr geht es auch super! Auch die ersten Triebe in den nodien wachsen. Insgesamt momentan eine top Geschwindigkeit! Nebst sehr neugierige Kater (2) hat sich zusätzlich herausgestellt, dass ein Hornissennest sich 2 m entfernt im Dachstuhl befindet. Zunehmender wird es sehr ungemütlich und ich denke, ich werde sie runter in den Garten verbringen müssen. Auch da im Außenbereich sind noch mehr Katzen, daher werde ich am kommenden Dienstag irgendeine Art Schutz für die süßen fertigen. Zur Nahrung: Gegossen wird seit 3 Tagen jeden Tag 1 Liter. Aktuell fahren sie ganz gut mit 2 Tage angepasstem PH- Wasser und einen Tag 80% vom Düngerschema an Makro u. Mikronährstoffe. Stickstoff befindet sich noch ausreichend bis ca. Mitte nächster Woche im Medium. Trinken tun sie wirklich gut, Gestern wo es so heiß war, hab ich am Nachmittag noch etwas nachgießen müssen. War aber die selbige Menge wie Morgens ergo 2 mal 500 ml. Ich hatte mich auch dazu entschlossen, einmal Super Microbes am Mittwoch statt erst Sonntag zu geben. Ich werde jetzt sehr genau darauf achten, wie sich die schöne verhält. Aber mir macht es schon den Eindruck, das sie sehr hungrig sein werden! Somit freue ich mich sehr auf die kommende Woche! Esta semana las chicas han mejorado un poco, se detuvo el amarillamiento, descubri que Cal-Max de Grotek interfiere en la composicion de la linea hesi por lo que las chicas sufren un bloqueo de nutrientes, dejé de utilizarlo y las chicas han continuado con su desarrollo relativamente normal. ya estan en su 5ta semana de floracion, Tutankhamon ha producido una cantidad gigantesca de resina, Lennon esta engordando a toda velocidad y aun le quedan 6 semanas aprox. Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! So starting week 3 or week 2 of veg. I upped my feed schedule to 4 times a day as well as upped the ppm to 550. Decided to finally named the plants. Left hand side is Amy and the right is Rose. I have been using doctor who characters for my plant names 🤓. Well it’s day 17 and rose is looking really good and robust. Amy on the other hand is still a bit small and looking like she has some sort of deficiency. Even though both plants have been treated the same. I am going to just keep doing what I am doing and hope she will catch up in time. She is slowly looking better and better. Other than that I am hoping to start my LST at the end of this week. I will update this week as it progresses. This actually about day 11 after sprout and starting veg. With that being said I did start a little light LST on rose. My last grow I had a similar issue where one plant was half the size of the other of the same strain. It made flowering awkward in my setup. So I am really going to concentrate on keeping rose as close to the same height as Amy. I’ll use LST as much as I can then I will be scrogging them as best I can.
