Hello everyone! This week the wedding cake has finally started to flower and it is in the pre-flowering period. After the gorilla skittles started flowering as early at the 6 week, the wedding cake continued to grow insanely for 2 weeks and grew about 35cm in two weeks!!. She finished all the space in the closet and currently the top of the plant is 30 cm from the lamp, I have no more room in the closet to lift the lamp. I tried using Scrooge and Deployment but it was not enough. The fiming method did not stop the growth enough. This week I did another cleaning of the leaves and flower areas that I am not interested in. Hope everything will go smoothly!

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

Day 35 looking like these will go 9+weeks, buds are stacking good size buds well over 3ft and should prove to little no trim with this cultivar.

Hello colleagues! As I expected, in the middle of the week all the plants bloomed, especially pleased that almost in unison, including our medical strain. I did nothing except remove the extra large burdocks, I will do a thorough defoliation after the large "dandelions" appear. In the meantime, I continue to observe. I took a sample off the bud to see how it’ll look dried, so the plan is to cut the plant off Sunday! All I wanted is something to smoke and at this point I’m happy that seems to be the reality after the drying&curing process! Amazing feel! Some powdery mildew starting but shouldn’t be a problem if I cut soon!

So far loving dr kriplings incredible bulk 💚🍁💪 growing at twice the rate of my skunk #1 auto and its really lends its self to LST, nodes pop up over night, truly a special plant 🍁💚 wish I scrogged her to be honest 😅😬

6/10 Everything looks great. We’re on autopilot now unless anything else pops up. 6/13 Last few days have seen heavy stretch. I suppose I vegged a week too long by looking at how it is now. I’ll gain a few more inches of light height tomorrow when my new exhaust system arrives (I accidentally broke the screen on the current one, thankfully it’s still functional for now). I ended up doing more general defoliation over the past 3 days due to the stretch but will hopefully be done shortly. 6/14 I installed the new 6 inch exhaust setup from AC Infinity to replace the 4 inch Spider farmer exhaust. Absolutely massive upgrade, and by installing the fan outside of the tent I was able to raise the light an additional 4 inches or so. This may end up being important as she’s still stretching and I’m almost out of usable height. New light reading is 590 PAR / 25.5 DLI

Permanent Marker was the last one standing and got the chop at day 75 of flower, nearly 11 weeks. The trichomes were still not very amber anywhere except the top sugar leaves, but it was about 90% milky white, and the leaves were all drying out. I bagged 36g of larfy buds and trimmings, 20.5g top buds, and 12g small buds. 32g smokable is not bad. I will update with smoke report in a couple weeks, but initial tests were promising. Strong chemical taste not far off from its namesake, with a KO strength punch.

Growth has been slow but solid thought I'd do a update for the last 2 weeks, bud sites really stacking now getting very dense and sticky, its been a long grow but I think she's nearly there few more weeks, still not looking like a massive yielder but now the bud sites are bulking out and becoming dense I think it will be better than expected 🙏 very potent skunky smell coming off her

The top is at to starting to throw out pistils, (foxtailing, I'm not sure if it's due to stress. Or just invigorating) as the tops are starting to equal out and fill out. Funnily she's at to bulking up. Very frosty, bit of an earthy musky smell. Gonna leave her for a few more days under my SF-1000 to finish her off. Will hard flush in the next 24hrs with 4 others and they'll all go under my later stage ripening light "SF-1000" !!!!!!!HARVESTED!!!!!!! Edited, ( decided to add my harvest wk and merge it into this viewing week. She is a very odd duck. She just kept pushing out clayxs. Built on sugar leafs and very airy. But, I'm not at all put off by that. The buds are very frosty. (Foxtailing) due to heat and extra stress from a hard push at the end. Some FOXTAILING for a 2x trichomes production in the last week was worth it to me. I'm gonna hold off on rating for a few weeks after the cure, as it's not the most pleasant smoke atm. And after 3 days curing it has gotten a lot better. Bit dank earthy and musky.. have yet to get a sweet smell. I've only had a 1 skinner blunt and it got me high. But I had already smoked other an hr before. So, I'll give true rating in a wk r 2. HARVEST PICS AVAILABLE DIET Has been a mixed bag. But the past few weeks I've been pushing plagron natural line, and a few of their top products. Atami have been used at the end. As was plagron & Terpinator. So, I've nothing to compare it to. And then the FC 3000 was used for late stage of flowering & ripening.

These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably won’t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and it’s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs. Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow

Sorry for being late with this update! 😱 Plants are maturing well but I noticed Matcha is developing slower compared to Pistachio and I assume that's because the height of the lights are very different from each plant, but both are still going forward. A clear sign of maturity is Pistachio's brighter color leafs and the amount of "brown" pistils on both plants. Trichomes are developing well too. Anyway, I think I will give Pistachio one more week and then see how Matcha develops to cut her. I also started to defoliate my girls, there were tons of dying leaves! See you all in my next update!
