📆 Week 13, 4-10 April 2024 4-10 April - Let the plant grow and observed, assessing maturity. 📑 Buds have fattened up and matured. The trichome head colors are 80% milky, 10+% amber, and about 10% clear. All but a few pistil hairs are brown. She has a strong, sweet earth, gassy, berry scent. The plan now is to flush with RO water for a few days leaving lights on the same 12/12hrs schedule but turning power the down to 50% to help cool down the grow just before the cut. From what I understand putting plants in darkness may not be necessary according to a recent suggestion by Dr Bruce Bugbee. This practice he claims halts all plant activity without light. So I’m doing my own comparisons over the next few harvests. It will not hurt/gain much either way. She’s a little shorter than the rest only by a couple of inches! I’ve opened her up by defoliating the bigger fan leaves and letting light get to the lower bud sites allowing better quality buds (non airy/popcorns) humidity hit between 50 and 56% and that’s perfect! Will lower in the last 2 weeks to 40% and hold during flush! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi people! Everyone knows that growing requires patience from the grower! otherwise nothing good will come of it .. and in this case my patience is at the limit)) but I hold on .. (as you can see by reviewing my diaries ..) well, I was planning to do the same on this girl .. at the age of 3 weeks I did Topping .. well, I was planning further LST and all that .. but it is so beautiful that it will grow, grow round and turn into a beautiful round fluffy bush that I felt sorry to touch her and interfere with her natural beauty .. so I got patience and decided not to touch it at all until completion ..) hands itch to cut off at least a leaf! there are a lot of branches with flowers inside)) I just imagine her in buds in a few weeks) and it takes my breath away from understanding how beautiful she will look ..

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Flush time, within the end of this week is now flush time. To summary this week i just kept on my feeding habits, Water with base > Water with boosters, alternating Recharge. My led seams to be crashing a bit, the colors are not stable as is possible to see in the timelapse. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, with a slight amber. 9 weeks flowering time will be exact, just need time to flush, they are maturing fast fast, hairs are getting orange in a blink. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Compared to the Blueberry the nugs are thinner, still nice size, a bit less dense, thru the stems there are many popcorn buds, that is also due to the less removal on this girl to test. Loaded with colas and the scent is very sugary too, a bit stronger than the BB, and the hairs are turning orange faster, starting to look very mature. Defoliated a bit to avoid rot, will defoliate more for this reason.

Day 82. First of two is down. Day 88. Second down. Both will be decent by weight and structure, but smell and taste .... maybe after cure ? ;))) Day 92. First went to jars. Will be hard to keep fingers away ... ;))) Day 98. Both in jars ! 170 g of my very likeable smoke ;) Will update later Happy Growing !!!

10/19/24 started

Empezamos la semana 3 de crecimiento desde que brotaron sus primeros cotiledones, su crecimiento es explosivo!! Pronto empezaremos hacer cortes apicales para empezar a entrenar y luego poner el Scrogg!!!!

This week has been a mixed bag for my two plants. #1 is really taking off now, showing strong growth and picking up speed!🌱 It’s looking healthy and vigorous, which is great to see. Towards the end of the week, I also noticed the first signs of flowering—exciting! Unfortunately, #2 is still struggling.😩 It has barely grown and remains very small compared to #1. If it doesn’t start making progress soon, I might consider replacing it with another plant. I’ll give it a little more time, but let’s see how things develop in the next week. Fingers crossed!🤞

Another week on the Gorilla, she is forming bud, but real irregular and she seems to not fill out like she is supposed to. The plant is way smaller than her roommates too, in this case thankfully cause this will compensate a little for the loss of total weight she will cause. I had made a video but decided not to put it up, with too much strong language and questions of the integrity of the third-party seed bank in question. Remember that Expert seeds probably cant help this much, except not dealing with third parties messing up their good name. Well enough words for an so far underperforming plant. We did as much magic as we could, I think Im lucky if she yields 30 grams, lowering my total and average gram per watt score so thanks...

