8 weeks old now! The harvest window is truly open... mostly cloudy trich’s and the pistils are over 50% amber on most plants. The cola’s are pretty large and dense, have mostly filled out as much as they possibly will. Harvest will be underway at some point over the next week so 9 weeks maximum for these Moby dicks. 👊😋

Things are moving fast! 🚀 Two out of three plants started showing their first signs of flowering early in the week, while the one that got “auto-LST’d” by the fan took 2–3 days longer to catch up but she’s finally there too!🌱 All three are now starting to stretch, and I’ve gently tied down a few branches with soft wire to keep the structure nice and open. Nutrients were adjusted just in time, and everything continues to run super smoothly. Can’t wait to see how these berry babes develop over the next weeks!🍓🌱

Steady week, all the girls seem to just keep getting bigger and bigger! Defoliated which I forgot to take pictures of however, they literally replaced the foliage in days! I Have a slight worry about one of the GG as she seems to be carrying on vegging with no real signs of flowering, just stretching more each day!? This seems strange as the Stardawgs look like they could be ready for flush in the coming weeks.. I am only a newbie so maybe i'm just been a little paranoid!? Either way She's absolutely massive!! Got the Dawgs out for a little photoshoot!

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. The autos are flowering and just loving the sun. They are drinking daily. What a difference the sun makes. The others are moving soon. Gorilla is ready. Slurricane is ready to be cloned. So I must find time to set up the cloner. Maybe I'll go old school with it. Once I top her she will start branching. This is what we need more clones. I've been having trouble with seeds, got some more coming. I just dont have the time or energy to take care of them. That is obviously the problem here. The fluctuating humidity from 10% to 99% doesn't help.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Hi people. Week 2 of vegetation going on, everything is great at this point, the ladies are very strong e almost ready to start the LST Training. Good week to everyone. :-) Cheers!

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

This started straight forward, follow PPM and don’t over feed..

Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.