It's week 9 of flower and she's been fed her last bit of nutrients. I'll start flushing with BushDoctor's SledgeHammer 2 tsp a gallon. Then just straight water until the chop :)

Bueno, para no perder a nadie, el sistema que manejo es con dos indoors en paralelo. Uno en flora y otro creciendo la madre. A la madre la hago crecer hasta sacarle esquejes. Luego pasan al otro indoor, la madre y los esquejes, y ahí comienza la floración. Y ahí mismo comienza la nueva madre en el indoor pequeño. La variedad es de un banco argentino que no sé si sigue existiendo. Se llama "kali seeds" y la variedad es superhaze. Que en teoría tiene unas 10 semanas de floración. Día 01. Puse la planta para obligarme a terminar el prototipo. En este caso decidí usar madera de palets y algunas otras cosas que encontré en la calle. Ya casi termino todo, pero me falta armar los cierres. No voy a hacer puertas, dado que no está centrado, así que uso una tela de microfibra que ayuda a opacar mucho y era mas barata que el blackout. Ademas es impermeable y me sirve para un nuevo mecanismo de seguridad para fugas que quiero implementar. Es bastante simple, pero me soluciona mucho. Hoy no hay mucho más que mostrar. Cuando lo haya terminado voy a ir mostrando como va quedando. No me voy a enroscar con los tsp. Voy a poner lo que use aca. Ahora puse un litro de agua con un poco menos de 1g. de Feeding Grow de Greenhouse. Al menos por ahora, ya que tengo que comprar medidores porque los míos ya no dan confianza. Día 4. Ya estoy terminando de acomodar el indoor. Lo forré con refractario e instalé las "puertas" que en realidad son telas tipo blackout, pero mucho más finitas. Me falta terminar de ordenar la electricidad para que cada sector tenga su timer. Van a ser 3 timer diferentes. Por un lado van a ir luces y ventilaciones de flora (12hs). Por otro lado bombas de aire, bomba de agua y probablemente vientos de floración (15 min/hr). Y por último luz y ventilación del modulo de madres (18hs). Hice el cambio del depósito, a uno de 5 litros, ya que los próximos 10 dias pienso intentar mantener la misma solución (mantuve la proporción 1g/L de feeding grow). La planta tuvo un ataque de una plaga que fue a sus primeras hojas. Por suerte en el momento puse tierra de diatomeas y parece haberse detenido. Pero se pueden ver los amarillos en las puntas. No me preocupa, dado que en hidroponia esos problemas se resuelven y la planta se recobra enseguida. Ahora igual habrá que ir monitoreando, dado que me había olvidado de desinfectar el indoor, cosa que hice luego de este ataque. Tengo fé que llegando al mes y medio de crecimiento, ya esté en condiciones de cortar unos esquejes. Día 07. Por el momento el crecimiento viene rápido cómo suele ser en hidroponia. En unos días le voy a estar haciendo el corte apical. La ansiedad me viene ganando, pero sigo con fé. Esta semana tengo que comprar un par de aditivos y medidores que me están faltando. Pero ya está todo encaminado.

Everything’s wonderful. But a lot of work to do @ the moment.. Today I had to realize once again how different a run can be. One Dark Devil has given up. So I had to harvest her. About 2 weeks early. This specimen had already resented the topping, I think. She didn't show much effort to become more branched and was already pre-flowering in week 2. I am looking forward to a few suggestions or opinions from you, dear garden friends. I'll put photos in a moment... Normally, I wouldn't top an automatic of the Red Family from Sweet Seeds from experience. Somehow they had problems more often, when I did. When they were fully grown, they were usually very productive and healthy. She simply had too weak nerves. But that's ok. My nerves are also pretty down. Due to the loss of my beloved Quimaria - I miss my sweet cat girl insanely. That's why I didn't want to interrupt this passage with the good old Secret Jardin to set up the Homebox. Too many beautiful memories stick to this tent, because my ladybug always sat at the edge of the bed, when I did my gardening. For me, this also means a kind of farewell. This plant also began to bloom after a very short time. But I'm happy about more space, because all the other comrades-in-arms like it very much and everything is progressing properly. She behaved as if she was already slightly over time. Little perspiration. And no changes were noticeable. Leaves with an autumnal touch. But a wonderful berry-like scent. The bud sites are just covered in tricomes, I had my magnifying glass out to check the colour and most are milky but not as much as I thought by going by the pistol coloring, as they are mostly brown. There is a more of a spicy dank smell to her now and the fan leaves have mostly died or are close to dying. Hopefully I can start the flush process soon but will not do this till I'm happy with the tricome colouring.
